My five-star rating for this EC location is based on a recent visit near closing time and every employee I interacted with (about 4) went out of their way to be engaging, upbeat, and extremely helpful. It was unexpected and highly impressive.

Unique Place, Ive always liked the Home Depot, one Busy Home Depot displays the diversity of GA. Out of all the Work I execute, Painting is among the Oldest, and I was disappointed that the Famous KRYLON brand is not carried by Home Depot, I wonder why! However I found 2 other cool items I wasnt expecting to get. Love love love that NO Matter how Crowded it may seem, theres Never long lines to Pay and Go! Fast Customer Service 🤑🥰

15-20mins wait every time for curbside pickup. Finally have to go in for pick up. Why offer a service if you can’t deliver? Low on resources at certain days and times then don’t offer curbside during that time! Sticking with Amazon prime from now on..

Employees ask if I need assistance, and I appreciate that. When I have gotten what I need, usually a cashier will motion for me to come to a register to check out, but I usually pay cash and when the cashier realizes that I have to move to another register. It seems that it is anticipated that the customer will be paying with a card.

I feel criminalized the moment I step in the door with all the surveillance at this store (people stop stealing !). The associates are usually lazy and incompetent when asked specific questions, so I dont bother. The checkout people....thanks I know how to find and scan a sku...this isnt my first rodeo. Ill flag you if I need a price check. I only go here if I absolutely need to; otherwise I will try to get it elsewhere.

I love this place this is another great store thats dangerous for my wallet. There are some fantastic employees in this store but there are also some so so employees that really dont have your best interest at heart. But if youre lucky you get the good ones and theyll go out of their way to make sure you get everything you need. But you need to set a timer on yourself at the home Depot as well because if you stay too long youre going to need a shopping cart.

They are all good, but this is the best of the local 3 or 4 Home Depot stores nearby. Friendly people, more stuff in stock. Also, Anastasios in the remodel cabinetry service department is awesome.

Its a woman in there and she thicker than a snickers lol and she was nice too, she works by the entranceway. Good customer service everytime I go.

I went here for materials, loaded 12 2x4s and quiet a few 4ft x 8ft OSBs into my cart, this whole time there been 2 HomeDepot employees just chatting away across from me, I bet the conversation was very important because it went for over 20 minutes, by this point Im done picking up everything on my own, one of the guys who was talking approaches me to ask me if I need help only AFTER I had put everything on the cart, I though is this guy serious? I just asked him to move, left all the materials and went to the HomeDepot in Kennesaw instead. From the moment I got to the lumber aisle I was asked if I needed help with anything, I was helped to put everything on the cart in less than 10 minutes, they also helped me load it into my truck. Big difference in customer service between this two locations. Do you want excellent customer service? Go to the Kennesaw location.

Normally, this is the location I go to to shop (even though store associates never come to help you when they are paged over the intercom). However, tonight I was chewed out by a bald African American (who worked in the lumber department) for putting wood on my cart 5 minutes before the store closed.He tried to verbally force me out of the store (even though 3 minutes later I spent under a $100 on supplies for my kids first backyard slide). I felt so insulted.After getting to the register, I saw other people shopping and the werent forced to leave.The cashier on the lumber side of the store told me I would have to exit out the front of the building even though I was parked on the other side of the building at the contractors entranced (hauling several 2x4s and several 4x4s across the parking lot on a rickety orange cart isnt an easy task). I tried to plead with the overweight, female African American cashier and she shrugged/threw her hands in the air and said oh well (she was a cashier on the lumber side of the store beside the contractors entrance/exit).Home Depot has a lot of cool, handy items for residential and commercial projects. But, their employees are extremely rude and arent will to help out their customers when they are overly burden with lumber/supplies and/or have questions regarding their products for sale (like the group of lumber associates standing around laughing/chatting near the registers beside the contractors entrance/exit when I tried to physically/verbally wave them down for help with products that they stocked on their shelves).Dont expect courtesy at this Home Depot. Maybe being rude in return is the only way to get help from their staff (I dont want to have to be rude)...

Matthew (@ plumbing)saved the dayWas looking for a solution, holding 4 steel bars but still not satisfied.Luckily, a gentleman in tools rental offered to help, he listened to my goal & pointed me to electrical.Need to cut the aluminum pipe into 4 sections. Asked for help from Stephen, he stated it can’t be done. I explained the web site says they’ll do it. He said no!After finding thicker pipe in plumbing and back to ask Stephen, he said he’s not in that department!Luckily, Matthew walked over. Actually, there’re two of us.Matthew quickly took out his tools and completed our need.I started buying from Home Depot in the Buford Hwy store, all associate are as good as Matthew. Good Matthew saved the day for HD.Think he deserves some recognition per my recommendation!

Huge shout out to Dulayne at Home Depot. My daughter had been begging for sand for her new sand table she got for her birthday. We had looked all over the gardening area thinking it would be there. Finally found it in the store and there was one bag left that was busted on top and bottom. He saw us walking out and asked if we needed any help. I told him the only bag left was busted and he went and checked the back (also out). He could have just said sorry but he went and asked the manager if we could have the bag that was busted. Then he helped us get it in a bucket and to the car!!! He totally saved my evening. Camille was so happy we got sand. The world needs more people like Dulayne. Best customer service I’ve received anywhere in quite awhile.

My husband and I had to come out to this location to get a ceiling fan because our location didnt have them in stock. I will say this location has a much better garden section than ours in Hiram however the set up of the store was horrible. Nothing made sense as to where it was located and it was difficult to find your way back out of the front of the store.

Confusing entrance and exit. Home Depot in general dosent have a lot of specific things but if youre just looking for general tools its ok.

