Ive been here multiple times for cloths, sunnies, shoes and wetsuits. Great selection every time.Recently I came in to get a new summer board and was helped by Tanner. He was very knowledgeable with regard to boards and after helping me search through various models fitted me with a Lost Hydra. His recommendation was outstanding, and I had a great first session on the board. Ill be back next time Im in the market for a new board.

Its a nice store with a solid collection of surf and snowboarding gear. Prices seemed reasonable too. One thing I had a challenge to ignore is a variety of clothing items and gear available for men vs women. There were rows and rows of clothing and gear for guys and only a couple articles for ladies. I hope they will broaden their scope and serve all of their clients in the similar capacity.

I will only buy products from these guys. They always have good vibes when I walk in, and genuinely enjoy taking shop about their stuff. The manager mike always goes above and beyond, and has actually butted heads with a manufacturer to help me use a warranty on a wetsuit Ive purchased. These guys are the best and stand behind there stuff. Highly recommend for anything surf, ski or skate 🤙

Hanger 94 is such a cool store! I wanted every single dress they had! Lots of super cute dresses and other womens apparel. Pricey but worth it. And they have xsmall! Oh yeah, and tons of mens apparel and of course just all kinds of sporting goods: skateboards, surf boards, snow boarding gear, etc. But, I just go for the super cute dresses!

I like that they are consistently carrying XL and up. Husky is the new handsome.😘

Ws out of state- skate staff and skate shoes had great customer service. Last week cashiera had poor customer service and ignored me half the time when paying and checking out for a complete skateboard. < 3 yall from tx.sa.

Best local skate shop in San DiegoBeen shopping there all my life but its a little pricey. They always got plenty of staff to help customers out. They have just about any board sport related products, clothes, shoes and accessories. I always thought they had great shop decks for skating but I didnt see any when I was last there. The skate shop is upstairs. They carry all of the best brands

Awesome store with a huge selection. Customer service was outstanding. Got my two boys their first skateboards as well as personal protective gear based off the recommendation of the staff. Will be returning soon to get another board. Highly recommend this place.

Went upstairs to the snowboard section and was helped out by 2 guys! Very helpful and informative. Taught me some things to look out for when shopping for boots and wasnt pushy on sales more concerned about if I was comfortable. My fiance got a pair but I unfortunately was unable to find a pair of boots since it was closer to the end of the season so stock was wiped out.

1st time snowboarder who’s buying gear and it’s awesome to have staff knowledgeable about the place there working at. Tanner was awesome! He helped me from board to bindings and even set up my snowboard for me! Wasn’t trying to get me to buy things I didn’t need. When I actually went snowboarding I had a really great time and it all started with my board set up so thank you tanner!

It was another succeful visit to this store. The staff is very professional and attentive but Colton at the snowboard departament truly made our visit an instant success. We brought our vintage Burton and he used his magic for the bindings to work. He was quick, knowledgable and very helpful so we could get all we needed efficiently. We saved tons of money too as many quality items are on sale. Thanks again! We’ll be back!

These guys were not only knowledgeable, but super pleasant and patient when helping me try on snowboard boots.These guys must have their sales tracked or work on commission, but they had a no pressure, customer service based approach.I hope to come back and buy a pair once I’m done with my research. Make sure you will not be returning any expensive items, otherwise youll be stuck trying to figure out how to spend store credit on things you dont necessarily need or budget for.Keeping it at 5 stars because I want to support local, support the kids that work there and they have a right to set their own policies. I just wish they would mention that upon checkout, especially for large purchases.

Hit and miss! cashier rude three days ago. guy comes up immediately to help and I asked where the side bytes are he didn’t know what I was talking about. SERIOUSLY! I just laughed and walked away, i then asked an older guy where they were, he told me in the corner and they had just gotten a shipment…wrong again!!! they were upstairs! what kinda peeps you have working milo!!!? another kid was friendly where the side bytes actually were…good prices for what it’s worth, customer service is aggressive and sub par.

