I come here fairly often, and this is saying something considering I live about an hour away (in walking distance) and I dont drive or take the bus. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the employees are helpful and kind, and there is a wonderful selection of art supplies and other fun novelty items near the front. I highly recommend. Prices of art supplies can be high, but that will be the case nearly anywhere unless youre getting very low quality items so I wont deduct any stars for that.

My first time there was great! The staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They carry a nice selection of all crafts and art and its similarly priced to other big box stores. Ill definitely be back for my future craft needs.

Driving through for business I stopped here to see if they had some wax crayons I was looking for, and found a gold mine. I think I dropped about $80 selecting the individual colors I needed, plus getting some extras for a friend who was looking too. Bonus: after shopping I swung around the corner for a fabulous bahn mi sandwich and some Vietnamese coffee at Eatz. Happy artist!

This place is AMAZING, If you need art supplies, GO THERE!! You would not regret it. Ask for Susan btw she is an absolutely delightful person. They got all kinds of cool stuff too like sock.

OMG!!!!!! I never knew they were there!Its better than all the best art parts of Michaels and Hobby Lobby, without all the silly floral arrangement, toys, furniture and knickknacks. Just lots of excellent quality paints art supplies. They were doing a tie dye class when we were there, with the good Procion MX dyes.

They have the standard watercolors, pen and ink supplies and papers but they go further with rock etching, leatherwork supplies, gilding, wood carving, book binding and tons of supplies for childrens crafts. My favorite store! I’m here all the time for various different arts and crafts and they almost always have what I need or are able to restock it. I love the ppl who work there and also I love the way the walls and ceilings are painted.

They have everything here and super helpful. Theyre taking the pandemic seriously and want to keep their customers safe while still providing the best customer service. Will definitely continue to come here for all my artsy craftsy needs.

Fantastuc local art supply shop: huge selection of paints, brushes, and colored pencil mediums, with an outstanding selection of canvases and textured papers. They have a healthy selection of any and all art supplies, at decent prices that are made even better by a generous student discount.

I went there with lots of questions looking for paint pouring and resin supplies. The kind staff did their best to answer my questions thoroughly. They pointed me in the direction of the perfect items, and to boot, they were reasonably priced. I will most certainly be back!

This store is handicap accessible for the 1st floor--larger canvases and boards are in the basement, however that is no problem. All of the employees are super nice, approachable, and knowledgable. There are no art snobs here!The store has a great variety of products and often run sales. They have quite a bit of merchandise for kids, also. There are a few art stores in town, but this one is my favorite because of the variety of products (& they will special order for you), the sales, and most of all, those awesome employees .

This store is amazing. The selection rivals that of the big online venders and the prices are competitive as well. As a bonus you get to support your local artists and economy by shopping there as well. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice professional art supply store. Parking from the main street is a pain, better to park in the back. Canvases are in the basement via some colorful wood creaky stairs, so best to hold onto the railing. Staff was attentive and familiar with their products, so definitely a plus there. Prices aint cheap, but professional art supplies never are.

Very helpful staff! I came in with an idea for a project and no idea how to do it or what I needed. As soon as I entered, the cashier asked if he could help with anything, which is great for me because I have a hard time approaching people. I told him what I wanted to do and he quickly consulted with the other workers. One of the ladies figured out a way to do my project and spent the next 15mn walking me around the store, showing me the supplies I needed and explaining how to use them to create my project. She also showed me cost effective options. I came in expecting to be pointed to an aisle or told they didnt have what I needed so I was very happy they went the extra mile for me!!

The stuff is very knowledgeable, friendly are helpful. Also this is the biggest art supply store in the area. And they offer a 10% student discount.

Only place to go if you want to have a choice on art paper. as a lithographer I really enjoy Stonehenge paper and they not only have it, but they have it in colors that I had never seen before. Blue Stonehenge is beautiful. staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will make you aware of all your options depending on your project. I went here looking for supplies to screen print a t-shirt having never done it before, thanks to the staff I was able to get all the stuff I needed and even a little quick advice on home screen printing. shirt turned out great!

Great little hole-in-the-wall locally owned crafts supply. It looks tiny, but like some sort bizarre dimensional tear, it is huge inside. You can find nearly everything you need here. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful.

This is one of the best art stores around, in my opinion. So many different paints to choose from. The variety of chalk paints is amazing! Perfect spot for me to pick the perfect paints and brushes for the Bob ross date nights my husband and I have. I adore the little gift area too. I found so many unique gifts there! What a fantastic place this is! I couldnt stop staring at all the cool stuff they had in the store. I was like a kid in a candy store. Im a novice when it comes to watercoloring, but Oscar was super helpful in walking me through their selection of supplies for beginners. Super friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. I walked out with high quality products at an affordable price range for my budget.

This is a bit of a hole in the wall from the outside. Set back from the street and a little hard to see. But inside it is huge. You can find just about anything here to do with art. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the prices are pretty decent too. They seem to have a lot of sales.

Great art supply store!! They know what theyre talking about too. They can actually tell you how to use a product or which product you might need! And prices are better than the big arts and craft stores.

This is my favorite place to buy art supplies in Louisville. The hole-in-the-wall feel of the place is fun, but the shop is packed with a huge assortment of supplies for all sorts of media. I love walking around this store. It’s a joy to see the interesting papers on display, the big brush displays, the racks of paint tubes ranging from student grade to top-of-the-line, and the lines of pencils and pens and markers, plus all the weird little gift items. The sales staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are competitive. The only negative I think worth mentioning is the tiny, hard-to-access parking lot; you’re probably better off bypassing that and parking on a side street, which is usually no problem.
