Was told that the radiator was leaking in my girlfriends 2017 Chevy Sonic, only later to find out that it was the upper radiator hose that was causing my engine to overheat and a relatively cheap fix being that it was only a loose clamp. Literally looked at the car for 2 minutes and came back and told me that it was the leaky radiator and that the job would cost me upwards of $700.Honestly, if you just drive by there, there is about 25 cars in the lot and anyone with common sense will tell you that its not a good sign with an auto repair shop if they have a lot of cars/trucks sitting out front. I will never take any vehicle i own there ever again.

These guys are the most honest mechanics I have ever met. They tell you whats wrong and they dont charge an arm and a leg to fix it.

Mike and his team are professional with quick turn around times when you need to get back on the road in a pinch. I am a do-it-yourselfer and I can’t change my oil myself at the price that they charge! I would highly recommend Schafer Auto for your next oil change or repair!

Best shop I’ve ever been to! Went for walk-in brake line work, came out with fixed brakes, an oil leak fixed, and a belt replaced all for a very reasonable price. Everyone was very friendly and helpful too. This is the only place I’ll take my car from now on.
