I can only assume the atmosphere or management is terrible because their pharmacy has a lot of turnover and is always understaffed. The rotating pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful, but the wait is horrendous.

After being given multiple attempts to redeem themselves, the pharmacy over several years has turned out to be worst pharmacy I have ever been too for so many reasons. I’m not wasting anymore of my time with this place after calling and them to say my prescriptions will be ready in 15 min so go there and after waiting in line for an hr and 15 min to just be told they were not able to fill my prescription for me.

Absolutely horrible service in the pharmacy. I can’t call without sitting on hold for nearly an hour to see if my son’s prescription is ready (just typing in your phone number to get a status never works). They put you on hold and when it times out they just put you back on hold without saying a word.The drive-through is so slow and nearly incompetent. These people are either not trained or not supervised. They are so slow at every turn (phones, window, inside the pharmacy) that it appears to be a true effort to move that slowly.

The Walgreens is ok, but the pharmacy is the most slow and inaccurate pharmacy I have ever been. I wait 1 hour and 37 minutes for a antibiotic for my baby. It was terrible, four employees inside the pharmacy area and only one taking orders and pickup area, even there was long line. They make me do the line 3 times. It was a very terrible experience.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Horrible “bedside” manner from technicians behind the counter and generally very disorganized workflow. The drive thru option is convenient but not if the pharmacy is working through a backlog of scripts. I recommend you call and confirm if your Rx is ready or just find a new pharmacy. I would give this place no stars if that was an option and you can be sure I will tell the nearby ER not to push this pharmacy.

I came here after being treated terribly at another Walgreen in Woodbridge.Well guess what,Elizabeth was great, there is nothing she can help me more than she already did.She informed me that they are backed up and I should wait 15-20 minutes, I understood that.When I came back, she told me that she have to wait for the pharmacist to get my meds approved.The pharmacist spent much more time than she should on my order, like approximately another 10 minutes. Honestly I could walk home have dinner and dessert and walk back and my meds wouldnt even ready. I only need two over-the-counter, plus two extremely common medications and it took them more than 35 minutes?This was on 09/23/2021 at roughly 8-8:40pm.

I am not a local. TDY from Colorado Springs. I was treated SO well by an employee, and dang it, I only know her name began with a B. (Jet lag sucks.) Thursday 20 May, around 8:15 p.m. God bless her for going out of her way to help a stranger in town. :) Hope to see you again next training course.

Have a problem with the store staff because they are not always familiar with the shelf products. The pharmacy staff is improved, but you always have to wait so progress is slow. I have reported this more than one occasion.

I go in here a lot because they are close to where I live but I have to say I love the employees and the one manager They are all so kind to me and always say hi. I enjoy going in there. I get a lot of use out of my Walgreens store card w coupons and savings. I have also used their photo printing which was great and I also use the pharmacy and the drive up window is so convenient. I Love that they fill my prescription each month and then text me when it’s ready. All in all, I am really happy w this Walgreens and the staff is great 🙂

Every single time I come here for my prescription that should be ready cakes me at least 15 to 20 minutes. This is through the drive-through after I have to wait for other people. I’m also noticing they have a very hard time getting through the line. There should be a better system than this. Honestly I don’t seem to have this problem anywhere else psycho. I’m very disappointed.

I tried them out a few times and I’ve never had anything done in one trip. They often surprise me with things out of stock and it will be a few days before it’s back in. I can’t figure out if they just lack proper training or lack empathy. You’re treated as just a transaction and they want it over with as quickly as possible. I found KC Pharmacy around the corner and they are what I expect a pharmacy to be plus some.

Lonnnnng waits at the pharmacy line, went to pick up prescription told me they did not have my insurance on file, only to find it “uploaded” on another site; and then told me to sit for another 20 min becuase the prescription wasn’t filled yet. Wait in line for 40 mins to be told to wait again 20 more min isn’t cool. This wasn’t a same day prescription, ample time to fill it. only one cleark works the registers and she disappeares after every other customer for 10 mins or so.

