Has a record of doing good, long-term repairs on my vehicles, and prices are reasonable, considering the quality of repair and the skilled and knowledgeable mechanics at this shop. Jim always does a good job and takes care of customers. This shop also uses high quality replacement parts, and is certified by AAA, and offers a discount for members! I trust them.

Great service, clean shop. I had an appointment for a smog check and arrived 30 min early. They took care of my car right away and I was out the door before my appointment time.

Been going to Hodges for years with my Toyotas and Honda. Great service, all the cars work great and are from 15 years old. Very far pricing and great customer service.

I cant recommend this repair establishment. They did not perform quality work on my Audi and they even misdiagnosed their own bad work. Of tending leaving loose suspension components and altering original equipment in a hurry to bill and get the car out of their shop. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Hodges. While the owner may seem friendly and pleasant to get your business, he and his staff of one unpleasant guy do not have attention to detail nor do they really care about your car.

Ive been a customer of Hodges for at least 10 yrs. Jim is always willing to work with you and will do whatever he can to accomdate a customers needs (pay over the phone, lock keys in car for late pickup etc.).My personal experience, hes personally dropped my off AND picked me up from my house. Hes come to my house to diagnose a problem before advising me to tow the vehicle to his shop. Hes kept a car and personally driven it for a few days to determine exactly the problem as it was an intermittent issue.If those things arent enough, he and his staff are friendly AND he offers Triple A members a discount!I highly reccomend Jim and the staff at Hodges Automotive.

My car broke down in Los Alamos and I called AAA. They directed me to Hodges, where I left my car overnight. Jim called me the next day asking what was wrong. He took a look at the car, determined what was wrong and called me with an estimate. I live in San Luis Obispo so did not have much choice in the matter so allowed him to go ahead and fix the car. He gave me $50 off for being a AAA member, had all the parts in stock and alerted me of issues (not needing fixing) that the car had. He was very professional and the pricing was fair. If I lived in Lompoc I would be a Hodges customer. I was very pleased with the quick service, Jims professionalism and the fair price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hodges Automotive.

Perhaps the worst auto repair shop in Lompoc! California!! Ive made the mistake to bring my Volkswagen for a smog check and the owner himself work on my car, he damaged my door lock & two power windows because he didnt know how to turn the alarm off($700) he denied doing it !

I will return if I need other services done.

Do not take your car here. If you can find somewhere closer do it.
