The experience here was amazing. Tim was the first to walk me through the store and dial in what I was looking for all the while explaining vocabulary and methods to help me understand what I was buying with no pressure to buy. I shopped around at other stores but none matched the kindness and depth of knowledge I saw at TQ. I came back and worked with Tom who had the exact same demeanor as Tim (everyone there does to be honest. The staff is the best in Madison and it’s not even close). I ended up with a beautiful custom Verragio. Price was exactly where I wanted to be, the ring was gorgeous and arrived very timely. They do a good sale every November as well.

We are not very classy people, so I feel kind of sheepish walking into a jewelry store. Both times we came into TQ Diamonds I felt valued right away. The first time, about 4 years ago, we were asking to resize a grandmothers ring that I had given to my oldest daughter as a purity ring. The band was super thin, and they expressed some doubts upfront, but they did an amazing job! The second time, we brought in a ring we purchased online for my second daughters purity ring. Again, the ring was too big. They knew the ring type, that it was only plated rose gold, so the better option for us would be to try to exchange it for a different size. They cleaned it up for free so wed have the best chance of exchanging it. At the same time my oldest daughters ring was getting too small for her and they stretched it to a larger size on the spot, no charge! So thankful for these people! I hope we can make a larger purchase here someday.

Stunning ring, very happy. I recently inherited 2 diamonds that were my grandmothers, and took them to Tom at TQ. I had a good idea of what I wanted, but did the smart thing and listened to the expert. I could not be happier with the finished ring!! TQ is an amazing shop, We worked with Mike, and he was just awesome...This shop truly focuses on their customers needs, wants, and budgets as opposed to the Upsell. It is an old school sales excpierince (In a good way) and I cant say enough good things about them. No upselling, no used car tactics...they will find you exactly what you want, in the budget you need, with out being pushy.

TQ is our only jeweler. The initial design of our wedding ring many years ago, still draws admiring looks from friends. Their policy of cleaning all our rings and earrings is another plus.Recently, a large diamond was damaged and TQ worked with our insurance company to find an exact replacement that satisfied all parties.TQ might be nearly thirty miles away, but the drive is worth the value we have consistently received. If I could give TQ 10 stars I would. I went in looking for an engagement ring for my now fiancée without knowing anything about rings or where to even begin. We had an amazing experience at TQ Diamonds custom designing my fiancees engagement/wedding ring with Jessica Chavers. We came in with a picture and an idea and she created the exact ring we envisioned. The process was fast, thorough, honest, and we got to take part in each step the whole way through. First she drew the design, then found and priced the maker, then checked in with us and we got to approve this step with a finished 3D diagram with exact pricing and sizing, then we got to see the ring once completed as a wax mold for final approval (which all happened within 2ish weeks), and then to get the final product took about 10 days. The ring is better than we could have imagined and her customer service and design skills were exceptional.

