This is my favorite place in Kihei. When I am here, I come every day for my sunset smoothies. My husband loves the dragonfruit warrior smoothie and gets that every day. The flavors in both of these smoothies are just spot on. Their burger is also great and I like their Nori rolls. You can’t go wrong with this market. Thank you for all the yummy food selections.

Conveniently located in Kihei. Mainland visitors dont expect everything that you can get on a mainland whole food type store. Prices were reasonable. Quality was good.

We shop there every week for our picnic on the beach, and even though the salad bar had to close due to Covid restrictions, we were always able to get a variety of delicious, healthy and fresh pre-packed salads. The staff is friendly, and service consistent. Always a pleasant shopping experience. Thank you!

We discovered Hawaiian Moons Natural Foods on our vacation, and ended up going back everyday - multiple times a day. They have great açai bowls, coffee, and smoothies for breakfast and sandwiches, salads, and wraps for lunch and dinner. Our personal favorites were the vegetarian breakfast sandwich, super green açai bowl, vegan burger and nori wrap. Can’t wait until our next visit to eat here again.

This is the best natural food market on Maui. They have very good locally grown organic fruits and vegetables. Their selection of other natural foods is top notch. They have many choices if you need vegan or gluten free options. They recently renovated and have an expanded ready to eat food bar. You can even eat in. They now have a natural juice bar which is also amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent source of fruits & vegetables, great snack foods & prepared foods like tofu, nut spreads, pesto, hummus, etc. A vegan’s dream paradise for all sorts of local treats!! The Maui-made Live So Real treats are (bleeping) AMAZING!! (livesoreal.com). Coconut Glen’s ice cream is also stocked.

Highly recommend this place if you have any gluten-free dairy-free allergies or just any specific allergies in general. I went here nearly every single day of my 20-day vacation. Definitely recommend getting basic bowls or sunset smoothies- they dont disappoint!!! Ask for LeAnna while here, shes the coolest worker in there and makes amazing bowls.

Delicious smoothie and vegan breakfast sandwich. Lots of healthy and vegan options. Plenty of parking, nice and clean, super friendly staff. This was more grocery store set up but every breakfast place was packed but I’m glad we stopped here since it was delicious. I only wish they had a little seating outside.

Good quality and selection. The vitamin section is deep and the smoothy and hot deli options are a nice addition to the usual health food style. We appreciate this type of offering and visit it anytime were in Kihei.

We highly recommend this natural grocery store. We found fresh locally grown organic produce and a non-deet bug spray for our hike the next day. We also bought a made on Maui body lotion called Kula Herbs (Lilikoi-Guava).

Really good market with fresh food and fruit. Only thing i would suggest is when making fruit bowls too cut the fruit fresh and not pre cut and put in refridgerator. Takes away the quality of local fruit.

Big enough store that carry varieties of organic foods; you can get almost everything you need especially if you are staying around south Kihei area. Cashier or employee are efficient; we were waiting in line for 1 cashier (no one else behind us) then another employee saw & opened another counter for us. Thank you.

This place was my absolute favorite when visiting Maui! Fresh, healthy, large variety & a lot of vegan options. The in store cafe was my go-to almost everyday. From Iced coffee, kombucha and smoothie bowls to burgers and paninis all their food is amazing! We will definitely be coming back here when we travel to Maui again.

Great selection plus a nice deli with coffee, juice, smoothies, and breakfast/lunch sandwiches. The real treat here is that they sell Coconut Glenns vegan ice cream. The immunity blast (lilikoi) flavor is hype!

Its like small whole food store...bit pricey compared to other stores in Hawaii but its Maui so...its very clean and organized. However, I bought a egg salad and got sick that evening and thats the only thing I ate before I got sick... so I dont think I will go there again soon...

We were in Kihei for a couple months and came here a couple times a week for the açaí bowls. Energy bowls add Spirulina. Its a bit pricey, but if youre willing to splurge, just do it.

The staff where you order the food are very unprofessional. The girls with highlights on her hair white girl was very rude and unprofessional to her staff members. She yelled at one of the old guy working there while he is doing his job! I don’t know if she’s the supervisor but she does not deserve to be in that position! She treats her people like they are no one! Yuck!!

During the pandemic, it feels like a pretty safe place. They have hand sanitizer by the door, which is always a good sign. It looks like they probably wipe down the carts in between uses. There is plexiglass up to protect the employees at the cash registers. Food is packaged individually. People are friendly. It never seems too crowded. It looks like The employees are wearing masks that cover their mouths and noses, at least when I went in. A great place to get groceries or prepared foods on the south side.

