The gentleman working this afternoon fixed my audio problem at no charge, despite my attempts to pay him for his time. He identified a short from two metal pieces that shouldnt have been touching, and wrapped one piece with electrical tape. Problem solved. Grateful.

Located in Koreatown on Western & 12th Pl just north of Pico Blvd. Plenty of parking within the small plaza. There are a few restaurants, shops and gas stations nearby within walking distance as well as a WSS across the street. Its a medium sized pull in garage type facility but they have everything necessary to get the job done. The owner is really hospitable, genuine and honest. I called for some information and he was more than helpful. He did some minor work on my amp and subwoofers system and it took less than 15 minutes. He also taught me some things I never knew, which was a bonus. For everything that was completed, he only charged me $20! They sell audio systems, speaker boxes, wiring, head units, installation, and I believe window tinting too. Ive been to a few other audio shops in L.A. and this place is by far the best so far! In general, we need more businesses like this, keep up the good work Dr. Auto Sound! Overall 5 Stars!

I was charged $250 for a car alarm that doesnt work. The place has over priced items. If you are going to be in business, please have the components to do the job. At the very least order the items necessary to complete the job. I get a sense that all they care about was taking your money. Rip off artist indeed 😤

I had hid installation and ceramic tint. He did well on ceramic tint job sure. However, he made a mistake and refused me help out.I was driving in rain and found out water got in the headlight and one of them has been gone. I took the car to a local car repair shop and one mechanic said someone who did this installation massed up whole system. He shown me the over heated resistors were just hanging and had melted my headlight. Therefore water got in and the headlight was death.I called the Dr Autosound and explained everything. He said bring the car to the shop but I was in Texas so I was not able to go. I just talked to him I do not need money, just send me the headlight and I will pay for installation. He said he could not do it because he had no idea what this situation was. so I texted him all the pictures and told him what I was told in the local car repair shop. Then he said it is okay to use after market parts for the head lights. I asked him why I have to have cheap made in china after market parts? My headlights are genuine made in Japan Acura headlights. He said he needed to talk with a customer and hung up on me.I called him next day and he said he was not able to find a record he did that work in his shop.

I bought an amphier from this shop about a month ago (and all windows tinted $700 total), Paul Kim sold me the amp and installed it all was well, I was happy! Today 03/01/2021 I noticed the amp was not on I took it to Mr Kim he must have forgot he sold me the amp when he said I need a new amp at $350 he could fix it... crazy huh

Experience was good. Fair price.Quality sound.i am very satisfied. Will go back or recommend.

Over priced go somewhere else the dude rip me off ... do not recomend trust me...if u go same thing will happen... for a simple install dude charge me more than my mechanic or simple alarm installment ... riskier than an earthquake go at ur own risk ...i wish I would have read previous comments below ... the place needs a beware sign on it wrapped with caution tape ..sheldon cooper would be outraged at his off the top random priceses

If youre a woman they will try to overcharge you. He tried to quote me on a basic alarm system on an older Camry for $400. They must be taking advantage of people during these unprecedented times..

Go somewhere else Dont waste your time I called the day before to ask availability he said come the next day at 11 am got here at 10:30 mind Im not from the area then he says it will be 2 hours so I was walking and waiting near by trying to kill time then I come back and he hasnt even started then gave some bs excuse then told he will start it now but it will be another 3-4 hours waste my time and drive 🤬🤦

My dudes shop should be 5 star tints, I have brought like 6 cars to him and I havent had no problem with the tints and it might cost a bit more then other places but it is really worth it!
