Afternoon tea with my girlfriend! We had a window seat overlooking some beautiful buildings!! The tea service is served on beautiful Wedgwood, and we had a nice selection of sweets and savories. The only tea sandwich that I didnt really care for was the texture if the green flower avocado. Everything else was amazing, especially the desserts! Really glad we tried their afternoon tea.

Today, my boyfriend and I enjoyed an absolutely amazing experience at the tea lounge within Waldorf Astoria. The service was top notch and overall a great experience- they even brought out a special surprise, compliments of the Chef for celebrating an occasion with them. The selections of finger sandwiches, scones and tasty desserts were great for different pallet preferences and also very filling. Staff was so kind to ask about dietary restrictions beforehand and substituted within the menu to accommodate.Looking around, it appeared everyone was also enjoying their experience. The cleaning after every seating was impeccable- to include (silent) vacuuming. It is a great experience and great quality for the price- I will definitely return again.Only “con” I can think of, is I wish there was more privacy from hotel check-in.Otherwise, I disagree with the few bad reviews and would say the posters sound slightly arrogant- I’m sure if you told them your finger sandwich was “stale” before leaving, they would have done everything to fix it for you.

I came here with my husband for my birthday, absolutely loved it! We got the Tea For Two which includes the Afternoon Tea and a bottle of champagne. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Even my husband said that it was a lot better and more than he was expecting (as you can assume, the tea party-vibe was my idea). Our server brought out a happy birthday cupcake on top of what we got! They also have a bottomless mimosa option as well as bellinis by the glass. They have a huge tea option to match anyone’s taste. I highly recommend and would definitely return whenever I visit Las Vegas again.I just wish they had a geo/location tag. I couldn’t tag them on social media and had to tag the Sky Bar which was adjacent to the Tea Lounge.

My gal pal and I booked a reservation with Tea Lounge for an afternoon tea service. I had called a few days prior to our reservation to request window seating. Booking a reservation was very easy, we booked online. The restaurant is located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria. There are a limited amount of seats next to a floor to ceiling window. We got there a few minutes early and was seated right away, by the window as requested. You have a clear view of the strip, with both seats facing towards the window so, my friend and I can both enjoy the view.Over all the experience was superb. Food presentation was good and for the most part, delicious. We enjoyed every aspect of it.If youre into tea service, this is a must do.

We really appreciated that with 24hr notice there was a vegan option for afternoon tea! We had scrumptious avocado toast and the best cucumber sandwiches I’ve ever had along with mango chia pudding, a hazelnut cake, and various fruits. Wonderful service + staff, the hostesses were very helpful and our waitstaff kind and very knowledgeable. Beautiful lounge with lovely views. The flowery earl grey and jasmine white tea were perfect. Definitely try a Bellini made with fresh fruit purée, the passionflower one was to die for.

This is our first time at the Waldorf Astoria’s Tea Lounge. At first, I was not sure if I would be back. However, the quality of food changed my mind. We were a party of seven and three of us arrived at 1335 hrs and we confirmed the reservation was for seven. Including our table there were seven tables with guests in the restaurant. The staff did not seem busy. We sat for ~15 minutes before she can over and asked my wife to move to one of the chairs with the place setting in place. This was confusing since there was a reservation for seven, as I mentioned, but only six place settings in place. When the seventh person came they added the place setting. As above the food was very nice and thus I will give it a second try. I still found the service was poor.

While the location and atmosphere of this lounge is great, the overall management style and customer service is lacking. Upon arrival my family and I requested a table near the large windows. There was only one 4 person table available near the glass. The lady working the front desk informed us “sorry the tables are all pre determined and cannot be moved.” We we’re satisfied with this answer and thanked her. However, once we were sat down, we noticed her seating a group of 3 down at the table and asking if this table was okay for them. While odd, this still didn’t bother us and we went about our tea. But as time passed, we saw the staff accommodating others and allowing table and seat changes for 3 other groups to window adjacent seats. It was clear that the tables were not pre determined and customers were treated unequally.I brought the issue up to the manager in charge and while he apologized, he was very argumentative saying it was hard to move a 4 seat table as opposed to a 2 table seat. It was clear he wasn’t listing to me as I was more bothered by the lie of “seats were predetermined and set.” My advice to the Waldorf is to train their staff better on how to deal with customers. The staff must be on the same page and shouldn’t argue with customers. We just paid 300 dollars for tea, I did not come here to argue with staff over table arrangements. Nonetheless, I informed him I will take the bill in full and do not wish for any compensation for the inequality. I just want them to move forward treating their customers with equality and not create double standards. I will not return to this establishment nor can I recommend it to anyone else due to the cracks in the foundation of the customer service and experience at the tea lounge.

