Lee Donuts is pretty good, but probably not the 100% best in the area. I do recommend giving them a try.The donuts are quite tasty and the prices are fair. They have quite a variety to choose from, but get there early because they sell out of some quickly. The coffee is kept fresh and is very good.The shop is a little run down and old, but it is kept clean and pleasant.

We had Lee Donuts for the first time the other day, I believe it is difficult to find a good donut shop in the area, but now I believe my search is over! I believe it was the owner that helped us with our order considering there was a newspaper hanging on the wall and her picture was on the cover of that newspaper, she was very kind gracious and helpful, everything you would expect in a local shop owner, The donuts were excellent, had a sampling of a vanilla frosted Long John, blueberry cake donut, maple glazed cake donut, lemon and raspberry filled and glazed donut and they all go exceptionally well with a nice hot cup of coffee which they also serve a locally roasted blend. Theres a little bit more of a drive from where we live but well worth time spent.

I pick up donuts about 2 to 3 times a month. The quality of these donuts is superior to all other donut shops in a 200 mile radius. My review is about a person not about a product. Its because of Heidi that I will continue to go back and tell people about this wonderful establishment. She has never said no to any order I requested and always greets me with a smile and a honest enthusiasm that conveys my value as a clients. The skill set of true customer service is a lost art. Second year in a row that the Paczki’s had raw dough in the middle. Disappointed that the Paczki’s were filled via cutting the pastry in half versus the traditional method of cutting a hole and piping the filling in.

Conveniently located, ample parking, friendly and efficient staff and most importantly... delicious donuts. Wide selection fairly priced, the chocolate cake donut is unreal! I have a new favorite donut place!

Donuts done right! After moving out of the city, I missed our occasional trips for “fancy” donuts. Dunkin isn’t what I am looking for. Lee’s makes real donuts the right way. Love this place!

My daughter had her first donut here! She has food allergies and now that she has eliminated egg and dairy the only thing stopping us was peanuts. We are currently working on getting her cleared for that as well but this donut shop is peanut free! Great donuts and great service!

Stopped in for the first time after years of passing by. The donuts are good and fresh. The yeast glazed is soft with a little chew, but I think it was a little greasy. The frosted cake was delicious and tender. All around a great experience. The inside of the shop could use a good de-cluttering and more lighting!

Donuts were old/stale. Nothing was labeled. Girl bagging them for me was a bit rude and very unhelpful. Was trying to support local donut shop over something like dunkin, but likely won’t go back.

Becoming a Sunday family tradition to stop at lee donuts on the way to the prairie wolf dog park, the only thing we cant agree on is which are better...yeast or cake! Donuts are so good I havent been able to take a photo we eat them so fast every time.

Thought they were fine. Nothing exceptional to the donuts themselves. I may have gone in a tad later than when the morning batches come out. Strolled in at around 11, so I will give the benefit of the doubt and assume that this probably had an impact on the freshness.

Best donuts in TOWN! My mom always told be about this place and her store meetings and how they would take turns bringing donuts from this bakery. I went and i loved it! The smell the smiles on everyones faces! It was a wonderful experience.

The donuts were so good. We went on a Saturday at 745am. After 8 or so they started getting a line. We had the buttermilk donut, apple fritter, and chocolate frosted with sprinkles. Yummy!

The maple bacon Long John is hands down my favorite morning treat. You have to get there early to snag one (or call and order it so they save one!) All the other donuts are delicious and always super fresh, the red velvet is a favorite of mine. There is plenty of seating if you want to eat in, plus open wifi for customers so you can get some work done

Donut ice cream sandwiches - the real WOW! Definitely worth the calories. Donuts made there and the ice cream is locally made too.Also - I Must also tell you about the coffee! Im really particular and only got coffee there because I knew we wouldnt be stopping anywhere else soon. I was simply amazed at how delicious it was. Like drinking it in Guatemala or Costa Rica at a coffee finca.Just a little store front in a strip mall, so no upscale ambiance. They do have tables, but taking stuff to go is easy. Please like if this review was helpful.

The donuts themselves were fine the price however was not appropriate I bought 4 donuts and 2 milks and paid $14. Ive always heard good things about this place so I thought what the heck just give it a try but the donuts were mediocre at best. Based off of price Alone I would not go back.

Wonderful counter service, clean area around the tables if you eat in, retro music playing (some disco this morning), great donut selection and hot, tasty coffee. Pretty awesome. Apple fritter is smaller than some others but it is tasty with plenty of apple.

If you are looking for real donuts, this is the place! Right off 294 for easy access from all over Wisconsin and Illinois. The place is relatively new, no frills coffee shop meets donut joint. Huge glass case of all the donuts and muffins are out front and they make the donuts right on site, so they are all fresh and delicious. Do not miss the old fashioned donut, truly old fashion! Also saw a sign for Scornovacco pizza slices, so may want to hit it up for a lunch stop.

Stood in line for 10 min waiting for the VERY slow lady behind the counter to help the 3 people in front of me. All they ordered was 2 coffees, a hot chocolate and 3 donuts.....stood that entire time to be told they have NO DONUTS!!!! With an hour and a half until close......guess I wont be coming back here!!! Learn how to make MORE THAN enough donuts for the entire day. If you have leftovers, friggin donate them!!!!!!! Good lord, learn how to operate a business....

Very limited selection of about 8 varieties of donuts (mostly chocolate covered), but when they gave me grief about not taking credit cards for under $5... no sale! Honestly nothing looked impressive enough to justify spending more. Get a better credit card processor!

My husband had a warm apple fritter a la mode. It was delicious, I took a few bites. We also grabbed a few donuts to go. There was a good selection, I do wish there was blueberry (they ran out), but to make up for that they had red velvet. Yum!

We Drove ALL THE WAY FROM INDIANA to try there DELICIOUS Apple Fritters and let me tell you they did not Disappoint!!! Jim the owner was a Very great guy we got a variety of about 2 Dozen Donuts along with the best cup of Coffee Ive ever had in my life! Its very hard to Find a Donut shop like this anymore. I hate the same taste of Dunkin and all there coffee and products. But if you ever in the area I suggest you stop on in Lee Donuts and check it out!!! We will be checking out his restaurant shortly too!!!

Okay, so I have to clarify Im giving it this rating for the fritters. They are incredible. Ive tried the rest of the donuts. I would give them a 3 star since I think theyre about average. The crullers are a solid 4. But seriously, THE FRITTERS. Incredible. Would recommend again and again. They ice cream is pretty good too.

Addictive, dangerously good. Just the right amount of sweet prepared in a peanut-free zone (according to them) and served by friendly people. Bought a dozen for $13, had a friend with a pretty serious nut allergy throw down 2 with no ill effects, so I assume that Lees is nut free. They are made daily on site. They serve them up right before opening. They also have super good ice cream and coffee. They had an espresso machine, but it was a (very high end) push-button deal, and I am a ridiculous coffee snob, so I didnt partake.

The teenagers who work there dont really care about service. Today they left the phone off the hook and closed up shop at 12:45. There were still many donuts in the case. It is hard to support a local business during this crazy time if they arent even open during their published hours.
