Best bagel shop around. Often enough when I walk into an establishment that serves a specific demographic other than my own people are normally staring at me as if Im an alien from outer space. At this location I am always treated kind and the food is always amazing. When I get food from this location I am never let down by the quality or taste.

Tried this place for the first time and it was quite underwhelming. I ordered the fried chicken breast panini and it was incredibly bland. The sandwich itself was big and looked delicious, however, it lacked flavor for something with cheese and bacon.

Stopped by a couple weeks ago after a blood donation to see what they had and was pleasantly surprised to see that the offerings were pretty tough night. Lego selection is great, Cream cheese selection is solid, and the entire place was clean and neat and spaced out to avoid any congestion. The gourmet cold brew coffee is also really really good and An easy recommendation for people that love coffee.

First time here off a recommendation from a friend. Have to say the bagels were amazing. Service was good, nothing amazing but still good. I will definitely go back if I’m in the area.

We always enjoy a big bag of bagels from this place when were visiting family on Long Island. Its a little pricier than some others but the bagels are reliably good. From time to time the cream cheese can be a tad skimpy but not often and the veggie cream cheese is super delish. Overall, a great spot that rarely disappoints.

The Grilled Chicken Peach Salad is better in concept than execution. Let me start by saying all of the ingredients were fresh! The chicken was lovely and so was the brie but there was no peach in this salad - it was a nectarine and not quite ripe as it lacked flavor. Love the idea of brie in a salad but both arugula and brie have intense flavors profiles so it was a bit too much for the senses. This should probably be offered as a seasonal salad during the summer and maybe using a spring mix with a touch of arugula.

This place always makes delicious breakfast meals. Bagels are amazing and that super lox cream cheese is seriously addicting! Employees are always so friendly

It’s sad because I really do like this place and their food is great but they are so unprofessional. One of the counter girls literally threw my bag of food on the counter when I came to pick up my food and I try calling to place an order and they answer “sorry I’m really busy right now” and hung up.

Check your receipt, or they overcharge you!Bottom one is the first receipt I was given, above is the second one after I requested details. Lady gave me the receipt and walked right away like she didn’t overcharged me. Bad business practice!

From out of town but always stop when Im close by. Excellent bagels and baked goods. Love their chicken salad and potato salad. Fast and friendly service.

Bagels taste amazing and fresh. Unfortunately due to language barrier they had a hard time handling not only my order but the customer after me as well. Wait time was kind of long for 2 people. Id say about 20 minutes. The order wasnt that complicated either.

I got a mini bagel with salmon salad and a small iced coffee. The total was $10. That seems a bit pricey to me. Also, the iced coffee was horrible. On the plus side, the staff was nice.

The worst service ever, rudest Mexican/Latin gentleman (short with short hair). As most of us need a minute or two to figure out what we want, this guy was so impatient & walked away with anger & saying I will come back when u decide. This could be normal if the attitude was polite. It did not stop there, the guy continue to be rude & very un-professional as we ordered, did not properly responded to our questions & provided the worst customer service experience. We were visiting friends in this area & be sure to tell them about our experience. On the other hand food was delicious, we wish service also match the food quality and taste.

If I can give this place no stars I would it looks nice going in the business but if you look a little closer there are roaches🤮 crawling around in the food case I didnt bother to wait on my order 🤢

Bottom line, I wont be going back. Review below:We placed an online order at 9am to be ready for 1040am (order was a pumpkernickle bagel with veg cream cheese, sesame flagel with egg white, and egg bagel with over hard egg and turkey bacon). We showed up at 11am and were told our order and wasnt ready. I look to my left to see employees scrambling to get our order together now 20 minutes late.We opened the bag to eat in the car on the highway to find the sesame flagel has turned into a plain bagel and the over hard egg has turned into a runny, messy over easy eggs sandwich with cold, not cooked turkey bacon.To add to the disappointment, the bagels had a weird sweetness that was very off-putting .Very unfortunate because this place is very convenient. However I will not ever be returning.

They have flagels. Bagel quality is good, toppings on both sides. Was able to get an egg sandwich, generous side of home fries, and drink for around $10 which is very reasonable! Very happy with this place.

One of my favorite stops in Melville. The staff is always friendly, food is reasonably priced and always delicious. Their ice coffee is great as well. I end up here a few days a week now and drive from Bethpage with the family on the weekends. Their bagels and different selection of cream cheese is always a hit with my little guy.

The bagels here are really good and would recommend trying to place out if you live near buy.

Everything I’ve ordered has been ridiculously delicious. Staff is friendly, down to earth, and hard working. Was recently gifted with their homemade potato chips which are amazing. This humble bagel store is a gem.

Work and live close by, has become my new favorite bagel store since the other one on 110 has become to over packed, over crowded, and horrible customer service. I will be sticking with this one! Thank you for the awesome food & Customer service!