My wife and I were promptly seated at a window with sweeping views of the city. The service was on point, not too slow and not invasive. Our teas were extraordinary and the food was flavorful. We were full when we left, which has not been the case when weve had tea in other locations. The only constructive criticism I have to offer is for the volume of the music to be decreased.

Where do I begin? My friend made reservations for two for seats by the window and the view was beautiful overlooking the strip. I must say, it is hard to find if youre not sure where youre looking for and on apple/google map, I thought it was next to pink berry and was looking for signs, but you actually take the elevator to the Sky Lounge from the Mandarin hotel lobby. The decor and set up was very beautiful. We both opted for the Traditional Afternoon tea which comes preselected and you just choose your pot of tea. I chose the matcha which you can select to come with or without milk (like a latte!) and sweeten it to your desire. It was delicious. You get a wide range of pastries and finger sandwiches as well as dessert, if youll have room for it by the end! My favorite was the curried chicken they had in the cute little cones, and secondly, the smoked salmon was delightful as well. They do add a mandatory gratitude to your ticket regardless the number of people in your group. Its a lovely experience and would recommend anyone to try at least once.

My favorite high tea in Vegas. $56per person when I went (this wasnt including mimosas). The view is awesome as you can see pretty far down the strip, and the food and teas are all excellent. The Tea Lounge is in the Waldorf Astoria and there is no public parking so you either need to Valet at the WA or park at the Aria and walk over. Valet is $10 if you have it validated at the Tea Lounge and you can pay with your meal. The tea pots for tea are big enough for 8 cups and each person gets their own. They will top off your water or warm the pot if it gets cold. The desserts are pretty high end, maybe a little fussy for me but I appreciate the attention to detail.

Tea might not be what one traditionally thinks of as a Las Vegas activity, but a visit to the Mandarin Oriental’s tea lounge is well worth it. I have visited twice with my family and we agree that it is probably the best afternoon tea service we’ve had. The sandwiches and pastries are a nice mix of traditional tea sandwiches and more eclectic fare and the selection of available teas is very wide. I had a lovely birthday lunch there and would recommend it to anyone.

I know this isnt the Mandarin Oriental Hotel anymore, but it recently transitioned from so Im comparing this tea experience to other Mandarin Oriental Tea Lounges. The tea was great, as were the scones. The sandwiches, however, felt like the bread was days old and honestly the flavors just werent exciting enough. The pastries were also just okay. The service was attentive and nice, but having done a few tea times at other Mandarin tea rooms I left feeling very underwhelmed. The tea lounge is just one side of the hotel lobby, which also lacked ambiance.

Tasty tea with a 23rd floor view of the strip. Their scones were kept well warmed in a napkin with a heated metal piece. Their desserts were very inventive, interesting and tasty. Their tiered tea service is on a stand next to your table which is excellent in not blocking the easy view of your companion/s and frees up more room on the smallish table. The service was very generous bringing more sugar stirers. The tea selection was a about a dozen each of caffeine, herbal and green. If you choose a reservation at the start of the any of the he time blocks, you can likely get a seat directly in front of the window. However, we sat one row back from the front and could easily enjoy the view. My favorite sandwich was the chicken curry and favorite dessert was their perfect chocolate macron.

The Tea Lounge in the Waldorf Astoria was so lovely. The service was excellent. Jingle was our server and when she found out my mother broke her arm that morning, she brought out a basket with a stuffed animal and handwritten get well card. It was so thoughtful. The $48 pp for afternoon tea was well worth it. It seems that the servings are small but surprisingly they were quite filling when accompanied by the tea. Ginger and Mango tea were our favorite. It came with 4 mini sandwiches,2 scones and 4 mini desserts. There are only 3-4 tables that overlook the strip so be sure to ask for that when you make your reservation.

