I thank God for sending my family and I to Cleo Bay Honda. Theyre a quality company that I wouldnt mind recommending. The salesman we had was Mr. Johnny Walker. Mr. Walker is not one of those salesman that tries to sale you anything just to make a sale. He cares about how that vehicle will be useful to you even when you have driven it off the lot. He is straight to the point and will also educate you. I would recommend anyone needing a good reliable car to go see Cleo Bay Honda and ask for Mr. Walker. Theyre also getting new inventory.

I mentioned really wanting a 2019 Civic Hatchback, with low mileage, to Josh, one of the Sales Associates. He said that they dont come in too often, but he would contact me if one did...I fully expected he was just being polite, but he actually called me a couple weeks later and I asked him to go ahead and run my credit so we could hold it while I drove up to come take a look.This was literally the best experience at a car dealership that I have ever had! He was so friendly and helpful and made the process a breeze. I also got a really good trade-in value and he even helped me when I joked about moving all of my stuff to the new car.On top of the excellent sales associates, the finance guy (Mac) I worked with, was really friendly and thorough.10/10 would recommend buying you new or used car here. If hes available, ask for Josh.

I just purchased my vehicle through Cleo Bay Honda, my salesman was Dustin Carter and he was absolutely amazing. He worked to try and find the vehicle I wanted within my price range. I’ve been looking for an HR-V for a little while and I was skeptical about the Dealerships in the area but Cleo Bay was great, no BS hidden fees or “market adjustments mark ups.” They were also very understanding about the services I needed and did not push to upsale products or services I did not want or need.Thank you Cleo Bay, I will definitely be recommending Dustin Carter to all my friends!

This is by far the most unpleasant, inconvenience, unsatisfying car buying experience I have ever had. This post is 40k too late. Buyers beware‼️ If you see any flaw in a vehicle that you are deciding to purchase DO NOT BUY UNTIL THE REPAIRS ARE COMPLETE! Never go by a salesman in this case saleswoman word of mouth because that’s all they remember is the sale. Make sure all remedies are annotated in advance on your sales contract. As a buyer why would I only acknowledge one area of cosmetic noticeable damage? The sale managers only response was you are buying a used car!!! With only 26k miles. These people are so incompetent that they have had my car for the past week and I still haven’t received my licenses plates. So yes I will be back up to Cleo bay for the 5th time. Cause of their incompetence and unprofessional salespersons. The same sales person that told me painting my car would only take 1 hr. Not to mentioned after buying I noticed the front right tires didn’t match the other 3 tires on the vehicle. But like the sales manager sale said it’s a used vehicle.

I had never taken my car to a dealership because they’re notorious for being expensive. I took my car in because I really didn’t have the money to spend to fix it twice and hoped they would be honest and fix it. They gave me a new battery and alternator and charged me over a grand which is fine. But a couple weeks later I had the same issue and then a couple days later my car died. I called the dealership and they told me to pay to have to car towed and then I’d have the privilege of paying them to fix the same problem again. They said a manager would call me and it’s been a week so I imagine they probably won’t.

I had been looking to buy an HRV for a while; one of my coworkers mentioned he purchased his at Cleo Bay and recommended I go there.I texted them at around noon telling them what I was looking for and they immediately got back to me with availability.I got there at around 1 and met with Dustin. He was super helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. I’ve heard stories about being in a dealership for hours on end. I was able to trade in my old car and drive off with a brand new one in about 2 hours.Also, they even took care of my coworker for referring me to them.All in all, excellent experience. The absolute worst place in central Texas to have your Honda serviced. Due to COVID they started offering a courtesy to pick your vehicle up, perform the scheduled services, and bring your vehicle back to you. Sounds good, except there is no walk around when picking the vehicle up, and when getting the vehicle back you’re going to get it in a worse condition than you had it before, and the dealership refuses to take ownership of the damage that they caused! A simple oil change and tire rotation, turned I to having the driver side front fender, and door panel damaged and dinged and scratched. Took pictures and called the dealership and they are deflecting saying it could have happened in the parking lot and not their problem. Instead of asking the technician that worked on the car to own up to their mistake. Then not wanting to repair the damage they caused stating that their body shop person only comes in once a week and he’s a third party so they can’t really know his schedule or anything like that. I have never been so disrespected by a dealership that we have been going to for years and bought many vehicles through.

