I took a vacation day to wait for my Dads Sleep Number bed. About an hour after the delivery window started, I get a call saying Were not going to deliver your bed today, and right now it looks like it may be another month before we can deliver it.I pointed out that they had caused me to burn one of my few vacation days for nothing, and that Ill have to use another if and when the bed actually arrived. This very expensive bed is getting even more expensive.I then had to go and re-assemble the Sleep Number bed that was supposed to be replaced. Luckily the mattress inflated, although the incline options dont work.(I was offered a discount on what I guess is a future purchase that they may or may not deliver.)If you have problems delivering your (very expensive) items, simple, normal courtesy would be to give some warning. Waiting until well into the delivery window is completely unprofessional, and not acceptable.

I am so glad I got my sleep number bed. I have neck issues and since I started sleeping on my new bed my neck pain has improved.

My wife and I had been debating many different options to replace our aging mattress. We had always used traditional mattress and had pretty much decided wed go that way again. We agreed that wed take a trip over to the Sleep Number store to take a look at their products to least know wed done our due diligence before we made our investment. Our salesperson made us feel good about visiting not giving us any pressure just a thorough tutorial on what the Sleep Number concept is along with the demonstration of the product. I guess actually going through the experience of finding your number was what caused us to strongly consider this purchase. When you realize that two different mattress are what you really need it gets you thinking. We are the type of buyers that dont usually buy on impulse we gather information and try to make the best decision we can especially those that are fairly sizable. We had such a great experience both from our knowledgeable friendly salesperson along with the chance to try the product for 100 nights (with a little risk for us of $200 to return it should we not like it) that we felt wed have to give it a try. The comfort of the product (at least we think so) will be just what were looking for and the 25 year warranty (youll need to see if that makes a difference for you) was the deal sealer for us. Do what we did and stop in and see Don and take a test drive. I know were glad we did make the trip and check out the product. Great experience.

Very bad experience!! The sales person will withhold very important information. The base is non-returnable, so the 100 day free Trail is just a catch. After I paid them $6000 for the mattress they made me wait 30 days until they decided to come out and attempt delivery. They don’t give you options on when you could or could not take delivery. It’s set! They also don’t allow for us to pick the mattress up. That bed does not exist when it’s paid for. They are selling something they don’t have. I was not able to be home when they decided to show up for delivery, they took the bed back and told me to wait another 16 days for the next delivery or cancel the whole deal. So I did cancel everything!

Very car sales like. There was a very set pitch. We had a nice enough girl, but she wasnt the brightest. Its air not matter. My husband and I didnt bother explaining that gas is a state of matter. We did not appreciate the very common questioning style she used partially because it took longer and we obviously had done our homework and because her questions were very elementary. I think third graders might have even been insulted by the low grade questions. Also her point was that the bed would never break down. The idea behind the sleep number is that memory foam absorbs some of your pressure points but if you put air bags under it, the air bag will absorb some of the pressure points and the memory foam can do the rest. This was extremely noticable going from the C2 to C4 to P5. We werent interested in anything but the C2 due to budget. It was interesting getting to see our pressure points on the P5 and helped us realize not only was the sleep number not for us, but the Purple was. Forgot to add. I did really like that the associate was very respectful of our budget and didnt pressure us in that way.

Love the service in the store. No pushy salesmen to force you to buy anything. They show you the product and let you decide.

Steve Smith was an excellent help. He explained the use of the 360 Smart bed and its features very well. He also showed us all the options available and was not at all high pressured for us to buy.It was a pleasure doing business with Steve and the rest of the group at Sleep Number.

I feel like our sales man was honest and helpful. The only reason I didn’t rate this a 5 star experience is because if you spend 3700 on a bed, then I don’t think you should have to wait 2 weeks for delivery! That’s ridiculous.

Don was super! As a customer of early years 2002, he brought me up to speed on the newly designed beds!

Awful experience. Bought a pillow for my wife as a surprise. She didnt like it and we tried to return it. There is a no return policy, exchange only. Manager was a bit rude about had the policy been explained to me. Luckily we found a pillow that ended up working but Ill never go back.

If youre considering adding the adjustable base where each side of the bed will adjust independently, be aware that you must have the sleep number mattress that accomodates that feature. Since every picture in the store shows the independent feature and my salesman at The Mall St. Matthews did not inform me of that fact, I now have a $3,000.00 non-refundable upgrade that is not what I wanted.
