I originally gave 4 stars. Until I found out that they had reset the Codes on the vehicle I just bought. Two days after I bought it the check engine light came on and a cylinder 6 misfire which can be several things. I reached out to them asking if there mechanic had any idea what it could be . I understand I bought the car as is but the fact they knew what was going on and tried to hide it is not okay. A tune up alone cost almost $700 and this would have stopped the purchase. They did not respond to me. Any answer would of been better then none. The no reply shows they dont care about customers at all.If they happen to get back to me I will update

Drove two vehicles, one was misfiring on two cylinders at least, started shaking before I could even leave the lot. Second pulled so hard to the right that it had to have some sort of front end issue. Asked if they had a mechanic and if there would be any way he would look at them. His exact words were oh we have a mechanic, he just wont waste his time on this. which I left right after that and moved on to a better place.

Thompson motors was kind, understanding but not pushy while trying to find the right vehicle for a new driver. Warranty was offered and accepted at a very reasonable rate. The required repairs were performed and the vehicle was washed and filled up with gas upon our departure. My rating stands like my review. They price right and leave room for talking down. Every vehicle is a decent buy for a great used car. I recommend if you live in the thumb to give them a look see first over any Ford or GMC based dealership. Ive bought two different cars and havent been let down on the price I paid for the vehicle. Bought my Lincoln MKZ from them. Have stopped in many times looking but havent found anything I like at the right times. The car has been great thus far and my salesman was great. Have had undesirable experiences with the manager (I believe) before and that has kept me from purchasing other vehicles from them. Overall good place to get a daily driver between 7 to 10k.

Jake got me into a nice Honda. Service was fast, and walked away feeling good about my purchase.Came back almost 12 months later with my protection plan contract that I purchased extra for $900 before my contract was up. Instead of trying to hear me out Jake made excuses as to why he cant even look at the vehicle. This is not a service department you have to know whats wrong with the vehicle... Im not a mechanic I dont know. But I paid $900 so you would think they would just do a once over and get the extra $100 from the deductible.. Nope! Waste of money! Whats even worse is I paid Cash $7,800 For my car! Dirty Snakes

My girlfriend was a first time buyer with low credit and they were still able to get her financed and driving a new car the very next day. Over $6,000 for a used car. I guess I got lucky, 3,000 miles and Ive only had to put $1,500 dollars into it. Oh you would think that I would have a decent car after that amount of money. Nope. I have to replace the whole engine. 4 mechanics have quoted me $7,000 for a new engine. And one of those mechanics was Averys, a very trusted mechanic. I have quite literally screwed myself by trusting this local business. Such a shame.

Started out that I went through the car wash and water leaked through like a Faucet was on. They fixed that. Then lights went off in the car and I found out it was the speed sensor that effected the brakes and cruise control. Because of the lights going off I checked the oil, which was black and low and had bubbles in it when I was told by the sales rep that they had just changed the oil. So that was a lie since it was only one week of me having the car. I called and left a message about it and they have never called me back. They don’t answer my call when I call in either. Then I get the plates in and I cannot put them on the car because there is no way to attach it. No one answers when I call. I asked the rep if he knew of anything that was wrong with the car before I purchased it. He obviously lied. They sold me a lemon and they had to have known it because of the oil situation.

I wasnt sure about looking into another vehicle, but my husband thought it was time. I believe I have been screwed by dealerships before, so we try to deal with private sellers. Paul and Jake changed my mind. I never felt pressured to buy. A couple days a week theyre open till 8pm. The paperwork for financing and my trade were explained well, and done in a timely manner. I forgot the hitch on my trade in vehicle. They took it off and kept it around for me to pick up. They were very helpful and accommodating. We will use them again when shopping for another vehicle.
