The better package store this end of the square. What it lacks on convenience of location(the Whitlock Ave/ Burnt Hickory Rd is a struggle in itself) it makes up in price and service. Having a great wine section, a walk-in cooler and plenty of choice in liquor and spirits I recommend here for most my libations. With a good amount of foot traffic sometimes there can be a couple minute wait to purchase. Practicing current covid-19 policies, I find this the package store, Im most likely going to because of close proximity.

This is a great liquor store where you can find plenty of craft beers, both local, regional and national. The staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend this store to anyone looking for unique liquors or craft beers from porters to IPAs. Of course, you can find the major beers too.

My wife loves a particular brand of wine. So much so that shell drink nothing else. Well in conversation shed heard they have flavors. 🤯 So she hears about the magical peach 🍑and alas NO ONE had it....but Whitlock package. Clutch move🙌🏾 stopped while picking up the girls from school🚙👧🏾👨🏾‍🦱👩🏾(its conveniently located is the point🙄) like a field trip. Only you can just go TO the destination....not IN. Cuz they comply. Anyhoo, I scored the Unicorn peach flavor 🦄🍑 and flipped it ↩↪🔄and got berry flavor too🍇🍓🍒

Excellent service when I was there, very helpful and knowledgeable.. However, they could have chilled the Stella Rosa Black vs the Red or both.

Whitlock Package has quickly become my go-to package store, even though its definitely not the closest one to my house or normal route.I am a stout/porter drinker, and this place always has a great selection -- it is SO DIFFICULT to find that with stouts year-round. Whitlock Package is always bringing in new stuff, and a few of their staff are really into stouts and always willing to chat.Great selection, great service. Keep it up!

Poor selection, price charged was more than shelf label, clerk had attitude, employees yelling obscenities at each other, and manager refused to come out to discuss. I feel sorry for the owner because this may be the most unprofessional business environment I’ve ever seen.

The employee opened the door for my mother and I. Everything was nice and clean. The same employee was helpful and friendly. We went early in the morning to avoid any crowds during covid-19. And they had hand sanitizer for you to use after you touched the keypad or money or whatever.

Decent spot to find limited beer releases but more often then not, I find +6 month or older ipas on the shelf/fridge. Staff seem to eye roll at anyones displeasure.

So tonight my wife and I stopped at our local liquor store, Whitlock Package, to purchase some ginger ale for my Crown Royal. We came into the store with 2 other couples that were purchasing liquor for a get together at our house. I decided to go ahead and purchase a six pack of ginger ale in cans and after paying for the ginger ale, I informed the cashier that Im going to leave the items on the counter until the rest of my party finished their shopping. As my friends were in line to pay for their items, I decided to get mypurchased ginger ale and walk to my vehicle. A young male chases me outside and immediately asked me are you going to pay for that? I told him that I have already paid for the item. He hen then asked me do you have a receipt? I told him that I was not given one but that he can ask the cashier that rung me up. He then proceeded to tell me that the cashier is not there and I didnt have proof that I paid for the item I followed the cashier back into the store and told him to call the cashier and look at the cameras. He insisted that he didnt have time to look at the cameras and that he could get in touch with the other employee.I asked him again to look at the cameras to confirmed that I have already paid for the item and I would like an apology. He said you are not going to get one! He even told my friend that was still in line you sometime cant get what you want.I asked him if you he could provide me with his name and the owners name. He refused. In a smart ass tone, he said you can look it up. I asked him again for the information and again he refused. He then said I dont have to give you any information. I stated to him that I didnt like being accused of stealing. He said what do you expect, I see you walking out with items and I thought you were stealing it. Never once did he admit to being wrong nor did he apologize. I sat there for about 15 minutes waiting for him to watch the tape, I insisted for him to watch it. He refused.So he accused me of stealing but would not watch the tape to confirmed it. I was patiently waiting but he refused to watch it.Its sad because I have shopped there many times and now because of my moral principles and that smart ass employee, I refuse to walk into their place of business and I am a huge supporter of small local businesses that can longer support this establishment.All I wanted was an apology. Is that too much to ask for?

Great liquor store and easy going staff. These guys are just a little too pricey on their beer selection. If you can find the same beer in the kroger thats just behind them, I would go there instead.

They have a decent selection but when my boyfriend asked about their special beers the guy checking us out simply stated none that I can tell you and that the only way we could find out was on Facebook which we do not use. He acted like we were unworthy to know beca use we do not use facebook. Total Wine is right down the street, cheaper, and MUCH friendlier.

If youre looking for wine recommendations, I was told to go during the day to speak to The guy that knows all about the wines.
