Yum! Coffee is delicious, they also have specialty coffees every month. Cool atmosphere, definitely a place you can go and do some work or read a book. They also have a couple of pastry options and are also delicious.

My wife and I stopped here because we are always trying different coffee shops. Since it opened, Black Rifle has been my favorite coffee shop, but I can say that I honestly feel Flying Squirrel is a worthy contender.The staff was amazing, and even made some jokes to get a smile from my 5 year old. I love the interior design.

Ive known the owner for a couple of years, when she was my boss at a different cafe, and she has talked about opening her own coffee shop for quite some time. She always spoke of it with such a passion where her eyes would light up at the thought of it. To my surprise a couple of years had passed without seeing her and I walked into the Flying Squirrel in downtown Mansfield to see my former boss, my friend, working behind the counter of her dream coffee shop! Her passion of owning her own coffee shop has translated into a coffee shop of quality and comfort. All the employees have the same care and passion for making your experience an enjoyable one.

Great place for high quality and locally roasted coffee. The location is very clean and has a good atmosphere. There are some booths that are wonderful for meeting with friends, a few seats at a bar height table looking out over the square for working or people watching. There is limited outdoor seating.All the traditional coffees like lattes and cappuccinos and fun seasonal flavors. Check it out for a superb coffee shop vibe and great local coffee.

Atmosphere is top notch, it’s spacious enough to work or social without hearing everyone else’s conversation. The coffee is good, on this trip on the Nitro with some cream. It was excellent! The coffee cake was also delicious, it was served warm and was a perfect afternoon snack. I’ll be back for more…

I will be shocked to my core if anyone ever has a bad experience here. The staff is so patient, friendly, respectful, and helpful. Their coffee products are better than Starbucks, and their prices are fair. I’m no longer a local resident but will still make the 20min drive to see their faces, have good conversations, and get something to eat and/or drink.

Its not that bad of a place. Good atmosphere for a small place. Only been there a few times. Overall, friendly staff. Ive only had one time, today in fact, where I waited for about 30 minutes or more waiting for a drink I never received and had to leave due to personal time constraints/scheduling, hence the three stars instead of four or five stars.

The Flying Squirrel - a must stop stop.If you need coffee, if you want coffee, this is the place. We found ourself in Mansfield Texas at coffee time. So we stopped in.This coffee shop is dedicated to the memory of Mr. Ed Slayton, The Flying Squirrel. It is a very warm, and cheery coffee shop. the inside has a little bit of a modern decoration and feel to it, but the precision in coffee is among the best weve had. The lead barista is the daughter of the flying squirrel.This shop has been open as of today, only 11 days. It is definitely worth side trip from wherever you are traveling in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area to stop in and say hello. Tell them Greg sent you.You will enjoy above-average service, and a wonderful environment to sit, relax, and enjoy good coffee.

I ordered a Texas Rose coffee from them and it was only filled halfway in the cup. If I’m going to pay $5.50 for a cup of coffee, I expect for it to be filled all the way to the top.Update: Amy reached out to me to afterwards and immediately apologized and wanted to make the situation right. I have to say the people are extremely friendly. They couldnt be nicer. I would like to give them 5 stars but cant. Two things...1. They seriously need to learn how to steam and foam almond milk. There were so many large bubbles that in no time at all the small amount of foam was flat. As we all know, it should be dense and velvety.2. Shortly after placing my order, some regular customers came in and they promptly forgot about my order. But when I did get it the atmosphere, pastry, and coffee (except the foam) were excellent.

New Coffee shop in Historic Mansfield and right on Main Street! Love the super cool airplane themed Atmosphere! So beautiful and the lighting is awesome. Everyone was so friendly and fun. Good Music. Good place to come in and meet up with friends chill and have a delicious coffee. Oh yeah. And Wifi of course. My usual is the Chai Latte but Had to try the grasshopper. Very tasty. Cant wait to go back.Sit in a Jet engine! Or do some work on an airplane wing all while looking over Mansfields main street and enjoying a delicious coffee. And so many awesome specials that change. Always something new there. And love the atmosphere.

First time at Flying Squirrel. The staff was great and informative. We ended up with the flight and had them surprise us with the drink mix. We will be back again…maybe next weekend!

I LOVE the customer service here. Everyone is extremely friendly and they do their very best to make everyone that walks through their doors feel special and like family. Their coffee is really good no matter what you order. They always go above and beyond to accommodate everyone with whatever their needs are.

I love this place for the Ambiance the location the people. Let me tell you I only 4 and a half Stars love it for the coffee and heres why: Im more of a weenie than I realized. I prefer to drink my coffee black and their regular Brew is a little bit darker then I prefer. Mellow it with cream, u say? Did I mention I prefer to drink it black? Knowing what I know now Im going to have to try it again and go in with a dark roast anticipation. Iff u like cool, You got to check this place out!

We greatly enjoyed our first visit to Flying Squirrel this past weekend! The location in Downtown Mansfield is very cute, and is always decked out in decor for each holiday. The service was great, and both of our drinks were delicious! We will absolutely be back soon.

This place is really fun and they make great drinks. Its all aviation themed and theres a really sweet display in the back. The staff have always been really friendly and they have a rotating menu of specials which have always been really good.

Great friendly vibe from the second you walk in. That hometown feel that you see in the movies. I got my favorite holiday drink which is a peppermint mocha and it was better then the one I get from a major competitor. Went back a few days after. I will now be a regular. I want a pumpkin spiced latte next! It has to be good here.

Where do I start? This place is awesome. I always feel welcomed here. Its the coffee shop version of Cheers. I could easily drive down my street to a drive-thru coffee shop, but instead drive 15 minutes just to come here.The staff is friendly and the owner, Amy, is a sweetheart. Take a minute to read her bio on their website.But be careful, when you do come you will most likely find yourself coming back again and again. I recommend the iced lavender latte with oat milk and a little vanilla.

Everything is good, from the Matcha Tea to the Lattes, to the special drinks! Not only are the drinks lovely, but Amy and Barbara are lovely company as well! Flying Squirrel is a local treasure, and i look forward to my trip every day :)

FINALLY!! A coffee shop in Mansfield other than Starbucks! Opens early (6am) and closes late (8-10pm depending on the night). Mary Lous is great, but they close too early. The atmosphere is amazing. Theres a chest full of games to play at your leisure. Definitely recommend this spot. Well be back soon!
