I highly recommend this location. A while back, I had went there to have them double check work done on a tire that I had replaced at a major dealership. The dealership was unclear whether they had made a mistake and did not have time that same day to simply check! I went to this location because they had plugged a tire on my old car. He lifted the car and checked in good graces. Since then, I tell everyone I know to go to them FIRST!!!!

I use to bring my cars here all the time but they have now lost me. I went in to get my brakes done and of course they found other things wrong. Thats fine but the easiest job was brakes and they failed. Left with brakes sounding worst then when I brought my car in. Took to another mechanic only for them to tell me the brakes were put on wrong. 10 min job and by brakes are no longer squeaking and grinding. Good bye tuffy and I will make sure no more of my fam and friends come here

Came in to get a quote to reseal my tires told me $35 per tire everyone else wanted $15

I took my daughters VW Beetle in for a front end alignment. He called to tell me it was done, but the car got stuck in reverse. He had to pull the center console apart to get it in gear. He asked if I wanted him to look into the problem. I told him that I would look at it. When I went to pay, he tried to make me believe that when I dropped it off it was stuck in reverse. The young man that worked on the car informed me that it was fine until they went to back it out of the bay. Obviously, it was fine when I left it there. He never let me know that it only had third and fourth gear. No reverse, first or second. I got it home and found that it had nothing to do with the shift linkage in the console, but they had broken a discontinued part on top of the transmission. They werent honest with me and Im not ever going back because of that.

Great staff, friendly and honest. Took my car in and it took a little longer then expected and they didn’t charge me anything. And took me back and showed me what I did need other then what I came in for.

Took my car in at 10 am because my exhaust pipes were dragging. Sean was awesome and straight forward with me regarding the cost and what was actually wrong with my car. 4 hours later Will created a new exhaust pipe and catalytic converter! With a one year warranty and not a thousand plus dollars later. They are SUPER DOPE!!!!!!!!! FLEXIBLE!!!!!! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY EFFICIENT!!!!!! Highly recommended, 100% satisfaction. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Ive gone to this shop ever since I got my car which was like a year and a half ago. This place has done work on my car when i first got it. Their work is always speedy and efficient! Never have had any issues getting whatever i need done. Aside from that, their workers have great customer service skills without a doubt. Definitely a great place to go with anything car related 💯👏

While driving to work on what would, of course, be the coldest day of the year thus far, my left rear tire went completely flat. I didnt even realize it until I arrived at work and saw it when I got out of my truck. Being new to Lorain, I Googled Tire Store Closest to Me. Tuffys was four blocks away. When I called the owner Rusty answered the phone and could not have been nicer. Upon listening to my plight he offered to send over two guys with an air tank to see if they could get it filled, which they did. They then drove my vehicle to their shop while I remained at work. When I arrived an hour later they had repaired my tire.(I had been dreading being told I would need to buy all new tires). They then proceeded to send me on my way without charging me a thing!!! Im astounded to find this level of Old School customer service in this day and age. The entire group of people could not have been nicer and more professional. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement.I highly recommend them!!!

We have been using Tuffys auto service for over 7 years now. We have a fleet of service vans on the road. When ever one of our van breaks down I take into Tuffs. They always fix it right the first time and have it back on the road quickly. When one of our vans are down then we can not take care of our customers, the whole team does a great job getting us back on the road in a timely manner. Will and Jason worked on my 2010 Mazda replacing the rear btrake pads and rotors. The price was fair and the brakes are smooth as can be. I went back there to inquire about getting a tune-up and they offered very sound advice about when I should get one instead of being pushy to take my money when it wasnt worth it to do so at the time. Honesty breeds loyalty! I will be taking all my vehicles to this shop in the future. Nice job!

I think theyre kind of high I really dont go there a lot but when I do I take my own parts and I let them know Im bringing my parts or labor is probably pretty very high I mean its alright I guess I dont go there that much anymore

Ever since I started to drive I came to Tuffy. Sean is so nice always makes me feel welcomed at the shop. Ive been doing through a rough time with my suv and he has worked with me and helped me out. A little expensive

This was my second visit to the Tuffys. They are really friendly and they do a thorough job when inspecting your car and they will tell you everything about it. My overall experience with them is really good and I recommend them for any servicing that your car may need.

Paid over 1300.00 dollars for my car to get fixed for a sound . And what do you know the same sound is going on . I dont trust to bring it back because iam afraid they will want more money. Also I tried to use a coupon online and he said he already discounted 300 already. Which I know is a lie every company Jacks there prices up and brings price down to make you think you hot a deal. He was rude also . I will never take my car back to them and will tell anyone looking for mechanic to stay away from these crooks.

My vehicle problem was taken seriously and fixed so I could make my trip back home.

I took my car in for a tire alignment because the wheel was shaking. Will Arnet calls me and said he thinks the car just needed new tires as he test drove it and said he would rotate the tires to see if it helped. He calls me later and said the shaking is gone but need new tires. Not an alignment. He doesnt sell Michelin which I swear by so he said come pick up the car and there is no charge. He was amazingly honest and kind. I asked ablit labor cost for his time and he said it didnt take long and not to worry. I heard from a couple of buddies this was the place to go. And they were right. Thank you, Will!

Jason and the guys at Lorain tuffy are great. I had my 99 Silverado towed there after business hours, and like magic they were calling me the next afternoon to pick up my vehicle. So I dont even know where to start first off we got dropped off at home at about 12 we do not get to pick up till 3 it took about 3 hours to do a oil change and do a brake inspection then $625!

This is one of the best Tuffys I have ever been to very helpful and honest one of the mechanics there a younger gentleman I believe his name was ron walk me through everything that was going on and never kept me out of the loop. I will be returning for any future car problems.

My air conditioning pump seized which caused my belt to break in short my car was dead 2 hours from home with my wife and 2 young sons everyone at tuffy auto from the owner to the office guy to the mechanics went out of there way to help me save me money and get me back on the road they have a level of customer service i have never seen anywhere I live about 2 hours from loraine Ohio where they are located but i will definitely make the drive back for major service. My vehicle needed work, I supplied the parts, they gave me a ride home as they wrenched on it. Leaving my motorcycle there, @ pick-up time, (A DEFINANT RARITY) they followed me home & brought me back to their shop to retrieve my motorcycle. A bunch of Bikers, gotta luvit, no bullshit &/or grey areas.

I do not take my cars to shops often, I work on my own cars. But the the first place I think of when I do is Tuffy in Lorain. I go there because of the acceptable prices, and simply because my whole family takes there cars there. My last reason of taking my car there was a wierd noise I could not figure out. They were quick to find the problem when I came in, and not too bad for the price for how hard it had to be to find the noise.thanks tuffy

Took my van to once agan cause what needed looked at was warrnted by them and every time they try to tell me stuff is wro g with my car that is not i did not get the work done that tbey said was needed the last 2 times and its funny when i take it back the dont say it need done there clamin my boyfrind did the work that has no clue to work on cars now there not willing to fix any of my stuff that has warnty and my a/c that they did work on july 2016 does not work oh the last time i tool my van the my heat blower just stoped working but was working just fine before that i jist got back from a rodad trip witj kids in the van but that was how the got out of fixing A/C just asked him to look at it aging now my car and i are not welcome there the place sucks my family had had provles taking there cars there 2

Went in just to have my car looked at, needed a tune up, i feel like he didnt even want to fix my car because of how i looked, told me he would test drive it to see whats wrong and had me wait in the lobby just to tell me 30 minutes later he didnt have the time to drive it and see what the problem was. They were noy busy and only had 1 person ahead of me. I didnt like my experience here.
