I brought my truck in to have a lift installed. Upon drop off of my vehicle, I asked that they install the front struts on the 3rd clip for a little extra lift.Fast forward 2 weeks and the truck / suspension have settled and I notice the front has a noticeable rake. I checked the struts and they were left on the first clip. I brought the truck back to Vehicle Accessories and explained my case. I was told that the instructions say to leave it on the first clip and that it would speed up ware on the ball joints. I understood the risks, hence my asking for them to be installed in that manner.They told me they would make the change but that Id have to pay for it but theyd not charge me for the alignment. It seems to me as a person who also works in customer service that one of two things happen.1 Do as I asked or 2 let me know you cant or wont do as I asked with some explanation .

I have a 2016 F-150. Truck was completely stock when I bought it. I had them put a 6in Zone lift on and it turned out great. They worked with me to make my wheel/tire combo fit. Had to do some metal shaving and plastic trimming. Wayne did a great job, I dont have any complaints. Shaggy really worked hard to get me great prices on anything I found. I have ordered everything for my truck through them. Great staff, everyone is friendly and treats you like a friend rather than a customer.

I recently bought an F 350 and had Vehicle Accessories install a hard tonneau cover, mud flaps, and wheel well inserts on my vehicle. The work was done quick and with superb quality for a very fair price. I plan on using them for any and all of my future vehicle customizations.

I had fender flares and mudflaps installed on my 07 Hummer H3.With my particular vehicle and tire configuration ready made fender flares were not an option so I had husky liner mud grabbers and mudflaps installed.Alex, the installer did a great job. He went the extra mile to fabricate support brackets to eliminate the sag on the fender flares at the rear door seam.He did an outstanding job and Ill be happy to return for future accessory needs.

Great business! The employees at Vehicle Accessories are very personable and know the material they deal with, and much more! I Live in the Grand Rapids area and was looking to lift my truck. I didnt want to go through the Chevrolet dealer and they wanted to charge me way too much just for a simple instal of a 7.5 Rough country suspension lift. I heard about Vehicle accessories through a friend and decided to give them a call and it was the smartest decision I ever made. They charged me 1/3 of the price the dealer wanted to instal the lift, as well as a discount on the entire purchase. As I mentioned before, they know the retail they sell explicitly! I am 18 years old and I was on a budget(about 7K) I knew I would be close to to that by the time everything was said and done. They pointed me in the direction of rims and tires that were very cool yet practical in price(even for 14 wide tires). When the lift was installed, and rims and tires mounted on the truck.. there was an issue with the tire sensors. Since I had 14 wide rims, can be difficult for the tire pressure sensors to read through the wide rims. The tires were installed by the tire dealer(just down the road.. they have a partnership with Vehicle Accessories)it was very difficult for them to calibrate them. At no charge to me, Vehicle Accessories took care of it and had them re-calibrated. By the time every thing was taken care of, I was headed home with a very sharp truck. Though the process of working with Vehicle Accessories, Shaggy, one of the managers there, has done very much to make my experience as smooth as possible. I got to meet the man behind the mask(the guy who installed the lift) Kyle, and he is a really cool guy! If I could give This Vehicle Accessories more stars, I would in a heartbeat! They stand behind their word and are more then people who are trying to make buck, they want you to be happy thought the process! I will definitely be back when I decide I want to make more upgrades to my beauty of a truck. Thank you Vehicle Accessories!

Horrible customer service no one calls you back, After 2 weeks and being told the part was ordered it never was, promised it would be ordered and available within a few days part is WRONG part. Ordered another one and took days just to find out it is the wrong part again!!! They have no idea what they are doing and want to blame it on staff turn over!!! BS someone there needs to take some responsibility! They lost our service and everyone else we know...

Had them install side steps I purchased on the web onto my Jeep Gladiator. Quoted $100 but bill was only $80!!! Took about an hour. Great service.

They have just about every truck accessories availible. esp most of the common offroad acc. they also install just about any acc even if it is just labor on customer bring in used/new parts.

It wasnt the model I was shown ( it was two handles I wanted one) but still happy after waiting so long to get it due to the virous. It was installed right very good job. I would recommend them.

I have almost never left a review for a merchant, but received such outstanding service from Vehicle Accessories of Lansing Michigan that I had to leave a note to share my experience in this case.I needed a hitch installed, and the one I ordered from Amazon arrived damaged. They did everything in their power to assist me even though it was no fault of their own. The person helping me hustled to find a replacement hitch to address my unfortunate circumstance. As it turned out, they were able to get me a hitch, keep my appointment, and get me setup on the same day even though I couldnt use the hitch I was planning to have installed when I drove in for my appointment.The store was clean, and the whole team at Vehicle Accessories was amazing! I cant thank them enough. If I lived in another part of the state, I would drive in to have them service my car in the future. Thats truly how good they are. Worked with Shaggy to have a trailer hitch installed on my car. I shopped around town for the best price before going with Vehicle Accessories, eve though they were recommended to me by a friend who works in the car industry. Not only was Vehicle Accessories the best price I found, but they were also very quick (only took about 30 minutes to install and have me on my way), but the hitch looks great with wiring tucked up and tidy. Would definitely recommend these guys to a friend and will take my car back if I have anything else done!

