I recently bought a new set of all terrain tires. Toyo open country AT3s to be exact. Before I found my way to discount tire I had gotten my tires valences by two different tires shops that were very well known. I was not satisfied with the ride quality I was getting from the tires so I decided to go and try out discount tire because I’ve heard of their road force Balancing system. I was very pleased I had an appointment at 8:30 AM Saturday and I was out the door at 8:50AM. I was able to watch everything the guys were doing through a glass window. Everyone was very nice and professional. I am one that is very particular about my vehicles and this truck specifically. I will be continuing to come to this tire shop and make them my primary. It is about an hour drive for me but it is completely worth it.

The wife had a screw in her tire, took about 40 minutes but was a free patch or plug saving her money. Warranty is good!

My experience with discount tire co. Has Always been a good experience for over 25 plus years in several States. The staff at each location have provide excellent service, competitive prices, clean waiting rooms. The staff are always working and not on their personal phones. Just an all-around good company.👍👍👍

I want to start by saying that until today, I have been using only Discount Tire for years for all new tires, new wheel purchase and all maintenance of my tires. Today I stopped by due to low tire pressure and it was discovered that I had a nail and needed a patch. I previously paid for the road hazard on all tires I purchased and there was only ONE car in the bays. I was told it would be a FOUR HOUR wait and that I could come back at 4:45pm (this was around 12:30pm). How am I supposed to leave & come back with a HOLE in my tire? I am a home health nurse and told the guy behind the counter this and that I was a loyal customer for years, but he totally blew me off!! I went around the corner to the competition and they had more business than Discount Tire, yet said it was no problem, a quick fix and got right on it and I was fixed and gone in less than 20 minutes. Sorry Discount Tire, but you failed today in a really bad way. My experience today changed my entire opinion of this place.

An impressive operation. Some very knowledgeable tire technicians. Reason for 4 stars rather than 5: they can get very busy, so you may have to wait after you arrive, even if you have an appointment. Best, perhaps, to leave the vehicle with them? Once they get to you, they are quite efficient.

I was visiting for my birthday but also for an interview. I noticed my tire thread was low so I decided to browse around for some new tires. I work in hospitality so I look for great deals and awesome service . Discount Tires came up and I read several reviews about how this business had the best tire deals and some wonderful employees who give excellent service. Well for my entire interaction with Discount Tires they did not disappoint. From the initial phone call I made to them to the very end of my service. This place exceeded my expectations. The facility was very clean and had covid precautions in place. Employees were being flexible to help each other out and handle the needs of the customers. They all spoke smiled and appeared happy to serve. I will definitely recommend their services. Keep up the great work Discount Tires of Macon team!!

Great service. Just a pain getting a flat tire repair because they want you to make an appointment. Kind of hard to plan a nail in the tire.

I spent a month trying to get my tires fixed at Raffields, only to be brushed off until *next Wednesday. I finally got up the gumption, and used a can of fix a flat to come here after hours. They stayed with me after closing to make sure I was taken care of. Good to know someone cares here in Macon, I am a customer for life.

I had a low tire pressure show up and drove in spur of the moment, they pulled me right in, fixed my tire pressure without any charge. This place is awesome! You will always have my business!

I had a very good experience. Bought 4 new tires for my car. I called ahead and the salesman took his time in explaining things and looking up prices. I didnt have an appointment and it was a busy day for them so they told me it would be a long wait, which I appreciated them letting me know in advance.Due to COVID they are doing curbside check-in, so you just pull into the parking lot and wait in your car and a salesperson will assist you. I was was allowed to sit inside and their waiting room is very well set up for social distancing. Their door was left open (allowing for better circulation I assume), chairs were placed more than 6 feet apart, hand sanitizer bottles were available everywhere, and all employees were wearing masks.I could tell they were very busy but they seemed to treat every customer with patience, politeness, and respect. Even with the big sign in the parking lot that says CURBSIDE CHECK-IN WAIT HERE, people still came inside and had to be ushered back to their car. The employees never seem rushed or stressed out even though they were running in and out of the store all day.I was extremely impressed and satisfied by my experience and everything that I witnessed while waiting. I will definitely be coming here again for my car needs.

I came in from having a flat tire knowing I needed 2 tires any way. Long story short I was in and out less then 1 hour. Great service and great price. I will be back for my 4 new tires for my Chrysler Crossfire. Very Happy!!! Highly recommend

We had a bad belt in our tire while traveling. Even though they were very busy they fit us in. In less than an hour they replaced tire, shined all the tires and sent us safely on our way! Lonnie not only inspected our tire, he replaced the tire personally! Highly recommend this company!

They are still practicing social distancing and rather they drive your car in the garage the ask you to do it with their guidance of course. They took the time inspecting and rotating my tires. Definitely will come back and use their services again!

