This was a most fascinating place to me...I sew...but in all my sixty plus years of sewing Ive never seen this much fabric in one place...

Small selection but lots at the same time. good prices too i don’t think i’ve seen any higher than 5 and that’s for the medium/heavy canvas. they take card too on 10 above. pretty sure what i bought wasn’t cotton but a poly cotton blend. i don’t mind much when the prices are good.

There I was, buying what I thought were the correct replacement light bulbs. A guy behind the counter asks me if Im buying replacement bulbs, and then nicely points out I have the wrong ones.Thank you, Douglas, for saving me money and time, not to mention the schmaltz.What a great place to shop!Enjoy!

Does it get any better than .99 a yard for fabric!?? Theres lots of material to choose from. Lots of workers helping cut you fabric on the spot. Does get a little crowded though. Beautiful materials and patterns! Cant wait to go back. Such a good bargain!

Good prices on quality fabric

I love this fabric store! When I cant get downtown this is my place! I love going through the fabrics and letting my imagination run wild! The ladies that work there are very pleasant and they work really hard too.

Fabric is cheap but customer service is horrible.

I was expecting a little bit more customer service the staff care more about being on the phone then try to help me out so it was a very easy come in as for certain things didnt care to wait or figure out what they were doing so I just decided to go to another store specially in downtown with there so many stores trying to get your business.

I triple heart love this place. Carlos is one of the hardest working most awesome people dtla and he sells great fabric at great prices. The stock rotates out super fast but they always have consistent supply of every color satin in heavy and light weight,organza,chiffon and cotton poly blends as well as a great selection of prints and sometimes gorgeous special random fabrics. Definitely check them out when you are DTLA they are on 9th/maple in the heart of the garment district. Love you guys ♥️😍😻😘

Went to get fabrics for curtains and took forever to make decide what to get employees were very helpful.

Great amount of different kinds of fabric here. I had bought some fabric here for a project I was working on and I was not disappointed, also the staff here helped out a lot when I asked questions on types of fabrics.

L A 99 Cent Fabric Store really is as good as it gets when it comes to great, affordable deals on fabrics, trims, knick-knacks, and BUTTONS!! My god, there are just bins and bins of buttons in this store.

All the outside fabric is 99 cents with a minimum of 3 yards each.. thats still better than retail fabric prices