Came in looking for a tonneau cover for my Colorado. Ryan was extremely helpful and showed me the different types of covers they had in the shop. They didnt have the cover I wanted at the Lansing store, but Ryan had it shipped over from the Flint store. The cover was there and ready when they opened the next day and I was in and out in 10 minutes!

I worked with Shaggy and Bill and was very happy with their professionalism and customer service. I had Vehicle Accessories put a BDS lift on my new 2018 Dodge Ram with air suspension. There was some technical difficulties during the process, one created by my aftermarket 35s that I had put on two weeks before. Shaggy and Bill worked through all the issues, the tire issue included, in the most professional and customer centered way possible! I received constant updates on an action plan that was being done the right way. All areas of the inconvenience were addressed. Outstanding! True test of a business’ character is when things don’t go as planned and how they respond. Vehicle Accessories service at the Lansing location is world class.

Scheduled a window tinting 2 weeks in advance - showed up 15 minutes early as most people do for appointments.They told me Carlos was running late so I wandered around the store for 10 minutes then went and waiting in the lobby for almost 50 minutes. 😡 lucky one of the employees came in to get his lunch and I asked him if Carlos was almost done with my truck - he responded CARLOS wasn’t even there YET!!!!!!😡 so now I’ve been IN the store for nearly an HOUR and not one person came and told me they haven’t even started my truck ??? And no idea when Carlos was going to show up????Not the kinda establishment that I would recommend giving any money too!! This place was the biggest waste of time I’ve ever encountered from a business- RUDE - absolutely NO CUSTOMER service or concern for their customers .And to top it off the Red head guy said it was out of his hands !!! IF communication is out of your hands you shouldn’t be working with the public!!! Absolutely no apologies or concerns equals NO BUSINESS!!!!

I would encourage anyone who plan on doing any up grades to your vehicle to first check out Vehicle Accessories in Lansing, Michigan. They treat you like family and when they say youll be happy there not blowing a bunch of smoke at you to get you cash. Shaggy consistently provides honesty and professionalism as well as the knowledge/expertise I expect from a specialty establishment. For example, he recently helped me troubleshoot a wind noise I was getting as a result of a bug shield I installed myself (purchased elsewhere - I wont do that again) and explained how the change in aerodynamics by introducing the bug shield caused the wind to lift a windshield seal and create a chatter against the windshield at highway speeds. He told me exactly how to fix it and his advice was spot on. I highly recommend this shop and have already done so to several friends and family. Theyve even helped my Granny deck out her Silverado and she couldnt be happier. I cant think of a higher compliment you can give than sending your Granny in on referral. BIG THANKS again to Shaggy and the team!

Wow. Began with very unprofessional phone conversation marked by ignorance of vehicle makes and models. Day of the appt, I had a feeling I should call early to confirm appt time. The first person to answer found my vehicle info and appt time after asking my name, but seemed upset by it. He asked me to hold. Another person answered and began to deny any knowledge of my appt and said that there was nothing on the books. I said there must be something, because the first person I spoke to had my vehicle description and appt time. He asked me to hold. He came back on and said, Ok, I dropped the ball here, he continued to tell me how they had an installer quit and that they were really F&#@D up! He finally agreed to do an inspection in the same time slot. My truck is older but in good if not great shape for its age. I had a feeling they were going to tell me that they could not work on it for one reason or another, because the were now understaffed. I was right. After looking at the truck briefly, another person came out to tell me I had a chip in the bell housing of my transmission and that he was sorry this was not a job for them. I asked what that had to do with the work they were to perform, an alignment and change of torsion keys? He stammered and asked another person, the one that actually looked at the vehicle to come over and explain. He told me that the vehicle had too much rust, and that they would not perform the work. That, at least, made some sense. At this point, I would not have had them change my tire. I thanked the mechanic for his advice and left thinking, Wow! How long will this place stay in business? Total Gen X disconnect. Totally unconscious of their complete lack of customer service, service in general and lack of professionalism, to say nothing of the fact they were wrong on all counts and had outright lied multiple times for no good reason. Just WOW!

The team here at Vehicle accessories is always top notch! They go above and beyond to alway make sure I have the best experience, especially shaggy. Anything ive ever wanted they have readily on hand or rwal clpse by, and are willing to get installed in a quick manor.

These guys were great! We purchased 2 new 2018 vehicles in fall of 2017. Knowing nothing about them, I went into the store to look into getting WeatherTech mats for both vehicles. I was able to get all of my questions answers and purchase all of my husbands right then and there. When we got them home and installed, the hubby was less than satisfied with the WeatherTech cargo mat. Shaggy had no problem returning it for us and even ordered another brand for us to try. Yes, try, to see if we liked it! Fitting much better, we ended up with the Husky brand for his cargo area.As for my vehicle, apparently WeatherTech wasnt up to date with the newest model vehicles so it took a little longer, not Vehicle Accessories fault! Shaggy went over and above; would check the website for ordering capabilities and would even contact me to keep me posted!I can now say that both of our vehicles are fully loaded with WeatherTech/Husky mats thanks to Vehicle Accessories! Shaggy and crew were always very kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable! Helped me carry them out to the car and even helped me put mine in! Its the little things that go far! I would highly suggest using Vehicle Accessories, I know that I will be back!