Many local, sustainable and organic products available. Check out the local chocolate they sell at the checkout! Had trouble finding Maui eggs when I went but will keep looking.

Used to be my favorite place to get acai bowls and other great things from the juice bar. Now since covid-19 so many of their delicious foods are no longer available. And the portions have gotten smaller even though the prices went up. Best place to get acai bowls on Island, but if youre used to their larger portions and more fruit in it as I was then its disappointing now. Hopefully once all this covid is over with maybe theyll go back to the greatness they were?

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this store and the vast array of health food options. I love that they have a deli and sitting area. The prices are up there, but the quality of food and convenience are worth it as there are no other stores like this in South Maui. If youre staying in Kihei, its an easy walk. In addition, their food is tasty. One always worries if healthy food is going to be bland. Not with these guys. They know how to season and how to keep it fresh. Who knew being healthy could taste sooooo good! P.S. This is the only health food store on Maui where all the employees greet you with a genuine and sincere smile and hello. Plenty of aloha.

Hawaii Moons has really good prepared food at the hot food buffet bar. It is all pay by the pound. I especially like the bolognese, goat cheese mac n cheese, and enchiladas. The soups are also very good most of the time. They usually have vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian options. Everyone I have met who works there is very friendly and helpful as well.

Great Store with a solid selection. Whole foods is a better price point and that is just weird to say but it’s true. “Tina” (tattoos and middle aged) the cashier has a terrible attitude and needs to look up the definition of kindness and compassion. Then her job “customer service” will be easy . Otherwise, this likely is not the right employment for her. After posting this i took a look at the other negative reviews. 98% of them have to do with the staffs attitude Employees, if you don’t like people and don’t want to serve, find a different line of work. It really is that simple. plenty of jobs on Maui.

Friendly and good stuff

Of all the places we checked out in Kihei, this supermarket offered the best foods. The pesto sandwiches, acai bowl, and papaya were delicious and healthy. They have a hot food bar area with lots of choices as well. Wed come here again the next time were around.

Great selection of vegan and health food items both in the store and in the deli. Nice seating area to eat lunch / dinner. Got a teriyaki Beyond Burger from deli, great price with lots of toppings. Will be going again when Im down in Kihei. Glad I stopped in to check it out.

I always visit natural food stores wherever I go. This is a good one. I got organic fruits veggies, rice milk, cereal, and some local handmade items you can’t find other places.

Hawaiian Moons is more than just a place to purchase healthy and healthful products. There is a little cafe with a fantastic salad bar as well. There arent a lot of places on Maui to purchase non-dairy, gluten-free and corn free foods but Hawaiian Moons has a tremendous selection for those facing allergy issues. It makes things so much easier to know a place like this is around.

They have great mix sprouts. They carrry a sprout mix made up of Alfalfa, Clover and Radish. These are very tasty sprouts for sandwiches or wraps. Most stores will carry Clover sprouts which have an unpleasant after taste. Alfalfa sprouts are the way to go. Hawaiian Moons is the place to get them.

I frequented this great natural foods store often while in Kihei. They offer an excellent salad bar, nice sandwich menu, and good coffee. They also offer a large variety of cold beverages.The products in the store are expensive, similar to Whole Foods. Not as large, crowded, or as busy as Whole Foods.Customer service could be friendlier - they all seem tired and overworked.

Cute little organic food shop. Everything is really expensive but that seems to just be a characteristic of island life. Staff is really sweet, you can tell theyve worked there for a long time. Hot food bar is great too! Got the tuscan chicken and pasta salad and both were super yummy.

They recently renovated and expanded so much more product and lunch area. Nice salad bar and hot bar.... reasonable for Hawaii prices and organic foods. Many vitamins, juices, smoothies, etc. I really like the improvements... they also support the local elementary school with the discount card calf the Pueo card and they also give a military discount. So very generous to support the community!!

Hot bar food is nasty. I have gotten tofu options twice now and both times they tasted terrible. (Looked good but Tofu was raw, sauce tasted spoiled) Sandwiches from behind the counter were much better.Twice now food off shelves were past date. Wont go back.

We stopped here to pick up some healthy snacks to have around for our vacation. Amazing selection, amazing staff. I was looking at some unique cherries grown in Hawaii and one of the men working offered some to me to try. Then while in the checkout line I was talking to the cashier about the apple bananas. He immediately went to grab one for me to try, on the house.