I called up to Cleo Bay around 5 to see how much a would it cost to have a key programmed to my Carthage I bought online. The key is an OEM Honda key.As soon as I asked if they were able to the lady rudely replied and assumed “uhhh we won’t be able to CUT that key” I told her that I didn’t need a key cut the vehicle is push to start and all I need is the keyfob to be programmed to the vehicle. I can just hear the disgust and rudeness in her voice. She then tells me to come up and it’ll be $75 to program it rather it works or not, cool I’m fine with that even though I know it’ll work.I then rush to Honda and ask, who I’m sure I was on the phone with givin the attitude she had, if I can have the key programmed. She then tells me it takes about an hour to have it programmed & they can’t do it today. WHY DIDNT SHE TELL ME THAT BEFORE TELLING ME TO COME HAVE IT PROGRAMMED??? I also know it doesn’t take an entire hour I’m a tech in another dealership and it literally takes a few minutes, instead of lying cause your ready to go home I’d appreciate complete honesty. Garbage customer service.

We called the dealer Friday Aug. 07 2020 and got Joshua Gibbs on the phone. We saw this 2019 ram 2500 Laramie Night edition for sale at Cleo Bay Honda in Killeen Tx. After talking to Joshua he sent us a credit app to do and send back to him. We live in Amarillo Tx, almost 8 hours away. Sent it back and he started working the deal. We knew this was the truck we wanted and had been waiting for and if it was right then everything would fall into place. After few calls back and forth with Joshua Saturday at noon he said we are good to haul butt down and get our new truck! The trip down Joshua checked in on us several times and stressed not to hurry and be safe. We got to Killeen around 9pm and Joshua and the manager stayed and welcomed us in to sign. We all chatted for a bit and took pictures. This by far was our best experience with a dealer! Joshua was amazing and went out of his way to make this deal easy and smooth! It is stressful buying a $70,000 truck over the phone but he made it easy. Cleo Bay Honda is a beautiful dealer and we would recommend them to everyone! Thanks again for our beautiful truck and making a new friend!

Wow who ever knew that buying a car could be this easy? Cleo Bay Honda is in danger of changing the image all of us have about dealing with used car sales departments. What happened to the days of high pressure sales people who only seemed to want to sell a car to you at all costs? Thats sure not the way they operate at Cleo Bay Honda.We had to expand our search to Killeen from our home town of Austin because we were looking for a particular model of a Honda CR-V. Cleo Bay Honda had a small selection of vehicles we were interested in. Tony Pagan our salesman, responded quickly to me via text to a request I had placed wanting to come up to test drive the cars and met us the next morning. He was very knowledgeable about the inventory and assisted us with all of our concerns and was even good enough to accommodate a few additional last minute requests we had for test drives of other vehicles. We decided almost on the spot that the quality of the vehicle we were interested in was the one we wanted to purchase. The only thing we had to work out was the final price. It was amazing to think of Tony actually working for US when he set off to discuss our price point with his sales manager. We felt we were making a really good deal.The use of the Carfax service at no charge to us is a great guarantee that the vehicle we were purchasing was top notch. I have always used this service in the past when searching for used cars and thanks to Cleo Bay Honda did not find it necessary to purchase the service at this time.We were planning on paying for the vehicle out right but had to head back to Austin to transfer some money around in accounts. My plan was to return to Killeen the next morning when Tony was good enough to suggest that the vehicle could be delivered to our home the next morning.From start to finish the folks at Cleo Bay Honda handled this purchase incredibly well for us and we have been very satisfied with our car but more so out of the fine treatment we received from Tony Pagan and the folks at Cleo Bay Honda that day. Update: Cleo Bay worked with First Texas and paid for a new battery so we didn’t have to drive to Killeen. We appreciate them fixing this for us!My husband and I bought a certified ore-owned 2017 CR-V on Friday. The battery died Saturday night. We jumped it and took it to First TX Honda this morning and they confirmed the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. It’s of course only covered under the factory warranty so it would cost us $250+ to replace it. They told us to call Cleo Bay and see if they’d replace it. In their words, this definitely should not have happened. We are calling Cleo Bay first thing so they can fix this for us. Hopefully they will and I can give a better, updated review.