From the very beginning my experience was highly positive. To make a very long story short—due to COVID the ring I originally ordered from a different retailer was unable to process. I canceled that order and found the exact ring with TQ Diamonds. What a wonderful experience I had at T.Q. Diamonds! First I searched for sterling silver jewelry repair online. Then T.Q. popped up with a great review and near my house! I online chatted with Ted to determine if they could help me. He encouraged me to stop by and he would take a look! Long story short I stopped by with an antique silver necklace with a turquoise stone that I needed shortened in length. Next, I brought a silver ring with 3 connecting bands that had broken.Ted looked them over helped me determine my desired new length of my necklace. Then explained the process by which they repair the silver in detail.I left them there for repair and had them back in 4 days. The price was fair and the service surpassed all my expectations! I experienced exceptional service at TQ Diamonds. I have a wedding set that belonged to my mother in-law. Its at least 55 years old. I took it to Kay Jewelers in East Towne Mall to have it cleaned. They inspected it and found that it had some loose diamonds and that one diamond was chipped. I looked at it myself under their microscope and I couldnt see the chip, but I did see that the stones were loose. The salesperson told me the stones just needed to be tightened. I agreed to have the work done and left my rings with them. They said my rings would be sent out and would be back in about 10 days. After I got home, I started to feel uneasy about leaving them there. I just didnt feel good about them being sent out so I went back and got them.I did some research online, looking for other local jewelers, and came across TQ Diamonds. They had a lot of good reviews so I called them. They said they would have to see my rings (of course) to determine what work, if any, needed to be done to them and that all the work they do is done in-house.I brought my rings in on Tuesday, April 4th and was greeted by Jess, who brought them back to their jewelry repair person. She said the prongs were very worn down and needed to be retipped, they couldnt be tightened. This didnt completely surprise me because after getting my rings back from Kay, I asked my mother in-law if she ever had any work done on them and she told me she never had the rings inspected or even cleaned while she had them. The repair person at TQ Diamonds also said there were no chips on any of the stones.This morning, Jess called me to say my rings were ready (yes, four days!). They look beautiful. I am so happy I brought them to TQ Diamonds. They look brand new. Jess was extremely helpful and friendly. I will be bringing all my future jewelry needs to TQ Diamonds and the next time Im looking to buy a new piece of jewelry, I know where Ill be going. Thanks to Jess and the wonderful person that restored my wedding set!

I can see from a glance at some of the other reviews here that the outstanding service I received at TQ Diamonds was no exception. I worked with Mike to pick out a diamond engagement ring. Simply put, he was friendly and fantastic. Over the course of several visits and various email exchanges, he offered excellent and clear advice, was patient with someone (me) who was interested in the details of the bands and the diamonds, and was very accommodating, offering to come in to the shop on his days off to suit my schedule. He listened to the feedback I gave him and adjusted his recommendations accordingly. When I asked to see a band they didnt have in the shop, he made every effort to have it delivered asap. His help and advice in selecting a diamond was also invaluable, and again he went out of his way to bring in diamonds that werent already in the shop because he thought itd help me figure out what I wanted (or rather, what I thought my fiancee would want). And it did! Mikes a salesman and he knows how to treat a customer well, but I could tell he was genuinely interested in helping me create a terrific engagement ring. Had I ultimately opted to purchase a ring at another location, Im sure he would have sincerely wished me well, even after all the time he spent working with me. Janelle made my experience with TQ Diamonds so amazing! My mother recently passed away, and I was looking to have one of the diamonds from her wedding ring set into a ring that I could wear every day. At first, I wasnt having any luck finding anything, but Janelle really spent a lot of time helping me find something. We ended up finding the PERFECT ring, and it only took about two weeks to come in. The day my ring arrived, Janelle called me so I could bring in my mothers wedding ring, and my ring was done about three hours later. I could not have had a better experience here. I purchased my engagement set from Kay- which was a huge mistake to begin with. After one day of wearing it, one of my main diamonds became loose. I guess it happens right? I took it into Kay because I purchased the warranty as well. The disrespect I received made me want to put my ring in the box and not even wear it (to keep the stone from getting lost). They told me it would be 2 weeks to get it fixed. Absolutely not.I did some research and found TQ. I called ahead asking about the express same day service they offer, and if I could bring my ring in. They said yes.I drove from about 45 minutes away to take it there. After the experience I had with Kay I was hesitant about any jeweler. Sally, the store manager, put me to ease. I haven’t felt more comfortable at a jewelry store ever. She wasn’t trying to sell me on anything. She listened to exactly what I said and responded appropriately. She saw I was scared and afraid of leaving my ring, and she even brought out the goldsmith that would be working on my jewelry to talk to me. Again, someone else who made me feel not only welcomed, but like my jewelry was precious, even though I didn’t purchase it there. I decided to leave it and was called after about 3 hours with it being ready. They explained exactly what was done, checked all of the diamonds in both of my rings (I have A LOT), cleaned them and handed them to me. I am finally wearing the ring that I was so excited to have. AND the best part- it only costed half of what they quoted.They have earned a customer for life. I will always take my jewelry there from this moment forward, and will now only purchase from them as well. I have started the process to add another band already, and couldn’t be more excited.I highly recommend them. I am a very skeptical person, I don’t trust very many people. But, if I ever had to leave my ring somewhere again, that is the only place it is going. Their repair process from beginning to end, along with their customer service is superior to any jewelry store I have been to.By the way- all of their repairs are done in house, by very experienced and knowledgeable goldsmiths.

