I recently bought a car from a branded vehicle dealership. The car had passed muster (blue star inspection passed with flying colors), and drove very well. Well,I had flown to Utah from Idaho to pick up the car and drive it back. On the way back, several problems came to light. The dealership was excellent to work with and ended up covering the deductible and the portions of the repair that the warranty did not.There was some back and forth between the branded car dealership, the Honda service center near my home, and Autto. It has been a bit of a process, but Autto has done an excellent job working with me and the two other parties involved. I would likely get another extended service contract/warranty with autto if the need arises again. Just bear in mind you recognize what is covered, what is not covered, and what your payment responsibility will be and you will likely be satisfied.

I called the claims department for trouble with my transmission and they got me in contact with Dustin. He read my policy to me and explained my benefits. He is extremely knowledgeable about cars. It also was a great relief having him walk me through everything as warranties can very be complicated. I told him my reluctance to take it to the dealer. I have done that before and did not want to be without a vehicle for days until they could fit me in to diagnose my issues. He said to give him twenty minutes and he would call me right back. He told me to drive down to a shop call Cody’s in ogden and they would check out me vehicle. He had it all arranged for me to get right in. They were fantastic to work with and it turned out to be something very simple. Can’t thank Dustin enough! Saved me time and money that day. I highly recommend this company!!!

My experience with this company was exclusively through Dustin. I have never in my 46 years of living received better customer service. Dustin, was able to get me an engine for my car and my car has never run better... If this company is a reflection of this man— than this company is incredibly awesome! I can state with out equivocation that They / Dustin took amazing care of me through a long drawn out ordeal where I was with out my car for 2 months... Brace for it, I’m about to get a little sappy. Most of us are familiar with the Fred Rogers from PBS show Mister Rogers. He was quoted once saying “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” Car warranty companies often get a bad rap, at least in my experience. Even in this case I was told by the car repair shop that the warranty “would do everything they could to not pay for anything” so I was prepared to have a battle if I needed to get some coverage on my van whose check engine light had come on. But I also come from an industry creating board games and doing art for board games where the industry wide motto is “give more than you take” with the idea that the more information and knowledge you share the better your business will be, the word that gets thrown around to describe this is “coopetition”. so I’ve been trying to take that with me anywhere I go. I was prepared to battle, but I didnt want to approach it that way. Then I got in touch with Dustin, the claims manager. He is a helper guys. He got my charge of $240 down to $30. Technically, in the contract, some of the charges weren’t covered in the warranty, but he saw that I was being overcharged for the value of what I was getting and therefore went the extra mile to cover the cost to a much more fair value. I’m quite happy to pay $30 to fix my vehicle. And he directed me to other auto repair shops with the helper mentality that I will go to for future repairs. He was kind, professional and wanted to see me come out on top. Some of us just don’t have the time to shop around for the best deals, so I was very glad to have him have my back. Thank you Dustin! I just bought a 2020 Dodge Ram, within 2 weeks I noticed the headlights on the driver side was not working. I called first secure administrator for the first time and my saving grace answered the phone and took care of the issue right away. So i bought a 2008 honda van and it had after market warrenty thank god but a month latter it wouldt go in to reverse so i contaked the delership i bought it from and of corse it was as is so nothing they could do but it had some type of after market warrenty so i called the loan company (capitlone) they said contact 1stcsecured and my first thught was oh no not one of these so i called and took it to one of there recomended Mechanics and they said trans so they put a new one in and still wasent working payed 349$ so they sent it to honda who then fixed it but wanted 900 from me and after 1st secured payed the other machanics 1800 plus my 342 and now i got to pay 900 more well thanks to dusty at first secure i only had to pay the bare minimum xuse he went out of his way to call the first shop and tell them hell no your paying his bill u didt fix the problem u was payed to fix and he put it to them letting them no they wearnt geting away with screwing me over and he fought them all the way till they payed the second he went so far beyond what his job was to protect me and the michanics even told me this was the eazyes and best after market warrenty compony they had ever worked with and they made a baliver out of me with after market warrentys but only with first secured will my money ever go they payed around 1800 dallers of my bill and thanks to them i only payed 368 and the other shop that tryed to screw me payed around 700 thank u so much 1st secured for all u did for me and all your custamers and thank u dusty for going so far beyound your duty forever greaTFull for your services

I signed a contract through dealership for an F150 which due to a misunderstanding with the service manager I was under the impression I could cancel anytime . Keep in mind 1st secured was not a fault. I later requested a cancellation in policy due to the misunderstanding and 1st Secured was very understanding and was able to accommodate me with a full cancellation ..
