Great place i made my office a makeover and i took somethings from old layout of my office and i brought all my new stuff from here. It looks great. I love the color pink and they sold just the right stuff in order for me to boost it with my color pop PINK! Plus headed over to the food side and bought kids snacks n drinks n good eats to kick off our spring break!!!

They were out of a lot of things that I needed.

I love the food. They have heart cooks. Heart waiter and a smile.

This place really has gone bad. Its always dirty, messy, the store has a weird smell, and the employees are rude. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting! The womens room leaves much to be desired and theres never any paper towels. The dispensers been broken for, quite literally, years. DO NOT SHOP HERE if you value your health!

3 stars because there is always only one person checking people out so the wait is always a long one. Also if you need help, your out of luck because it seem the only worker is the one checking out. Nice selection of items tho. Fresh produce is sold here. Spacious aisles. Plenty of parking outside.

Staff members here are very helpful. Couldnt find product I was looking for. I asked for help from a lady putting up merchandise. She left her area and walked me through several other ailes where it might be. We found it. I was checked out immediately. I couldnt have found it without her help. Very nice store.

I really like this place best of all because they have some of everything.

I specifically went in to purchase a bag of oranges. Walking in the door, the produce department was just to the left and the store smelled light rotten oranges. I turned around and walked out. No one wants to buy fruit that already smells like its old and bad. Hopefully they will not do that again.

Its a pretty clean place to shop. A variety of things to buy from clothing to food to car and home essentials. Fairly good prices too, comparable to other local stores. The staff was very friendly and not at all pushy. Would recommend for quick trips.

It has a great variety of produce and refrigerated items. Its a great alternative to Walmart. Although it still has a low variety of clothing options. Still higher prices. Although its okay if you just dont want the crowd of Walmart. But cashiers are poorly available and no one helps them. Smaller dollar generals give more help to there cashiers than this. That was there biggest flaw.

Customer service usually excellent. Store could be adjusted for better access to cough drops. Went with stuffy head and cough looked for long time finally found them hanging at floor level. Difficult to see having to bend over to see them got very dizzy. Made the suggestion to the clerk that they might want to put the cough drops up so people dont have to bend over in their condition to get them. Her response was we have to put them where corporate says too.CVS has them at eye level for the next time I am in need of them. Its a suggestion that would improve service.

Need to hire more stockers for the shelving.

I luv dollar general. All of em.. but this one is more of a stop n shop grocery store. Which is very convenient for me Its close to my home and good prices on the meats. I can honestly go in and do all of my shopping for my home.

Went here recently and was followed around the almost EMPITY store while a security check was called twice and a manger went to each aisle me and my husband were in to do literally nothing had a ladder in his hand and everything and did nothing then someone made it to the register just as we went to check out. We can’t even shop and be black at the same time. What a shame

Very clean & orderly. I came across town, mainly for the Corn on Cob priced very low & Sweetest weve had this year. The watermelons were right size, Georgia Grown & Pretty Firm Red Meat, flavorful Sweetest Ive had this year & I love watermelon, been buying since All Grocery Stores started selling them. The Young Man Cashier was so Friendly & fast& efficient

Its not much that I can say about this Dollar General. I just went in to purchase a few items and I was on my way. I interacted with one employee who was helpful and had great customer service skills. The store was clean and and items was easy to find. I also must add that this Dollar General have a great selection of grocery items as well.

I like shopping there it bigger.

Its easy in and out, but they are frequently out of meat products. Some things are cheaper at Walmart, however its so much easier going to the dollar market. I buy a lot of my household goods and otc meds there.

Everything was good but they had 6 to 9 workers walking around but only one on the register and 7 people in line.

They had one in Jackson. I am so glad they have one in My new place of Macon!

Its a new store, I was in Macon and I saw alot of Family Dollar Stores, but I wanted to Shop at a Dollar General Store, which i am very familiar with and their products.

Great service, clean store, easy to find things and a over-all great experience.

They usually have what Im looking for occasionally they will be sold out. They have a cute selection of decor items cheap as well. And for the most part the staff is friendly and the store is clean.

I was surprised with the name brand food selections and the low prices. Comparing prices to the walmart and Kroger the prices of the condiments are certainly more affordable. And their milk prices and hamburger and hotdog buns are also fresher and more affordable here.The one thing I did not like was when I was walking around with my 13 year old child, every person that walked past us smelt like straight loud weed. I understand the store cant really run people off that smell like weed. But come on folks you dont have to toke on your blunts and then toss the roaches on the ground as you walk in the front door.

This is a huge Dollar General, and its always very clean and up to date; beware, the Dollar General MARKET is not quite the same as a regular Dollar General. A lot of their mark downs do not apply as they do at a regular DG

Shelves are no longer stocked. Used to be much better. Hope they get it together soon. Hated when Big Lots closed . Would be sad if they close too for bad management.

They only keep the small items register open and people with carts full of stuff tend to cause big delays for people just stopping buy to grab one or two things. Why not keep a normal cash register open all the time and open the small items register when you see people trapped in line with only a few items? Frustrating.
