Pretty good! Had the things I was looking for, lines moved fairly quickly. I had some trouble with the cart and quarter - usually its fine but tonight it seemed stuck, so I let someone else try it, and took the next one instead.Lots of fresh produce.

Interesting store with some good deals. Not huge but bigger than it looks at first. Produce section is fairly small and they often run out of common things like bananas. Produce quality and prices are ok.The main reason to come here is their own store-brand products which are super affordable. Many things from crackers, candy, cereal, canned soups, to frozen meals. Quality is mostly good although some things are better than others (I liked the chips, didnt care for the salsa or pickles). They have most of the basics and some fun/unique products (mostly imported from Europe) but some standard things seem to be missing (I couldnt find plain, unflavored yogurt, for example). For produce Id personally rather shop the sales at standard supermarkets (Market Basket etc.) because the quality and selection tend to be better there, and the produce prices at Aldi arent significantly lower, in my experience. But I do think its a good place to stock up on packaged foods, cheese, and frozen stuff. Some quirks to know: Carts are stored outside and you have to insert a quarter to unlock one (which you get back when you return it). They dont have shopping baskets. They dont bag your stuff, they put it into another cart as they check you out and then theres an area at the front of the store where you can bag your stuff yourself. I think they sell paper bags but better to bring your own.I hate the traffic and busy roads in this area, but the large plaza has tons of parking.

Their prices for all products are surprisingly low. Not sure how they keep their prices this low and also deliver good quality products!!!Cart concept is also good.In order to use cart you required to add 1 quarter in Cart box which you will get back when you return back to its location.Good place to buy fresh fruits.

After shopping there for a while you realize that low prices aren’t as important as the shopping experience. It’s demeaning to go to a place and see people trying to fit their groceries in a cardboard box because they don’t wanna pay 0.50 cents for a damn shopping kart.Checking out is also terrible. There’s such a rush from the cashier to check you out that I almost feel that if I spend one more second inside the store I’d be escorted out.Efficiency isn’t that important. Low prices neither. We’re not in the third reich Germany!

Decent grocery store with basic food items at relatively affordable prices. Not many workers seen and needs cashiers.Bring your bags as there aren’t any unless you buy them.Rent a cart for $0.25 but get quarter back at checkout.Very limited Gluten free food items located at back of store by frozen food section.Located in a small strip mall area a few miles away from Malden Center T stop so a vehicle is needed. Not many Aldi stores in New England and located on working class neighborhoods.

I was at this ALDI today for the first time.I was disappointed by it. A very in unorganized store. Plus I saw the manager treating one of the workers horribly. She was complaining how some part of the store was a mess. That’s okay but the managers attitude was horrible borderline abusive. The way to get personnel to do their job right is through KINDNESS.

DO NOT WORK HERE. Managers do not care for you and will take advantage of you if you if you work hard. I mean, what job doesn’t, but honestly I’ve never worked somewhere where managers had no compassion for their employees. You end up doing their work as they sit around gossiping with each other. I’m glad I’m leaving this place!

Very clean and modern open space at Aldi. They were actually in the middle of cleaning the floor when I popped in to get groceries. Best prices around, better than Wal-Mart and Stop and shop. Yes it was kinda fancy I liked how the produce was in the front to the right as you come in and the breads are right after. The restrooms are to the left as you enter and the desserts are right next to the exercise equipment. From Monday to Friday theyre open from 9 am to 9 pm which is super uber great for those of us that work late! Hurray Aldi!

Great discount grocery store, I always order online, and the groceries are prepared and delivered on time. Sometimes Aldi will reuse food cartons instead of bags for packing the food, which I like, because it’s environmentally conscientious.Selection is limited, so ordering online works great for standard items like milk, pasta, and frozen pizza. It comes up a little short when you try to get a certain blend ground beef, but fortunately I’m not picky, the instacart shopper is likely to ask you for a substitute when they can’t find what you ordered in the store. For the price, it’s hard to beat.

Aldi has the best deals on organic produce anywhere. It is not a huge store so easy to go in and out. They have some weird items as it is a German-based chain. For instance several different types of sauerkraut. They have great prices and a big selection of many things, but I use it as a quick place to get produce, almond milk, Greek yogurt, hummus. I cant find all of my things here, but a lot. Did I mention that the prices are great?

So many complaints about Cashiers, but the one thing you dont know about Aldi is that the management doesnt like regular cashiers they want them to be a Freaking Machines when scannping items meaning Super Fast. I worked there and I know what happens behind doors at the end of the shift in the management office... with all that being said you shouldnt expect nice attitude from a cashier because he/she has so much pressure from their own managers and the last thing they want to hear is your silly complaints. If you see them happy and treating you well then thats your lucky day. Thats only for cashiers, notice I didnt talk about other employees who also suffer greatly from their managers.

Aldis hit-or-miss grocery shopping. I can buy hot dogs but I cant buy the Buns. You can buy tomato paste but you cant buy canned tomatoes. Flavored Waters one week plenty then theyre gone for a month. You find that with a lot of inventory there hit or miss. Also I advice checking the packages carefully several times Ive been stiffed with packaging that appears had been opened. . Purchased 8 pack of hamburger rolls only to find seven . Loaf of bread with holes in the bread obvious somebody poke a finger right in the package. Purchase three packages of bacon one package that had a bad vacuum sealed had to throw it away. For the longest time no one could beat their prices. that was the big attraction shopping there low prices. A lot of the products not brand name but a can of corn is a can of corn. Shopping there now is similar to other grocery store .I dont know if it has to do with the pandemic? but Im not saving much money anymore if at all. . I did notice a big price spike after they remodeled the store at Wellington Circle Medford Mass. . Pros and cons Pros how fast cashiers are at the checkout. The con I can never successfully finish all my grocery shopping at that store. Con you cannot call the store directly if you have an issue with your purchase .. You have to go through a email process through corporate headquarters. There saying thats cost-saving to the consumer. But how much savings is there to me ? when I have to throw groceries away.

No Name Brands is the idea. For instance take Velveta melting cheese ($11.99 at Stop and Shop, Nantucket) and compare to Melting cheese from ALDI -- same size -- for a little over $4. (same taste -- same packaging -- just no name) Stop and shop charges almost 3x more. You just have to know what to look for. I.E.... check out cocoa puffs and flour. I you want name brands, be prepared to pay name brand prices. As with all stores you have to know what you are buying and where to get the best price for that item at that particular time. You cannot expect ALDI to beat everyone at all times. If you stick with no names you will do pretty good in comparison. I am from Germany and have shopped at ALDI and I am still alive. And I like money in my pocket better than Name Brand foods.Just came back from ALDI .. got a big lopper for $6.99 .. terrific deal. And to the people rather going to Trader Joe ... it is ALDI too ..just with a slightly different concept.

Fantastic prices and the food quality is great. This location is well lit, clean, stocked well, and very convenient to other grocery stores when you need to pick up items they dont carry They also have a surprisingly great selection of vegan and vegetarian staples - not just faux meats, but also a great variety of plant milks, vegan cheese, vegan sour cream, and vegan cream cheese. Brand names come in on sale occasionally too, but the Aldi house brands are on point for taste and cost, and some I prefer them over the name brand version.