Went here to get that new 4-3 winter wetsuit for surfing. All the guys upstairs love talking surf and gave me the the run down on a couple different suits, I ended up with xcell pro comp. With recent water temps dropping this has definitely kept me warm. Ill be back soon to get some booties.

Hi, today was my second time at this store. First time I was at the store 3 weeks ago to buy a wetsuit for my daughter and today for my son. Both times we spent for about an hour at the store just trying to find the perfect fit. The employees are super friendly but my only concern is that the AC WAS NOT ON !!!! both times while we were there.The outside temperature was about 87F and inside was even more, especially upstares in the small changing room. My son had a difficult time to put the wetsuit on, because he was sweating a lot and could not bread under the mask . Even my daughter and I had hard time to breath. We wanted to look for more stuff but he didnt feel well and was very exhausted and we left. I am very disappointed with the way you are taking care of your customers besides the friendliness and professionalism of the employees.

Love this place! I got a pair of Reef flip flops from there close to 10 years ago that FINALLY needed replacing, havent failed but will soon. Wife said Nobody has flip flops now theyre out of season... Hanger 94 has an ENTIRE SECTION of flip flops! I didnt get in the door before I was greeted and offered assistance. I was approached by 4 different employees within less than 5 minutes! Thats customer service! Absolutely recommend shopping there 1000%

5 stars just for Alex and Haydens help! Its not just that they saved me some money, they were stoked on snowboarding, and willing to try a few old parts to help me out, and take the time to do it. 5 stars, they are the reason shopping locally is worth it!

Ive been going to hanger 94 for about ten years now . It all about quality here but you have to be willing to part with some cash as quality doesnt come cheap here. Id do like the good selection here and you wont hear any say oh, he got that at wallmart

This place is great! We went in looking for a birthday gift and the entire staff was super helpful. Some prices are a bit high, but the brands are quality and if you have a problem with what you purchase, they are happy to take it back. The mens section is much larger than the womens, but they have great items on sale.

I pick up all my snowboard gear here, JB and the staff are super knowledgable on all the newest gear because they ride it. Only 4 stars because of the no cash back return policy. You only get store credit, no matter what. Just know that going in. Prices are what youd expect from a large store but you get the brands you want. If you get new snow or skate gear, have an expert set it up for you. Ill be back every time I want anything snow. Thanks JB!

I have been shopping at Hanger 94 for 25 years. I started shopping at Hanger 94 when they never carried longboard skateboards. They said they were too expensive to stock on the shelves. I had them order my first longboard. I now have 12 longboards skateboards. The best shop to get skateboard.

1st visit ever, and was never attacked by sales personnel. hell, i didnt even know that the owner of the shoppe was the one who was assisting me. goes to show, be kind to strangers, theyll be kind in return. i ended up buying a new board/stomp pad, boots, gloves, pants, and socks. ever so helpful along the entire way, was the crew. i only spent an hr there and walked away knowing that i spent money/invested money thru better decision making because i was kept informed by the knowledgable, like-family-oriented staff.

Cocktails and many premium and craft beers 🍺 make this place buzz with excitement. Well apportioned, spacious and decorated in an airplane themed fashion it is a great 👍 place to meet someone or arrive solo and make friends. Nice 🍸 bartending staff and delicious appetizers to boot.

Good selection of snow and surf

Its a cool place with many selections. They have sales which are pretty good. Some staff was okay but others checking in alot as if you were up to no good. They dont give you breathing room to shop. When you are looking to buy something which you already know the item, the staff can be insistent that they are the expert in the matter. Not cool in my book.

Been here a half dozen times now. Always found the best prices on surf stuff, even compared to online. Staff seem to be very friendly and helpful. Plus as an added bonus theres free popcorn

Best selection around for Snowboard gear. For this reason alone I have to rate 5 stars. From Oceanside to Chula Vista there isnt anyone that has the inventory of Hanger 94. In North County Hansens is the only other place that has a respectable inventory. Hanger 94 is worth the drive!
