Supervisor Ramon was very rude and not helpful at all. My pregnant daughter went in for 4 new tires and one of the rim was bend, they noticed the problem and never gave us a call to let us know, they went ahead a did all tires knowing the rim was bend because they tried to fix it. When my daughter drove off the tire became flat, she returned and they told her they couldnt do anything about it and very rudely told her it was her fault we had to come all the way from st cloud to kissimmee to see what was the problem, after spending $800 dollars on tires and replacement the supervisor did not care and kept telling my husband it was my daughters fault. Instead of try to fix the problem we had to come up with solutions. Horrible experience.

We were on vacation from another state. We had tires purchased from pep boys that were 3 weeks old and one had 2 nails in it. Two other locations were unable to help us due to staffing shortage and workload. This location was terrific. The managing guy at the front desk said he would take care of us and he did. They replaced the tire as we had road hazard protection. We only waited an hour which was good since it was Saturday. We were very pleased as we were desperate to get it fixed and get back to our vacation. I cant say enough about how nice the managing guy at the front desk is.

I wouldn’t do business at this location they claim they will check your vehicle but they try to sell u things you don’t need without even looking at your vehicle They claimed my truck with 40k miles needed new brakes and rotors. I took it to 2 shops down the road from them and they informed my brakes has a long way before they’ll need any replacement. Go somewhere else where u you’ll find honest mechanics that know what they are doing and not try to sell to sell you what u don’t need and not a bunch of want to be that will tell you a list of items needed without even looking at your vehicle

Don’t be lead on. As a woman I find it extremely insulting that in order to get a status update on my vehicle I had to have a man call. Anytime I would call my calls would be answered and placed directly on hold with not even a hello. Finally get my car back after getting the run around for 2 days and the tint on my drivers side window seems to have been peeled and intentionally placed back on incorrectly. Terrible service.

Last night, my family and I had our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan serviced at this Pep Boys location by Ramon(extremely nice guy!)and we witnessed handsdown the absolute best auto service Ive ever received! The workers addressed my vehicles issue with top notch service & care. This place goes above and beyond to ensure that a customer is satisfied. My family and I were 16 hours away from Ohio(where were from) and this placed is the reason we can make it home! We are extremely grateful to have received such enthusiastic, kind/generous treatment & service from the workers. In particular, Ramon! If one chooses this location, definitely ask for Ramon. Had a 130p appointment and they didnt take my car in until 330pm not to mention the absolutely atrocious way one of the employees conducted themselves cussing continuously on Spanish and when someone asked he stop he decided to heavily mock the person after they left. Always take my car to get serviced here, for anything and I can actually say they always give me a straight up answer of what my car needs. I ask allot of questions and they all have been awesome on answering. Had 2 new tires put on about 3-4 months ago on discount price at that time went to get the other 2 yesterday, gave me the same discounted price for them, that was great! Bad experience with them. Order tires 2 days in advance. Made an appointment for 8:30 in the morning to get there and be told that they should arrive by 12. Had to call them at 12, then to be told maybe tomorrow at 12 again. Better off calling Discount Tire to get the same tire for cheaper. Atleast try to price match.

I would like to say that the service and the amount of time I spent waiting was positive however I just dont think they did enough. For instance on the receipt it doesnt mention that they checked the usual things. I expect them to check the battery, filters, the headlights, break lights, and well the list goes on. My car is high mileage and so I pay for that so For the money I pay to get my oil changed on my car I would expect all this and more to be done and then written on the receipt or a receipt that has all of what should be done when getting an oil changed and a check mark next to each job done. At least I would of left with peace of mind Instead I am still wondering if any of what they said they did really was done. I would of given a higher rating but I think a 3 star is appropriate. I hope the policy in that is currently active concerning oil changes is improved. thank you,,

I went to Pep boys with a warranty claim issue for my stock Michelin tires. Once on the same page, they happily completed the process for me. I have experienced in the past, from the dealership I bought the vehicle from, a real headache when trying to make a warranty claim. This was NOT the case here. In and out in about two hours, including tire inspection, contacting Michelin, arriving at a solution, and mounting 4 new tires of my choice, paying only for balancing, mounting, and road hazard. Over a $1k package, for only $170, due to circumstances of course. Not typical. Happier than a pig in poo nonetheless.

Ive used Pep Boys in TX and FL for years. Their warranties were reliable and service was good. Regrettably, my last experience was blemished. The wrong lug nuts, larger than other wheels, were installed after installation of new wheel bolts. Suggested remedy by service manager was to buy a new wrench and drive without the hubcap. If the hubcap was impotant, I could find some online. So, I took the time to explain my disappointment in reply to their satisfaction survey. Four weeks later and they havent replied. Until now, after 20 plus years, I was a happy customer.