Elegance, service and scenic view are the highlights of our trip to the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. The entrance is tucked away inside City Center and is void of smoke or gambling noises. Hooray! The lobby is small and quiet and you know immediately you have stepped off The Strip. We then take an elevator to the top floor to reveal an amazing view. And this is where you sit and enjoy being served high tea on uncomfortable couches by very professional and attentive servers. And again it is quiet and without smoke or slot machines. This hotel is a true resort for relaxation and decadence. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because we did not get to enjoy all that the hotel offers. This was not our first high tea experience, but it was the first high tea experience for us in Las Vegas. And we will be back!

To preface this review, I have done afternoon tea around the world. This has been by far the most disappointing experience. The dress code is smart casual, but its not really enforced.Im not sure if theyve recently redone the menu, but it was underwhelming. First, Ill cover the positives. The dessert selection was varied and offered something for every palette. My particular favorite was a semi-sweet chocolate tart with a white chocolate disk over the filling and topped off with a passion fruit jelly. The scones were also delicious. There were cranberry and plain scones. They came with clotted cream, lemon curd and raspberry jam. My favorite was the lemon curd as it was light and tart. The negatives were the finger sandwiches. We were only offered two, which Ive never encountered at any afternoon tea. Typically, you receive a varied selection on finger sandwiches, but this service was lacking. There was one ham sandwich and one salmon. The salmon sandwich was okay. The sandwiches were also served with a bizarre cone? It was a sesame cone with sweet fig jam and a cheese flower. The cheese flower was pungent and had a strong flavor. I almost gagged and found myself having to eat more of the fig jam to drown out the flavor of the cheese. It was a rather unpleasant experience. I felt that the sandwiches and the cones definitely alienate a lot of guests who expect a more traditional afternoon tea.Another issue was that the table was coffee table height and made for uncomfortable seating. As a result, there were crumbs everywhere despite our efforts to maintain cleanliness. The tables were also quite small and made our area look cluttered.Service was friendly and the tea selection was good. Our tea did grow cold and it took a while before someone offered us fresh pots.Overall, I would not recommend afternoon tea service at the Waldorf Astoria as is. Maybe once the menu is redone or there is a special seasonal menu, the experience would be improved.

First thing I have to say is that the pictures of this place on their website are flattering. Very flattering. Its basically an area in the lobby of the hotel where they charge you an arm and a leg for tea. Just to be clear Im being literal when I say the lobby as we sat about 20ft from the wonderful hotel staff that checked us into the hotel. It was about $15 for a small pot of tea. Were I not on vacation Id have laughed and walked out, but we figured it would be an experience. After paying nearly $50 additional for a few tiny crust-less sandwich halves, a scone, and a few pieces of chocolate I can now relate to a certain teen mom who recently broke into the movie scene (you might have to google that one if this is a few years old).If youve money to burn or enjoy being bent over a charming asian inspired couch then youve come to the right place.Service was outstanding though.

My wonderful mama friends took me to my first Vegas High Tea for my birthday...good times with some amazing woman...party of 8 please!Tea Lounge Service: The host stand seated us immediately after we checked in for our reservation. Our server was amazing and I wish I had gotten her name. Friendly and attentive during our visit, she checked on us frequently. She heard it was my birthday and brought out a birthday dessert for me, very nice.Tea and more: I went with the Jasmine Pearl White Tea and it was delicious. I also sampled the matcha green tea as a latte and it was also put together well. You can truly taste the high grade tea leaves used, excellent. All the tea sandwiches were pleasing both aesthetically and more importantly to taste. My #1 is the chicken curry with trumpet mushroom and Asian pear on a sesame cone. The Scones were my favorite overall though. They come served warm and the creams melt into them easily for maximum taste.Tea Lounge Ambiance: Located on the 23rd floor you get a great view of the Strip. Amazingly tall ceilings in high end Mandarin decor makes for an impressive and pleasant High Tea experience. Tables are spaced appropriately and its a great place to catch up with your friends or a day date.Overall this is a great experience from beginning to end. The High Tea experience at the Mandarin is unique to the city and is definitely something to try at least once. Its pricey but I will definitely be back for another visit. Thats another tale, enjoy!

She was condescending, and I wasnt even asking for much. I never even told them it was my birthday, despite watching another party get a free cake and song. The seats had crumbs and bald spots, the tables needed to be vacuumed underneath. Our hors doeuvres and petit fours were inconsistent with some falling apart and others missing pieces. Looking over at the other seated guests, even they had nicer ones than we. Our I hope if I go back, I have a nicer experience. In the meantime, my memories about it are sub-par. Luckily I went with my best friends, but othet than that, it was a mediocre experience.
