Best shop ever!! Extremely fast service, courteous employees. Their main mechanic is super intelligent. They do all of my repairs quick and cheap. I will be a customer for as long as they are there.

Jeff has always took care of me and my wife’s car. He also has some great employees. They definitely look out for us. I can do most myself but they are my go to guys for my more serious mechanic work. They always give it to me straight and they do what needs to be done. Some of the best guys in town!!

Very expensive! Charged me $485 for a hose and to put on a thermostat for a Chevy Cruze. I paid it only because I was in a last minute situation, but NEVER AGAIN! Women robbers! Very shady and unprofessional business! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! And to top it off my car was suppose to be ready that same day they said, but had me waiting around all day just to tell me that the wrong part was sent. Ok, I understand things happen, but be professional and call me to let me know what’s going on. My car wasn’t ready until later the next day which they should have knocked something off the price, but instead they went up on the price. These folks are crooked and will definitely rob you blind.

They are scammers. I took my car too Carolina Garage, Jeff gave me the run around for two weeks. I paid him 1200, car still not fixed, and he is suggesting more money. I will not suggest taking your car there if I was you all.

This business is exactly why some garages have a bad reputation for ripping people off. They are very dishonest. The reviews alone show that. The only one below that says its an honest garage by, Jeff is the actual owner of the garage!!! He reviewed himself pretending to be a customer. That shows his ethics right there.However, to add to that-- on a Friday my husband went to get my car looked at to see how much itd be to fix my AC. A mechanic took a mirror and looked down and told my husband what the problem was and to bring it back Monday and theyd fix it. So, my husband dropped my car off on the following Monday and asked for an estimate to get the AC fixed before they started the work. The owner called my husband back less then a half hour later to tell My husband that what we need done was $650. When my husband told him we were not going to fix it then, the owner, Jeff, said oh I was wrong its only $450. Which was the first red flag-- how you just realize after we say we are not going to have it fixed that you were $200 off? So, my husband said we still are not gonna do it and thats when Jeff said we owe $45 for a diagnostic fee-- something he did not tell us beforehand. So, I called him to ask why he didnt tell us that beforehand. He said, did you ask? I told him no, I am a business owner myself and it is the responsibility of the business to disclose that. He told me I was the first person in 7 years to complain (which I found to be a lie because after talking to him I looked up his shop on every link possible including the better business bureau and not one person had one good thing to say about his shop). I then asked if they had any military discounts. His reply was-- while laughing at me-- on $45? No I dont have no military discounts on $45. Hes very classy as you can tell. AND THEN HE TOLD ME THAT NOW IT WAS GOING TO BE $125 TO GET MY CAR BACK BECAUSE I HAD AN ATTITUDE!!! Now, Im not saying I didnt have an attitude but thats not how you run a business. I told him there was no way I was paying him that. He told me if I want to get my car back it was now $125. He then HUNG UP ON ME and called my husband and was bad mouthing me to my husband. My husband told him he was out of line and not to talk about his wife that way and that he didnt appreciate his tone. Jeff then told My husband the reason for the fee was because he had to remove the radiator and take apart the car to find the problem. Lol. My husband called him out and told him he knows how to work on cars and the only reason hes not fixing whats wrong with it is because he doesnt have the tools and he knows for a fact they didnt remove the radiator and take apart the car because he had the car in his possession for less the 30 minutes and that was impossible to have done all that. Jeff then said, well, no but I would have had to do all that to fix it. Then he told my husband that he would take him to the magistrate and get the $125 bc of my attitude. My husband told him to go ahead and try. He knows the law and he wont get $125 just because he thought I had a bad attitude. Thats when Jeff huffed and puffed and yelled some more and then backed off and said that there would be no charge. Very shady!! And the icing on the cake was when we did pick up my car-- it hadnt moved from the spot it was in, the key was under the mat in the exact same spot, and the driver seat was all the way forward how I had left it. THEY NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT MY CAR. They knew what was wrong with it from the previous Friday. Very dishonest!!! While talking with others in the community about this incident I heard this same from others-- that this shop is dishonest. Do not trust them.

My name is Tiana Hawk, I’m writing to report a company called Carolina Garage based out of Lancaster, SC on 1277 Great Falls Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720, the owner name is Jeffery Wayne Hudspeth. I brung my 2010 Chevy Aveo to this shop back in July 2018. I was advise that I need a engine and if I gave him $1000.00 He will work on my car an place me on a payment plan. Ive gave him $500 on July 27 and the other $500 on Aug 3rd ; when I called on the following Monday I was told my car will be ready within 4 -5 days. I’ve been told every week he was waiting on parts. Then he told me the use engine came in but he had to order a head gasket kit which didn’t make sense .I go look at my car to find out he never changed my engine but try to put me on a payment plan on for the remaining $1800 for something never change. The company been inconvenience me this whole time, been having to spend money on Uber, lyft and Cab, also finding rides to work. As researching I found out he has been ripping other people off as well. Just got my car today Aug 21, 2018.He can’t explain where my $1000 went cause it sure didnt go to my engine.He also try to charge me 150 to pick up my car for a engine he never switched out. I will be sending my car to another shop for review so they can tell me what was messed with on my car. I had updated pictures of before and after pictures on how he tried to clean my engine and other parts off real good to make it look like it was replaced or make it look as if he worked on my car.

Stay away from these robbers, very shady garage, took my car to get front end lined up, told me it needed all kind of stuff so they couldnt line it up, BUT charged me $40 diagnostic fee, heck it wouldnt but 65 to line it up, NEVER AGAIN !!!