Car key was stuck in ghe ignition. I was told they would diagnose for $120, and that they could not guarantee solving the issue. My car was running and hot on the parking lot. Not saying Pep Boys is a bad business but the clerk was Smug, unsympathetic, disappointing. I walked out.

I went in for an oil change and they completely disassembled my car and tried to upsell me for like two thousand dollars worth of work. I said no of course and almost THREE HOURS LATER my oil change was done. Which is absolutely insane as it is but they also put my car back together messed up and my alignment is way off, I now have to steer wildly to go down a straight road and it’s most likely ruining my tires. I’m not going to take it back to them to fix it obviously so now I have to take off of work and pay someone else to fix what pep boys screwed up. This also happened to me once before at a different location and I forgot about it or else I wouldn’t have come here in the first place.

Ramon was our rep when we came to get our car checked and I’m grateful that he was; dude has great customer service skills, was really patient, and made us feel at ease when I was getting overwhelmed. TL;DR: Was charged ~$400 for a new set of pads and rotors to alleviate a sound coming from the wheels when driving. Turns out the issue was the backing plate just needed to be pulled back.Went to this location a few days ago in regards to a concern about a scraping sound emanating from the front driver’s side during movement. I explained the problem to the service advisor and he said they would look at the vehicle. After a few minutes, he returns and tells me that the issue is due to needing new pads and rotors in the front. He goes on to say that it is recommended that I replace the rear brakes and rotors as well and replace the brake fluid as it seems contaminated. I agree to the front pads and rotors, but waive the rear pads and rotors and brake fluid as I had recently changed those.About an hour later, I am notified that my car has been completed. I pay ~$400 and my keys are returned to me. I get into my car and was about to blast On My Level by Wiz Khalifa as the bass in that song is crazy. However, I decide against it and reduce the volume to zero in order to make sure the scratching sound is gone. As I drive around the lot, I notice the sound is still there.I return to the store and tell a different service advisor that I was just there about my brakes and the scratching sound remains. He tells me that they will check it out immediately. About 15 minutes later, my keys are returned to me by the original service advisor. I am told that the sound was due to the backing plate scraping against the rotor and the technician pulled it back. He apologizes to me and says that he did not get a chance to test the vehicle as he was so busy. I accept his apology and I am off on my way.As I am driving away, I get to thinking: I do not think I actually needed new pads and rotors; the problem was the backing plate and all that needed to be done for the backing plate to be pulled back. Now I do not fancy myself as a person who is very knowledgeable about cars, but I am about 85% certain my hypothesis is correct.At the end of the day, I have new pads and rotors sooner than later which is cool I guess. GG on swindling me out of ~$400 for something that could have been fixed for much cheaper. I will not be returning to this location. I should have just gone to the dealership for the make of my vehicle.

Please, please please do not go to the store I took my vehicle in for tires and alignment and even after spending almost 450$ they thought it wasn’t enough and ended up stealing the center cap to one of my wheels. Spoke with the manager and explained to him that most people who complain about stuff like that want discounts that I wouldn’t accept a discount didn’t want it I asked him to have someone throw my center cap on the floor and I wouldn’t take this any further. They showed me in a camera view where you can’t see my vehicle one of their employee holding my wheel to the camera without a center cap or a tired. Mind you they must remove all center caps to be able to balance the tires.

Sadly, I need to change my 5 star rating because I realized this whole time I was getting my oil changed, my tires werent being rotated. I noticed because I hardly clean my front rims well so those same rims have been on the front for a year now. My tires were NEVER rotated. I even brought my old car to them and I had an accident in that car due to the tires. I dont think thats a coincidence seeing as Im now wondering if those tires were ever rotated like they said. I need to find another shop

There should be a 0 rating for this place. I paid $1200 for four new tires mounted and balanced on my truck. They had my truck all day which wasn’t a problem, but at the end of the day a rude female called to tell me that I had a broken wheel stud and it would cost $85 to replace it. When I questioned the fact that it wasn’t broke when I came in, she offered to fix it for $65. I told her hell no and I was coming to get my truck. She never fixed my wheel stud and there was no manager I could speak to. The next day, my wife’s battery is dead in her car. Any other store, you can pull up and get a battery tested no problem. I figured I would go to the same store, talk to the manager about my wheel stud and get my battery checked. They tell me I’m going to have to wait at least 45 minutes to get my battery checked and the manager didn’t come in today. I told them I wasn’t waiting, went outside and the car would not start because dead battery, so, I cooled off a bit and went back in to buy a battery and get installed. It took them two hours to install a battery in my wife’s car. The two female greeters didn’t speak a word of English, they stared at me like I had two heads when I told them I needed a battery. The male and especially the female at the service registers were very rude and shouldn’t be dealing with the public at all. I love Pep Boys but this store is beyond horrible. No automated response needed, you don’t care and I will not be back