I personally will never visit this store again. I had a credit card with a $0 balance that I hadnt use in over a year. I used it in this store this week. 2 days later my bank stopped a transaction for a fraudulent charge. Seeing as how this was the only place it was used since Oct 2019, it had to happen at this store. The younger me wouldve went and had a conversation with the clerk who serviced me, but I am too old and wise for that now...I think. Tx

Absolute worse service here. No communication and they take forever for prescriptions. Not sure what the issue is with this location, but they need to fix it. Haven’t had any other issues with CVS’s or Rite Aid in the same area.Try to avoid if you can, you can thank me later.

Absolutely never on time. Understaffed, always busy... they don’t seem to understand that medicine is for sick people. I’ve literally never once got medications at the time their phone service says it’s available, and the lines always slow and long.

I am writing this review about the pharmacy part of Walgreens. I had my doctor call in a prescription yesterday and there has been 24 hours since the call-in happened. I just went into the store and they said the medication was not available. I am upset because I never got a phone call notifying this fact. The pharmacy staff said the only solution is for them to order the medication which wont arrive until after the weekend which is 3 days from now. There is no Walgreens nearby who carries such simple medication that is widely prescribed like mine. So I have to wait for three days without medication. I only went to Walgreens because I moved to a new area and this place is across the street. I never had this kind of problem at any CVS locations. I am being generous and giving this place two stars only because the store is very clean and the parking lot is big.

This pharmacy isn’t just guilty of horrible customer service, it’s so poorly organized and staffed the mistakes they make are a threat to health. Twice I was given the wrong prescription and now I’ve been out of my medicine for 3 weeks because they filed a refill claim with insurance when I’d not picked up the medicine. Now I’m stuck waiting another 2weeks before they’ll cover the cost. Taking my family’s prescriptions to another pharmacy miles away.

They never have anything I need, and are always slow. Staff are friendly. I’m changing my review to 1 star. I went to a different pharmacy today and they let me know that the doctor unfortunately sent it to the one at Richmond Hwy. After driving 20 minutes to get there, I waited 20 more minutes in line. When I got up to the window it still wasn’t ready (keep in mind the prescription was sent over 1.5 hours prior). This is not the first or even the second time I have had difficulty with this place. I have been a pharmacy tech in two different pharmacies. I know how pharmacies work. There is no excuse for how this place is run. I know people leave reviews most often when they’re upset, and I actually have never reviewed a business. Today that changes. I will never have another prescription sent here, even if there is the added convenience of a drive thru.

I keep wanting to like this place. It has a drive through, that should compensate for a whole slew of problems. As a prescriber, the pharmacists are difficult and unhelpful. As a patient, this pharmacy is infuriating. In the past year, 4 different times, I have gone to this pharmacy to pick up a prescription for common medications like Albuterol or amoxicillin and only after waiting over an hour did they tell me they are out of stock. When kids are sick, these meds cant wait.

Poor, poor, poor customer service. The pharmacy in particular seems to lack any management at all. the staff ambles around in circles with no defined work flow. They are slow and poorly trained. They are particularly poorly trained in use of the telephone.My scripts were moved here when Shoppers closed but I will go the distance to shop elsewhere.CVS, here I come.

Everyone has different experiences dealing with Walgreens and thats dependent on the people who serve you. But I am writing this review giving my account of the customer service provided at this particular location . I want to give a very positive review based on the assistance provided by Assistant Manager Bradley. First of all he was extremely professional, he looks the part by maintaining a well groomed appearance, and he went out of his away to assist me on a customer service related issued which was not just any item but an expensive item. I had an issue with an electronic item that I had purchased but no longer had the receipt for. Assistant Manager Bradley proceeded to assist me by going through their records going back in time taking approximately 40 minutes to find the receipt of my purchase and helped me exchange the item. Most people wouldnt take the time to do so, usually most people would take the easy way out and say Sorry there is nothing we can do. Assistant Manager Bradley definitely helped out.