Yesterday we called and were told we could leave our car there overnight to be fixed the next day. My husband and and I drove from Temple separately to drop it off. He was told he could not leave his car. They called the next morning to say the part had come in and set up a time to come get it fixed. When he arrived he was told his time was irrelevant and he just had to sit around and wait. They also ended up misquoting and over charging. They ordered the wrong part because they did not even bother to check the vehicle before ordering the part and then blamed us! Terrible service and not trustworthy at all. We will never use them again and let our friends know not to, either. We will drive to Waco instead. We own 2 Honda’s. STAY AWAY!

Ok Ill be honest. Couple years ago, exactly in 2016 I went in fl to Westley Chapel Honda to get a civic. They tread me really bad and they told me that I never going to be able to buy that car. I got really disappointed with Honda cause was the car of my dreams. I came here last year and it was a different story. The service here and the financial help that they gave me here let me take the car of my dreams with 0 down payment. The service here is amazing and the car is just perfect. Every time that I come for a oil change and service I fell like home. In addition they clean my car out side and make my tires shine. Looks like brand new. Im completely thankful with cleo bay honda. My experiences with the Honda Service team has always been positive up until this point. I cam in for an oil change and drove off with my front window molding hanging off. Took the car back up to the shop was was told by the manager, it was unknown how it came off or when and they werent responsible. Why would I drive almost 30 minutes after work for something I could afford to fix if I was at fault. Again Texas Honda as really disappointed me and I will never return to this location.

Everyone here was great! I didnt have anyone trying to sell me a vehicle that was over priced or felt pressured to buy something I did not want. The prices are great and they work with you 110% of the way and will easily explain anything you do not underatand or need any kind of help with. I went to Cleo-Bay Used Cars right after having my only transportation stolen and totaled. I had come down with the flu two days before as well and was hard pressed for a work vehicle. Tammy, the finance manager, quoted me a descent price, I was called to the office & was sat down in front of another finance officer and my contract. Tammy came in to the office and tried to slip in another contract that was $200 over her original quote, just to see if Id sign it. It must work or they wouldnt have tried it. In fact, it was explained to me by the attorney generals office that switching an agreed upon contract with one that yields a higher payment is signed more then one would think. Finance preys on the unfortunate, desperate consumer. I suggest to shop at least 3 or 4 dealerships, even if you have to go out of town, and to completely avoid Cleo-Bay Honda.

Dishonest, greedy and shady. Took my civic with a known A/C condenser leak with photo proof and they acted like it didnt exist. Said it was the compressor seal instead. Just their way to save the cost of repairing a faulty UBDER WARRANTY part.

Great service--lots of help getting us into the car we wanted. Edwin Williams worked with us over several days. We were replacing a car that had been totaled, and he was very patient with us when the insurance company took its sweet time getting us our settlement. I have used the service department with my previous car, and they are always friendly and efficient as well. Highly recommend this dealership, and Honda cars.

The sales team has been great. The only issue I have (and its a big one) is that when I bought the car it had a slight pull to the passengers side that only got worse. I had taken it in for an alignment that didnt fix the issue much. 5 months later with an oil change and tire rotation, the pull to the passengers side is worse that ever. To the point that while accelerating from a stop to 25, I almost veered into a car beside me. When I called, the receptionist at the desk, said the service department was closed for the day. Call back in the morning. I was sitting on the side of the highway, panicking to continue to drive. Her advice to me in jest was to drive home slowly. I get that she was trying to ease the situation, but it didnt make the drive home any easier. Ill see what happens when I get ahold of the service department again.

Can’t speak on the sales side but if you need service on your vehicle, go literally anywhere else. Appointments are a waste of time because they’ll take anyone who walks in before you. I’ve been called to cancel my appointment on two separate occasions because they were too backed up from walk ins.

The service was excellent! The staff put a light in my day. They were so warm, friendly, and oh so helpful! They make you feel like family! We were in and out in less than an hour (needed repairs on tires). My daughter is a HUGE fan of Cleo Bay Honda!!