Had a really disappointing oil change experience at Kissimmee pep boys recently. Made a 2pm appointment for an oil change earlier in the week and asked for them to rotate the tires and use high mileage oil. Oil change took 2 HOURS and my tires were not rotated even though my receipt stated it was done. No fluid level checks no nothing I left there and topped off my own fluids at home. Sticker in my car says reg oil, receipt shows I paid for high mileage. Over all just really disappointed and workers seem intentionally slow and take many breaks walking away from the vehicles frequently within a few hour time frame even in the afternoons. Will not be back

Had a flat tire and only 2 hrs to get my car 2 new tires before my next shift to work. Most tire shops in the area close at 6pm and didnt have the size. After several attempts I called store #0310Wilfredo worked a way around my budget and helped me find a fair deal and provided an estimate for the complete job. He is very professional and competent. I never write reviews but I feel this location is out to get your money nothing else. I spent 1,400 dollars getting my car repaired for them to tell me a day laterthat there was another issue and would have to charge me another $200 dollars I feel like I got scammed! Not only did they not repair and diagnose my car properly they damaged the hood of my car! It wont close all the way now so dont bring your car here unless you want to get ripped off or your car damaged. You guys just lost a good customer!

I spent $1400 to fix my car .I went back one day later to the place and asked why the service light was on . They wanted to charge me more money and told me was a different issue. Raymond introduced himself as a manager with attitude and told me I had to pay, even knew I was there 48 hours before fixing the car .Unbelievable how scam this place is !! So I’m here telling people to be careful with this place .——— 24 hours later after this review customer service contacted me and asked me to email my concerns. I did contact customer service and I was really surprised. The store called me apologizing and Marco the store manager was responsible for my car issue . Appointment is worthless.A few days ago I made an appointment for a check up of my car. It’s a new car and I just wanted to see if the fluids were ok. I arrived on time. I waited in the store one and a half hours and the car was still sitting in the parking lot. When I inquired what was happening, the customer rep merely said that they had not been able to check the car yet. At that point, I said that I would not waste additional time and was ready to leave. He said that they would look it in five minutes. I said I was ready to leave since I found very unfair that me and my wife waisted 1 1/2 hours. The customer rep was pleasant but he offered no apologies and did not seem to care a bit. I cannot blame him for his lack of empathy but I decided to take the car because the guy was really indifferent; he was not mean or unpleasant, he simply did not care. I have been a loyal client for many years and despite ups and downs in their service, I keep going to that business. My opinion is that this store is very inconsistent. Sometimes you can get terrific service while other times you can get terrible service. To make things worse, after I left, I received an email which misstated facts indicating that because I had cancelled my appointment, they could reschedule another appointment. They made me waste 1 1/2 hours and still no apologies but they wanted my business. There is a very helpful guy named Ramon but this time I was not lucky to have Ramon helping me. If I ever give them another chance, I will only ask for Ramon.

I made a 4pm appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. 2 hours later my vehicle is completed and my tires were never rotated. After 2 confirmations from the tech and the sales rep I had to show them how I knew for a fact my tires were not touched. At that point I was given an apology and explained that they had the vehicle in question confused with another. Although the customer service was great, I feel a little disappointed for being lied to and having to wait as long as I did for a 30 minute job (as advertised) by many other businesses and in my past experiences with my vehicles.