Ryan Mclaughlin made my visit to this store pleasant, I was there to pick up some piping and he had to get the tractor to load it. The other associates were to busy and dismissed me, but Ryan steadfast and got me loaded.

Saw was down so they couldnt cut my bead brd sheets, they were also completely out of the $1.89 caulk, other stores have it said the sales person when ask when I finally found one. And only one register open, gees.

Do NOT go to this Home Depot if you’re a woman. You’ll get mansplained so hard. I was told by a guy there they were completely out of an oscillating tool, but I actually found it on a different aisle. They will not ask if you need help either I’ve noticed the past few times I’ve went in unless I had a guy with me. Their customer service is the worst at this location except for Zach, he’s a gem!

Love this particular Home Depot. The staff is very cheerful and eager to help. My most recent trip was made there on crutches. The associate was nice enough no carry my items to the register for me. That is what I call great customer service.

Found exactly what I was looking for.

I had a delivery from home depot. The delivery company managed to break my dryer whilst delovering the washer. Home depot wasnt all that helpful and the issue of compensation was only resolved a full month and a half later. Other than that the experience here isnt horrible but how does the delivery end up breaking my dryer when delivering the washer?

Awesome experience!! Went in there looking for a list of items for a home project. Ron was super helpful and knowledgeable. He was such a nice man too! He worked hard to find me tools that fit my needs well maintained their prices lowest. I will definitely be back and ask for him. Keep up the good work Ron!

The site tells you the aisle, bay and location. Makes it super easy.Do wanna tell the management to ask the plumber guy in plumbing dept to be more customer friendly. Large older person. Been to Merchants Walk twice over the past 8 months, once near the beginning of the 2020 mess and once near the end of 2020.Both times even though their visuals are very clear about mask wearing, it was also very clear they do not enforce it among customers or employees.- Customers clearly not wearing a mask at all or even seen with masks on them (yes many did have masks on but this location clearly did not enforce it for customers).- Employees about 30/70 has their noses sticking out and not covered at all.As far as I’m concerned, this is not a safe place to do business until they tighten things up and respect everyone’s health equally.Be the example we need Home Depot. Please?

This company misrepresents themselves. Home Depot states they will match competitor/retailer just bring the ad or show your phone. So I did and guess what they LIED. They will not match the other retailer. YOU ARE THE BIGGEST LIAR HOME DEPOT. You need to say we only match Lowes and no one else because that is the Gods Truth.

In the mad scramble to find a generator after the storm. This was the only store to have one. And the cashier was the nicest at making sure our reserved one didnt get taken

Good visit. Went in for a basin wrench that I will likely only use once. Two emoyees helped me pick out a relatively inexpensive option that they assured me would work. At the checkout the person there also helped with gift card and stuck bags. In and out easy peasy!

Any type of repair almost any kind of equipment needed Home Depot is the place to go the store like most of their stores have friendly help clean restrooms and good pricing if youre shopping at the store make sure you keep an eye on the end caps of the shelves always find great deals there

This is smaller version of Home Depot. If you need serious home improvement or repair items, go to one of the bigger stores. But this store has the best garden center of the bunch.

Someone actually helped me without me asking!! Was looking for an 8ft LED strip light. The guy that works in lighting helped me choose the best product. That almost never, ever happens when I go to Home Depot and it was certainly a pleasant surprise.I usually go on the weekend and those orange aprons just ignore you and wander around. Thats why I always know the aisle and bin number of what Im looking for before, I even head over there. The assistance was most appreciated!

My husband and I were at this location this past weekend and wanted to speak with someone about remodeling our kitchen. The person who we were meant to be speak with was just sitting there and told us to make an appointment. My husband specifically drove up and had to leave work a little early to make it there just for him to tell him to pay $99 and that was it... the appointment was at 7 he called me at 7:07 saying it was over. Are you kidding me? An appointment just to be told to pay and it lasts 7 minutes? That’s a joke.

Surprisingly it was great. The gentlemen in the garden dept lead me to plumbing where I needed to be. I was looking for a drain and I found one in the garden dept without a tag. The man sent me to isle 10 just where I needed to be, couldnt find same product but next gentleman helped me find shelf tag and even wrote upc code on my item because there was not another on shelf. Then went to check out and nice guy there too and praised the last gentleman for helping him help me check out faster by just writing a code number on my item. Ive never been helped in this way the 10 yrs Ive been shopping here so...Thank you very much and great team work too!!!

I am a single female and always treated as a non-serious customer at this store. I went in today ready to buy all new kitchen appliances with cash and was never approached by a single salesperson during the hour I was in the kitchen appliances area. But I watched salespeople immediately jump on couples and males as though their life depended on it. I guess us females with a full bank account can’t be seen as serious customers.I’ll find somewhere else to spend my remodeling dollars rather than 1950’s Home Depot. Good luck with your caveman big box store!

Great store. Staff is helpful, however not very knowledgeable as I have seen in other stores.

I just called to ask if this location had an item in stock and after being transferred to the correct department, I was told by the associate that she doesnt know the answer to my question AND she doesnt see anyone that is able to answer my question. She suggested I call back later, but we close at 8 so... those were her exact words. In the past 2 months I have spent about $2000 at this location alone and I feel that this was a horrible example of how they conduct customer service. I wish I had time to take this matter farther but this is all I will do. I caution people not to have a question when its close to closing time, you wont get any help from the cashiers in the garden section.

I was trying to handle an issue regarding my mothers refrigerator she lives in Marietta, I live in Florida. Sandy in the appliance department did an outstanding job with customer service. Handled the entire thing from start to finish for me, and was excellent with follow up. What a relief. She is an asset to the store.
