I am saddened by a recent trip to AV bumper to bumper. For the last 3 years I have been taking them my vehicles. I have considered them to be fair mechanics and even recommended them to anyone that had issues with their vehicle. This is why my most recent trip made me feel bad enough to write this review.I took my truck in for an oil leak. Was told what would fix the oil leak. Paid the price for the fix and my oil is still leaking. I called and let them know it was still leaking and was told that it was because I have multiple leaks. If this was the case why wasnt I told in the first place that I had multiple leaks? Had I known that I would have just waited as I do not have money to just throw around in these harsh times.I am highly disappointed and cannot believe I was taken for a fool in this way.

This is the only place I will ever take my car. They are very professional, people oriented. They also very fairly priced. I recommend this auto shop 100%, I wouldnt recommend any other shop above this one. I know the words above and beyond are tossed around a lot, but I really mean it with these people, I once left some brake pads with them for over 6 months, I had forgotten, when I went back to get my car fixed, they gave me back the pads! They dident have have do that. That shows this shops integrity.

Brought my truck in and explained that my brakes didn’t engage unless I pumped the pedal multiple times, plus I needed my rear drums replaced. They diagnosed my entire braking system and within the next day they called and gave me multiple reasonably priced options on repairs. Decided to upgrade the entire system, all new brake lines, new drums, master cylinder/booster & my truck stops better than my daily driven Subaru. They KILLED it. My brakes barely have to be applied for effortless stoppage and for my truck being over 7,000lbs they did a fantastic job. Plus their customer service was INCREDIBLE throughout the entire process. Spent a bunch of money, they fixed my A/C and it went out a couple months later and refused to believe their diagnosis was incorrect. Less than 2 years later, the part they replaced broke and warranty didnt cover. Go somewhere else.

My motor home broke down along Highway 138. My brother, a RV mechanic in Yuma, recommended AV Bumper to Bumper after speaking to several shops in the area. A1 Tow truck company questioned taking RV there since they do not specialize in RVs. I trusted my brother’s advice. JR diagnosed the problem immediately on a Friday and had a specially ordered radiator delivered on Monday morning. Replacement completed the same day. I drove the RV to Yuma and my brother inspected the repair and stated it was impeccable. I am forever grateful to JR and Amy for rescuing this stranded RVer. They went far beyond the call of duty. The folks at AV Bumper to Bumper have done a great job for us. My wifes GMC Yukon needed a number of items repaired and they handled all of it at a much better price than the dealership.They dont jerk you around, trying to get repairs done on items you dont need. Well be going back to them anytime we need any repairs.

When called to get seat heaters installed into my rav4 the lady on the phone said they did installations she then asked her boss who said he didnt want to do it.

Have been going to this family owned and operated repair shop for years. Also has a machine shop, can rebuild engines or other custom work. They rebuilt my 1990 Ford F350 one ton dually transmission, put a special kit in it that makes it shift great. I have a huge Lance camper on it and tow 5,000 lbs to Arizona. Ive had my air conditioning redone, electrical work, trailer brake controllers put on my Ford and RV diesel pusher. The shop isnt clean but who cares, just shows they know how to do Lots of repairs, they are fair, honest and reasonably priced.Look for the old truck with Huge tires on it in front.

Terrible! Do not! They arent even licensed under bumper to bumper!!! Ive taken legal action and have reported it to the appropriate person along with an attorney which so happens to be a close friend of the family. Upon arrival the woman at the desk was smoking, what appeared to be meth!!! and stumbled into the shop starry-eyed after leaving me waiting for ten minutes alone! I decided not to make a deal about it, being she isnt the person working on my cylinder head but wow! I did not know her racist son would be doing it! Do not! Please stop! Funny how they took the time to reply to this review and lie to all of you. Junior the mechanic called me the n word and hung up after saying have a great day, not knowing I had the phone on speaker in front of my four year old son and wife! and then called the police and fabricated a lie to make me look bad. I spoke to the detective and reassured him of my profession,my family and I couldnt believe this shop! The police have so much better things to do than listen to liars because they wouldnt cover the cost of their fault. This shop had my cylinder head for five days and never resurfaced it! I had to take my cylinder head to another shop and upon inspection they realized that av bumper to bumper had broken my oil control valve (ocv) a $104.99 part plus tax!!!! Upon calling them they denied every breaking the sensor. The amateur mechanic Junior knew of the problem as soon as I called and even tried to back step, but how would he know if I hadnt yet presented him with the issue???? Hmmm... Exactly! I will be posting this all over social media! Spread the word! Save your money. Take your machining needs to Adams machining for excellent service

Av bumper to bumper is the ONLY place I will take any of my vehicles or recommend in this valley. I work in the towing industry and anytime anyone asks for a good honest mechanic locally who doesnt waste your time and gets things done right the FIRST time I always always recommend av bumper to bumper and Ive never had anyone come back to me and not have a good experience. If you are looking for decent priced honest hard working mechanics this is the place to go hands down!!!!

Biggest crooks in Antelope Valley! I put new axles in my car and had them do front struts due to not enough time on my hands and they poked holes in my axles and cut my shock bumpers so they would fail all because I bought parts online. There exact words were this will teach him to not go online. They also went through my car cause they knew too well what was inside. Dont bring your car here, they are drug addicts and will screw you which ever way they can!

Great guys. Very honest and will find the problem. Go the extra mile to make sure you have a fixed vehicle. Would recommend to anyone getting engine work or pretty much anything else done. On the not so great side, they dont have a alignment machine and cant do anything for tires. But thats not really their specialty.