I own a 2005 Mazda 6 series. With roughly 120k miles. 2.3 L 4-Cylinder engine. Shes my everyday car. I need her to work. So I need regular maintenance.If youre like me, I strongly recommend Pep Boys. As for mechanics. I would recommend you to who I go to, Raymond. Hes very kind. Always searchs for deals for you. Hes speaks both English and Spanish. Guys down to earth.From what I gathered, what deters most people from Pep Boys is the price. Why spend an extra 100$ bucks on this fix if this smaller local shop will do it for cheaper. Dont get me wrong, no issues with small automotive businesses. Hell they do as well as a job as Pep Boys. Just pray that fix wasnt botched. With Pep Boys you know if they make a mistake, and mistake do happen mechanics are human too, you have warranty on that repair. So just bring it in and if they did screw up, theyll fix it for free. True story. Happened to me!Now how about parts. That where most of the cost of repairs come from. Simple solution, just buy the parts yourself and bring it in for Pep Boys. As long as you discuss it with your mechanic first, theyre fine with it. Nine out of ten times theyll help you buy the correct parts for them. For example, when I had to replace my intake manifold, they charged us what the parts distributor would charge Pep Boys. It was roughly 500$. Later on I discovered if I simply did some research, I could have ordered the same part. With the same quality. For 150$. But no harm no foul. Lesson learned.Pep Boys is reliable and consistent. If you go out of your way to look into it, they have countless deals on a daily. Just ask. Or go in their website and subscribe to their newsletter. It helps.My only complaint is when ever they do work on my car. They dont clean up after themselves. They track all kinds of oil into my car. And finger prints! Dont get me started on finger prints!5 Stars. Would recommend.

So went to this location because my tire was running low on air. Gave the keys to the worker on duty and I asked him how long would it take and he said about a hour. Well 1 hour later and nothing, when I asked what is taking so long, he replied the Mechanic on duty took off. Wow! Terrible service. I would not recommend this shop, especially with all the competitors so close.

Great customer service !!!I had an alternator fail on my wifes SUB. That alternator was a remanufactured unit purchased at a different Pep Boys a few years ago and came with a limited lifetime warranty. I took it to Pep Boys in Kissimmee last night for a replacement, but they did not have it in stock. They told me they would have one sent over from another store and that I would be able to pick it up in the morning. When I got there this morning, they apologized and said that the other store sent them an old, dirty used one, but that they should have the proper one that afternoon. When I told them that would be fine but to call me when it came in because it was a ten mile trip each way for me to get to their store, the manager overheard me. He offered to check their inventory for a brand new unit (not a remanufactured unit), and he had one in stock. He gave me that one without charging me any more for it (even though the cost was significantly higher). I am very pleased with the service at this store and especially with the integrity of the manager.

We are tourists from Ontario staying in the Orlando area. We experienced a hesitation when trying to start our vehicle. On our way back from from St Cloud we stopped here for help thinking the problem might be battery terminal contact. The two gentlemen behind the counter were absolutely amazing. It was nearing closing time and they were very busy. They fixed us up with a terminal cleaning kit so I could do the job myself and $10 and 45 minutes later we were on our way. They treated us like we were lifetime customers. These two gentlemen exemplified customer service like we have not seen for a long time. Thank you.

I made an appointment the day before on my phone for 8am and checked in a few minutes after 8. Then at 9am walked to the front of the store and saw my car had not moved. I asked about my car an he said it had not been looked at and then said oh we’re running behind. It had been an hour. Which he should of told us as check in they were running an hour behind. Just disrespectful and rude to not mention it. The customer service person continuously sneezed all over his hands and arms and would touch the phone, key board, peoples keys and paperwork. It was disgusting to watch happen for over an hour. Not once did he use hand sanitizer or wash his hands and no one else seemed to care. Finally my car was looked at and were were given the cost. Then I told them I needed my car for noon because of work. He said he would put two mechanics on it to make it happen as it was past 930 now. At 1150 I got a call to head over. Arrived at 1220 from my Uber and did the payment and paperwork and was told 3 more minutes. 10 minutes later I watched them lower my car an keep it there. At 1245 went over and asked where the heck my car was. I was already now late for work since I was told my car would be ready at noon not 1245 an then they finally got my car for me and I left. It was an overall very frustrating experience. The waiting area was also not that good and it started to rain. When I had returned for my car pick up there were 3 big buckets in the middle of the waiting area full of water. And a wet floor. Pretty pathetic place.

Please don’t go to this place because I didn’t have a choice because it was close to my house and they change my vehicle oil on 04/24/20 and 04/30/20 I realised my car was making noises in the engine when I check it there was no oil inside and engine was dry inside and I think they didn’t put no oil in it and that was there mistake or they have to give a new engine or give me a warranty I drive six days with no oil without knowing and they charge me $80.71 Please don’t go to this place or you will maybe have the same experience like I did. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Please make me a favor and don’t go for anything to this horrible place. My father when there to buy me 4 rims for my new car, it took over a month to my rims come and they told me it would take 7 days, LIARS!!! I went there because my rebates didn’t go through but the manager told me to not come back and trying to fix myself by the website, I called many times and you know what the promotion they offer me didn’t apply for my rims! Horrible place! Rude manager, please don’t waste your time and money!