Nice place

Really good selection and quality but the service is almost alway horrendous. Not sure why the young girl on the weekend works there if shes going to be nasty and incompetent all the time.

Their bagels are authentic NY bagels and affordable, I paid only $3.79. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with cinnamon raisin cream cheese. The only critique I have is that the cinnamon raisin cream cheese was a little to sweet for me combined with cinnamon raisin bagel. Next time Ill just get regular cream cheese. Overall it was a great experience, the service was fast even though they were busy and the staff was friendly.

Delicious food, wonderful staff, my favorite stop for bagels/breakfast and lunch. Food is fresh and fast. Great coffee. The egg sandwiches are the Best. All around you cant go wrong. There are a lot of bagel stores and delicatessen locally but I drive past all of them to pick up food from Bagel Market and Bistro because my wife and I always agree that their food is the best.

This place is modest, and legit. Close to the highway too. Won’t impede on your local commute and the food is good.

If youre looking for a real New York bagel this is the place. But dont stop there, they have a large variety of items, you wont be disappointed.

Delicious bagels and salads!!!

Stopped in there this morning(04/07/2018) before donating platelets, I had no eggs at home so I decided to stop here. Had a#3 omelette with an extra egg. Was excellent, with perfectly prepared eggs in a burrito wrap. There was no need to add anything...A+++

I recently became handicapped and getting in and out of the car into stores is very difficult. Bagel bistro will allow you to place your full order and pay for it online and they are willing to bring the food out to the car when you arrive. Hard to put to words what this means to people in my position. It doesn’t hurt that there are lots of food options that are healthy and delicious. Thank you bagel bistro

Food delicious, good portions & combos, service fast & friendly, but they need to clean up the tables & floors more often after people eat because its nice to sit & eat in a clean environment & if people stay, they are likely to buy add ons. To be clear, NOT dirty, just busy so the mess is from the constant flow but still needs to be better maintained. Love the food!

Everything is so tasty and fresh. Staff is polite and friendly. Even with long lines they serve fast, accurately and stay pleasant. Very good coffee too. I am looking forward to trying the salads.

Went in to buy a quick yogurt parfait. Was only 2 other people in the store. Attempted to buy the yogurt but was ignored by the three workers there. I even actively tried to get their attention. They served 3 other people while I stood by the register looking like a fool trying to buy this yogurt. I left without any yogurt and no one cared.Edit: Long wait but I finally had their food and it is pretty freaking good. Recommend never going at prime times.

Love the bagel and cream cheese. Not a fan of the latte but the bagel made up for it.

First time there woth my family and I. This was a very good experience and the got our food and it was warm and it was fresh food! The service is great and the bagels with cream cheese are perfect they add allt of cream cheese unlike other places! They are very good! It was so good my family went twice! Thank you!

Ordered 1 dozen bagels 6 everything which were fully cooked and warm. And 6 egg everything, which were not even 1/2 cooked.Very disappointing to get home n feed guest with under cooked bagels. This was my 1st and last time at this place

So, I am actually here right now and this might be my last time. I am happy because the skinny Spanish lady is here and she moves fast. I see the owner has DELETED MY COMMENT ON HERE. Not to mention yes it was rude, that someone assumed you were an illegal immigrant but AS AN OWNER you dont comment sayingOur food is exceptional, prices comparable to all local places and I was born in Queens! You should never assume you know anything.That response is unprofessional and you need to be the bigger person. That makes me not want to go here. I have a womans book club Sunday with 22 members I was going to invite here. I will be giving that business to town bagel. Maybe Ill give this place one more shot later on in the week.

You never argue with customers. Especially not publically. I used to have a very successful restaurant that I recently sold, so I know its hard not to get defensive but, as an owner you are representing yourself poorly.The food is good depending on who makes it and pace is sometimes a problem. This just tells me they might need more training and support from the owner in some areas. ( or whoever is training them.)In response to your most recent comment: Anonymous is not my friend. Best bagel I have had so far on LI. Growing up in Brooklyn, this brings be back to my younger days without actually driving back to Brooklyn.

This shop is a tad on the pricier side, but its totally worth it. The food is fantastic and the bagels are always so big and soft.

Im giving a 2 star rating because the situation was resolved, we were overcharged almost double on our last vist. I had my 3yr old with me and it was a bit crowded but the person who took our order wrote our order down and gave me the list to hand to the cashier to check us out, my son was my main focus at the time since it was a little crowded I handed the lady my ticket and card and went on my way, checked my bank account later in the day to find I was charged double. My wife called ove we realized that we were over charged (out east about 45mins from location) was advised yes we were charged wrong but we could only come back they couldnt credit the card back so we left our plans early and went back to the location to be told it could have been canceled over the phone and just recharged. Day wasted, yes on my part I should have checked on there part they saw how much we had they should have picked up that the total was to high for 3 bagels and 3 drinks, it is just common courtesy when your running a business you look out for your customers.
