Outstanding customer service. I pulled into Walnut Creek Auto Clinic because my car was making a loud noise. I had no appointment. Spoke to Jesse about being concerned to drive it further and he stopped what he was doing to have a look and drive the car in the parking lot to hear the noise. Ended up calling tow truck as advised by dealer for repair. Jesse was kind enough to allow me to leave the key with him so I didnt have to wait an hour for the tow truck. Even told me he would stay after closing to wait for the tow if they were late. I was floored by the customer service given to me when they were not making a dime off my visit. You bet Ill make the drive to Mansfield for inspections and oil changes from now on. They have earned my business for sure. Thank you Jesse for your kindness.

I got my car inspected today and I had a really wonderful experience. If you are concerned with COVID-19 standards they are exceeding these guidelines. There was hand sanitizer available, everyone I saw had a mask on, and even the lobby was rearranged to accommodate social distancing rules. BUT that is not why I am writing this review. I dont leave reviews often but I couldnt help but think about the wonderful service I was provided by Jesse today. He was so kind and very knowledgeable. He was able to complete my car inspection and provided me with valuable information after it was completed. The interaction just felt genuine and I could sense he really enjoyed helping people. Overall, the experience was great and I would highly recommend Walnut Creek Auto Clinic for your auto service needs!

My grandfather used to own a shop similar to Walnut Creek Auto Clinic so it was very familiar even though I’ve been only once.This is a mom and pop business and it will have that sort of non-corporate feel to it.The place is clean and well kept. The folks are polite and were priced at similar level as their competitors.I will be coming back.

$199 for a battery and ~$60 for the labor to install it ?!?! Plus ~$60 for the diagnosis of bad battery, when you likely just tested the battery from my father’s description.I feel like my father was taken advantage of because he told you the urgency in getting his car running. He had just days before come back home from surgery and told you he needed the car for a doctors appointment.Shame on you for taking advantage of a situation!Edit : Within hours of posting, you contact my father, not to address the issue, but to yell at him and his wife with “WHY DID YOU POST THIS REVIEW?” .... well, there wouldn’t be a need to post this review if you would have addressed the issue when he first called you about it.How about you treat your customers fairly and listen to honest feedback about your business practices instead of just saying “that’s how it is” ?

Chris take a happy pill will you?2009 Town and country Rattling noise over bumps diagnosed quickly no charge. Parts ordered and installed in a few hours with a ride home while I waited.Really like the limousine courtesy service.Thanks again.

I was charged $28 for the switch on my traction control $125 for the hours work and $99 for the diagnostic equipment. It would seem to me that diagnostic equipment would be a part of their tool list considering todays vehicles are mostly electronic. An Electrician wouldnt charge you for using his voltmeter! I wont be going back!

I had my son take his truck here because of a noise in the front right tire. They seemed to be very nice to deal with so I was encouraged. After looking at it they gave us an estimate of $4443.63. I told them I could not afford that and they offered a credit line that I could apply for.I had my son go back up there to look at what was wrong for that price. They did have it up on a hoist and showed him what there were LOOKING at.I picked up my son and said I would have the vehicle towed home. Once we were both home they called on estimated time of the pick up of truck. When I told them they said how are you going to pay for the $95 charge? What??? I should not have to pay that for just an inspection. They did not mention that to either of us at any time.Then after getting other estimates they were over 50% higher than other places for the same work. DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE THERE BECAUSE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR DOING NOTHING. AND IF THEY DO ACTUAL WORK YOU WILL BE PAYING OVER DOUBLE!!! Very very disappointed.

Took my vehicle in for 100k service last week. They called me in about an hour with an estimate for about $900 and explained to me all the recommended services . I thought it was a little high - more than what I had expected so I called the dealer and asked them for an estimate. The dealer quoted me $1500 for the same service. I had Walnut Creek do the service for me. I was very pleased with the service that they provided me.

We have gone to the same shop for years, but recently decided to switch after some difficulty with our old shop. We decided to try someone local and brought them one of our cars. They soon received two more. They have been very fair and deliberate when trying to address and issue with one of our cars. They are a clean shop and will continue to earn our business.

Incorrectly diagnosed the repair. The Ball joints they installed on my Sons vehicle came apart twice leaving him stranded. Thank God he wasnt going at a high rate of speed. They used two different ball joints both failed. I diagnosed the problem myself and found that the steering knuckle hole where the ball joint connects to was stretched causing vibration and dislodging the ball joint. They didnt inspect the issue like they should have. Said they would not warranty their own work because my vehicle had other steering issues. I should have packed it up then and left when he said that. They even accused me of tampering with their work. Why would I do that after paying them over $700 to fix the problem. Not happy at all with this place. They didnt even try to make it right.

They did not do the work they were paid to do. They wanted to charge 1400 for a part we were able to get somewhere else for 350. When confronted, the owner became irate and began yelling and cussing instead of handling the situation professionally. Zero Stars should be given.

I took my car here last year for a rattle noise my car was making....they said it was struts, they charged me 1,147 for struts and sway bar link, which i was told i was way over charged. It still made the same noise as before. I took it back and they said they need to replace lateral arm, left and right.....another 479.43 . It still made the same noise.I took my car to get my oil changed the other day (Not to Walnut Creek)it was one of the lube places... and mentioned to them about the noise it was making....they found the source of the noise....it was something that was rubbing underneath....they bent it away .....NO MORE NOISE... NO CHARGE. Walnut creek Auto Clinic ripped me off of 1,500. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY.

Every time I come here the staff seems miserable. Not very friendly. Customer service is key for a successful business. Managment needs to handle this.

This shop diagnosed my vehicle quickly, quoted a very fair price down to the sales tax before starting the repair, and finished everything quickly. The staff was considerate and accommodating.

While the mechanic was kind to deal with, it was the fact that they entirely FAILED to detect that the massive hesitation our car was having was not due to the CO2 sensors in the car being bad (which they werent) but it was because the spark plug wires had micro-cracks in them which was allowing the spark to jump across from wire to wire and screw up firing order. The mechanic had our car overnight for diagnostics, and quoted us $1,500 to fix the issue. Given we could not afford that, my husband took the car home and put on his thinking cap. He sat staring under the hood, running over every single part of the car he could until it got too dark to see anymore, but he still kept trying. It was then that he suddenly noticed a spark, in the dark, and realized exactly what was going on. The next day, he replaced all the wires, and much to our delight, the problem was completely resolved. Here we are 200,000 miles later, and the car is still going strong, and has no problems with the O2 sensors as was suggested before.So, be sure to get second and third opinions before taking their word here. It appears they depend heavily on machine read outs rather than mixing in a little common sense to problem solve mechanical issues. This can lead to costly mistakes and wasted funds.

Havent let me down yet. Ive used them a number of times. Ive taken two makes of cars to them so far.

I was very disappointed for being over charged..$81.77 for a simple oil change.....lots of hidden charges......$29.99 for an oil change plus $10.00 extra to put it in...extra oil because my car magically takes more oil than the average car...$25.00 for an air filter and extra labor to put it in...BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its rare to find a place that is both overpriced and does poor work... I brought my daughters Acura in to get the window fixed & because tires low...they wanted $400 to repair expensive, so when i declined they offered financing charged me $47 just to look at it & wanted another $50 to tape the window closed (its raining)Left hood not completely closed & didnt bother to air the tires.Needless to say I wont be coming back