I went to TQ Diamonds because I purchased a diamond ring at a wholesaler and needed to make sure it was of good quality and needed an appraisal. I met with Kristyn and she was so wonderful. She never once wavered to help me even though I did not purchase my ring there. Not only did they provide me with an appraisal, they made my diamonds more secure in the settings, assured me it was of good quality and told me how beautiful it was! I love this place, I took in a crucifix to be repaired, which I had damaged pretty good. I had been hiding it from my kids for a month or so, they got it for my birthday years ago and I wear it all the time its my favorite piece of jewelry. I didnt think it could be fixed but I gave it to the nice woman Janelle who works there and she gave it back to me on the day she promised it would be fixed and it looked brand new, I couldnt even tell where it had been damaged. Anyway great people, awesome service, inexpensive and some real old school quality work, thats rare these days.

Tim helped me pick out the perfect engagement ring for my fiance. We are from Baton Rouge, LA. and I searched all over the country for Verragio dealers and TQ Diamonds had the best reviews by far. After dealing with them, I can definitely see why! They are friendly, highly knowledgeable, and they dont pressure you into something you dont need. They take your wants and your budget and match you up with the perfect ring. Tim kept me informed at all times during the order about status, shipping info, and even sent me a picture before the ring was even made so I could see what my custom design would look like. Tom was fantastic start to finish, allowing my now-fiancee to really dig in and narrow her picks to a few great options. After searching several other locations in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan, I came right back to them and it was easy to find exactly what we wanted within my price range. I am absolutely no expert on the process, but Tom made it all a breeze. Great ring, excellent service and a priceless experience when I finally popped the question. This was no easy feat, as I live in Michigan, and the trip back to the store for center stone selection was limited on time. I gave Tom some details on what I was looking for, and when I came to meet with him he already had the perfect diamond selected. It took about an hour to have it set and everything was wrapped up with a complimentary bottle of wine (which was delicious!). I had my engagement ring resized here and I came back to get my wedding ring. They knew exactly what to do with my engagement ring, which was unique but way to big. So when it came to picking my wedding ring I knew I wanted to get it there. They went out of their way to find something that would fit my engagement ring, but we just couldnt find it in the store so we decided to get it made. Once again, they did a great job. My wedding ring is beautiful and it matches my engagement ring perfectly. They are the best around!

I met with Kristyn regarding my new antique ring that my husband bought for me in Europe. She was professional, knowledgable and easy to talk to. She helped me to understand many issues related to sizing my ring which was complicated due to an adjustable shank that it came with, its conditional issues and how they relate to the value. When I was looking for engagement rings for wife, I searched around the Madison area for the best-rated shops and narrowed it down to a few (TQ being one of them). I want to begin my review by telling a little bit about myself. For starters I am 22 years old and was in my last semester of college at UW Madison and knew I wanted to propose. I knew nothing about diamonds or ring shopping outside of the basics of the 4 Cs. I was prepared to walk into a diamond store expecting car salesman tactics. I walked into TQ expecting that, but received the polar opposite. Those working there were so friendly and amazing. The first time I went there, I told Ted that I didnt really know what I was looking for and for 3 hours he educated me on diamonds, the 4 Cs, and even took out diamonds for me to try and analyze them myself. Not once did I ever feel pressured to buy, but knew right then I was going to buy my ring here. A couple months later I made my purchase and proposed just a couple of days ago. The ring was absolutely stunning and my fiance loves it! We wont go to another jewelry store if we dont have to! Dont go anywhere else but TQ Diamonds, you wont be disappointed!!!!