Lorton Walgreens is my closest pharmacy and I’ve made a lot trip in a month and I’ve been getting wonderful experience. Except last Friday I’ve got a horrible one.Hussan is a horrible Clark at Walgreen pharmacy in Lorton. I was trying to pick up some medication for my mother but she was very rude to me by making me wait prolonged periods of time with only a “wait” as an excuse. I understand being busy with work but she gave a very minimal reason and when I asked her if she could help me after 10 minutes or she snapped at me and it was another 10 minutes until I got my mothers medication. She has also lied to me about my mothers medication by saying it wasn’t available in her name but a week prior I had gone before and another pharmacist told me that her prescription was ready. After I asked a supervisor she find the prescription before arrived and handed to me.Sometimes we all KNOW we’re In United state of America to help on our profession and knowledge NOT to demand and abuse the regulation. Hussan ( I’m not sure I spell her name properly ) needed to know it’s 21 century.Be weary of her.Also I would like to remind name badges not need to flipped.Thanks.

Very poor customer service.Came to do the picture for passport, they had zero people in store.After making couple pictures,they say something wrong with camera and saying will go and fix the issue.Then goes to the counter and rings other customers without calling other tellers.Waited 20 minuets,after I did point out I’m still here and waiting,to what she didn’t even say sorry, Came did one more picture and said, camera is bad. Again not even sorry!!!Very poor customer service.

Modern store with easy access at Route 1 and Lorton Road, near Gunston Plaza. This location has a drive up pharmacy, plenty of free parking, and public restrooms. Also has photo processing center and ATM on site.

Five stars for the gentleman in their Pharmacy who helped me get my prescriptions. Without asking, he looked up my insurance info and then he rushed as he saw that I very sick. He raised the bar for the other Walgreens Pharmacy, unfortunately. When I went to the Walgreens Pharmacy on Old Keene Mill, with my sick infant, i was sorely disappointed.

I love the pharmacy there, there is a girl with black hair named jen or something and she is just wonderful. She is are always on time and accurate but overtime I see Carl there I turn around. Customer service horrible,I went Sunday evening I needed to print a picture which I wanted urgently so I drove through the snow.The cashier was helpful then she needed help in printing my picture and called the manager to help,then the manager came absolutely no help or seems like she don’t want me to print that picture at all, I ask why she didn’t want to help me print she looked at me and went back,and I end up going home with out printing my picture.

If I could give a negative star I would. This store, in particular the pharmacy, is terrible. Their dial in phone system doesnt work. You hold for 20 minutes +, they dont actually take your Rx about 25% of the time so you wind up waiting in their awesome long pharmacy line to find out that they never filled your order. Oh, and then half the time theres 3+ people standing around in the back doing nothing while the line at the counter is 6+ people deep. I miss my Rite aide, this store and company are terrible... Ill be changing Pharmacies with each refill I get from my Drs. moving forward.

Completely disorganized, and poor communication between the staff. One person tells you one estimate of how long youll be waiting but then after waiting well past that time, they tell you itll still be a bit longer. If it werent for the fact that the pharmacy on post was closed I never would have even came here. I for sure, will never come here again.

This has become the worst pharmacy I have dealt with, and the bar continues to lower with each experience. Be prepared to spend an hour in line. Dont expect them to have your medicine in stock, and then be prepared to wait two days or more for them to get it. The staff seems to be in a perpetual state of chaos. Do NOT choose this pharmacy if you would rather not have a stressful experience and terrible service every time.

This pharmacy needs a manager, its a bit chaotic, and its seems that the staff are over their heads unable to track and satisfy customers needs, their is no lines policy, and people just jumps over each other, the drive through is a great value but only when someon is attending it.

Just got back from there after waiting over a month for my epi pens. The lady told me the prescription was fake but that the doctor was a real. They threw away my script and did t bother to call the doctor that they knew was real. Last time I check, Fort Belvoir hospital doesnt write fake scripts. Waste of time, and extremely poor customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. I chose to use this Walgreens because its closest to my house. Multiple times I have called in prescriptions and told theyd be ready in an hour. I would go in 3 hours later and have to wait over 25 minutes for them to fill a prescription that should have already been done. When I called this last time I sat on the phone for over 25 minutes hearing there is one caller in front of you...after 27 minutes I was hung up on, when I called back there where 4 people in front of me. When I called back to speak to speak to the manager he hung up on me. Ill be going else where even though it means going out of my way. Disrespectful and understaffed