I went to get new tires on Saturday, May 30th. This was my first time getting new tires on my own so i was nervous and not quite sure how the process goes. I called in advance and talked to a gentleman who walked me through step by step on how to figure out the perfect tire for my vehicle within my price range. After our conversation he set up me up with an 11:45 am appointment and I felt very confident with my decision on the tires I had purchased. When i arrived the store was packed with people and I was worried that i was going to have to wait a long time. However when i walked in and told them i had an 11:45 am appointment i was told to wait in my car and someone would be right with me. Phillip came out minutes later and had all my information about my appointment and the tires i had purchased online. I pulled my car in and the two gentlemen immediately started working on my vehicle. I arrived at the store at 11:45am and my tires were completed at 12:09pm. Despite the store being extremely busy the service was absolutely fantastic. I have to commute 50 mins to the nearest discount tires but the reputation and service has never let me down. Best tire shop ever.Im partial because Im married to the tire guy, however with that being said my entire family and extended only uses discount tire. I trust their knowledge and expertise with my vehicle. I also trust that they have the best prices around. I can go to any Discount across the nation and expect the same service as well. They really put in a lot of hardwork for their customers and truly want to see you safe on the road.

Let me start of by saying if I could give a 0 star I would. My daughter evacuated the Georgia coast due to mandatory evacuation. She is a military dependent whos husband is deployed, traveling with 2 children (3 years and 1 year). Her tire lost 15 to 20 lbs of air so I had her go to the closest discount tire as I have always had good service there (at alternate locations) and the tire repair is usually free. However the individual that help her at this location, while he was friendly, was completely incompetent and basically stole from a military member dependent in need. He supposedly check the tire and said he couldnt find anything wrong, filled the tire with air and told her that will be $10 for looking at the tire, but he wouldnt charge her for the air. She paid as not to cause a scene, but when I heard of this I called my local discount tire (in Texas) to make sure my expectations were correct that they should have looked at the tire and repaired if need for free, and air is always free. The manager assured me this was the case and that this is a company wide policy not just Texas. We proceed to look the ticket up in the system and come to find out there is no record of the service which tells me this technician may have just pocketed the $10.I would of had problem with the $10 if he actually took care of my daughter and grandchildren in their time of need. But he did nothing. She then went to Wal-Mart service center were the immediately found the problem, and also charge her $10, but this time the tire was repaired.I realize this may be an isolated instance, However, I will find it hard to ever use any discount tire again or recommend them to friends and family after this type of behavior, completely unacceptable.

I have 5 vehicles that are serviced by DT. I am a very loyal customer and have had referrals who became customers. My young daughter had a tire that was in need of repair or replacement. I explained this to the man at the counter. I did not want her to continue to drive the vehicle as it was a hazard. I was told I needed to make an appointment and that it would be 2 days before they could get to it. The fact that I was treated so flippantly when they werent even very busy just bothers me to the point that I will no longer be a customer of DT. Nor will the referrals.

He took extra time to answer all of my questions and explain everything. The process of switching the tires was quick and painless.Great overall experience!

Great service! Assessed, instructed, sold, installed and right back on the road again in about an hours time. Trustworthy out of town service with a hometown location.

I cannot recommend this store enough. I had a screw in one of my tires that was over 2 inches long and they patched my tire and tested it before giving my car back. After determining that the tire was still leaking, they ordered me an exact match for my tire that will be here by early next week. The Assistant Manager, Phillip, was so patient and kind with me during my many phone calls back home. I felt so comfortable and well taken care of at this shop. 10/10 would return and use them again.

Best place to get tires replaced! Prices are reasonable, and the replacement certificates are so handy! I have checked other tire-replacing places including my Toyota dealership and all them offer replacement warranty on pro-rated basis. I have had to use the warranty to replace 3 of my tires in last 4 years so would highly recommend.The customer service couldn’t be better! Free tire rotations, air checks and flat tire service. What more can you ask?

I want to commend the staff at this particular store! They got me in and out in a very short amount of time. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Mike the store manager, was even more helpful for me today. I was told by Phillip yesterday while getting my tires put on my truck, that there was a warranty replacement on one of the tires. I was like, oh okay... so I get some money taken off my bill.. He said it should be reflected on my invoice from Dicount Tire Direct.. I was like okay .. I do not remember seeing that. Will check it out.. Checked it out this morning, it was not there.. Called the store & Mike the manager got it straightened out for me and they took one of the tires off my bill. I am a definite repeat customer.... Thank you Phillip and Mike, and the young lad who did the job of putting the tires on my truck.... :)

7-2020 I went in to get a tire fixed when I was done I was ready to pay and found out they did it for free, give these guys a chance at your tire business.Previous post - I want to give an extra gold star to Calvin and the crew in Macon. I have bought tires here many times but I want to mention my most recent experience. I bought a new set of tires for my Kia some time back. I had one of there tires go down on a Sunday when they were not open so I had to stop by --- and it required a new tire because of location of the screw in the tire. I purchased the new tire from ---- and kept my old one from Discount. My tire light came on 2 days later so I went in to have Discount check my air pressure and mentioned my Sunday tire problem. They checked my purchase and my tread on the old tire and was able to give me a prorated refund on my bad tire. They have great prices and warranties on their tires! There is generally a long wait but that is because they have so many customers. I usually call ahead and set up an appointment, even if it is just an hour or so before I go, this helps get you in line. Thanks Guys!
