Great outdoor shopping and the staff was wonderful!

I came to Macon to find a kayak and there seemed to be a shortage at all of the major sporting good stores. I came into Ocmulgee Outfitters about 15 minutes before closing and was thrilled to see several good kayaks in stock. The saleswoman Annie was very informative and helpful about the different brands of kayaks. I ended up buying the Perception Tribe 9.5 Salsa and have taken it out a couple of times so far. The store was clean, set up nicely and again, staff was informative and very friendly!I was happier to shop locally rather than a chain store, too.