We worked with Tom at TQ Diamonds to pick out an engagement ring. He was fantastic- he let us take our time, go over various options, and was willing to offer his input when asked. Otherwise he didnt try to push anything; he just provided us with information and let us choose. When it came to picking a diamond, Tom only had 2 in stock of the size we were interested in. Two days later he called us to let us know he had obtained 8 more for us to look at. I would not recommend going anywhere else.

What a great place & very helpful staff. Weve been in a couple of times after our wedding when pregnancy meant my wifes rings were no longer fitting. Their master jewelers resized her rings at a reasonable price & rather quickly. After she broke her rings one night putting away the dishes, Mike and the jeweler staff quickly accommodated the repair & had them back to us in no time. Their inventory is beautiful, theres no pressure to buy & their team is most helpful. Well be back.

Wonderful jewelry store with wonderful people. My engagement ring has been in my family for generations so I was nervous when I needed to hand it over to be resized - we worked with a couple of different sales people and they made me feel very comfortable with the process, and the results were great. We came back for our wedding bands - Sally was very helpful and patient, and never pressured us to buy more than what we had budgeted for. When one of the bands came in differently than we had expected, they fixed it (and resized it!) free of cost and without question. I recommend TQ to all of my friends - I 100% will be returning in the future.

My amazing Wife bought me a watch for Christmas. Normally I dont review products or places, but in the case of TQ Diamonds they deserve a good mention. In everything that counts they excel at it. My experience with TQ Diamonds was Excellent!I live out of state and only worked with TQ Diamonds long distance. I found a particular ring I wanted on their website. The price was already listed lower than anywhere else I had seen the setting online.I already owned a diamond with a different cut than the diamond pictured online and they were able to order a setting custom made for my diamond and install my jewel at no additional cost. I sent them my jewel and the day they received the setting, they put the diamond in the setting, appraised the completed ring, and shipped it to me the same day.I called and was helped by Salley and Tom and received excellent service!! They were knowledgeable, responded quickly to many phone calls and emails, and were very friendly and patient throughout the whole experience.I was on a tight deadline due to job restrictions and TQ delivered quickly, on time, and even agreed to use FedEx at my request for the overnight delivery.My Fiancé loves the ring and I was able to get the exact ring I wanted within my budget.

I had a great experience working with the owner on a somewhat complicated engagement ring. In the end all of the details of my request were taken care of and the ring turned out looking better than anything I could have found elsewhere. The staff and the owner were very diligent in getting quotes and stones in for review and they were very open to dealing with provided stones as well. I would highly recommend this store over the Jareds Diarrhea of Jewelry or any of the mall kiosks for that one-of-a-kind treatment and end product.

Sales guy was extremely nice and not pressuring at all but gave false information about returning and when I called to confront magically no one wanted to return my calls and or talk to me. When I called to talk to someone about my issue the women was the rude one and I can not remember her name. I will continue to come to you guys and recommend you to any one I know. Mike - Your knowledge and experience of diamonds is incredible!When my wife lost a diamond that dangled from a pendant of hers, our insurance company was ready to somehow suspend the new diamond using glue. You insisted that the new diamond had to have a stud drilled into its top with a special drill to make it dangle like the original diamond.You even did the research to find the manufacturer of the piece in Hawaii that had this special drill.Above and beyond the call of dutyThats Mike

I took my eyeglasses here for repair. A quality repair job was done for about $50 as opposed to spending $300 to $400 on a new set of eyeglasses. This is a high quality laser welding repair, and I highly recommend the service. You will get excellent customer service from the people at TQ Diamonds.

So Im googling tacori engagement rings and TQD pops up. I currently live in Las Vegas so I was hesitant about pulling the trigger on something of this magnitude without getting my hands or eyes on it. So I figured if nothing else get some pricing on tacori.Jessica from TQD helped me from the start. Friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy, gave me lots of options and time to sort it out. Im not the easiest of customers but she is the best at what she does. I gave her some of the ideas I had and gave her the green light to put a ring together.In the end and in comparison to 4 other jewelers I contacted, Jessica got me a bigger stone, higher quality, and the tacori setting. My fiance says she loves me more than the ring, but by her reaction, its probably a tie.
