The staff at this location are so helpful and knowledgeable about paint! I had sooo many questions and Diego helped me in a nonjudgmental way to make me feel confident in my paint choices.

I am more than pleased with the service I received at Southwest Paint. I have worked mostly with Benjamin, but everyone who has helped me has been knowledgeable and friendly. Benjamin walked me through all the details of the different sheens and types of paint and helped me find the perfect paint for my project. He also was very generous and gave me an amazing price for the five gallons of paint I needed. I will definitely be going back for my future projects.

Heard good things about the Benjamin Moore paint and wanted to try it. Use to purchase paint on Lowe’s but there is no comparison in the quality of the paint is covers a lot more with just one coat and it’s thicker. I apply on my garage and looks awesome.

Never buy aura grand entrance it will bubble and the associate from this store do not recommend to paint a mahogany door. I never hear of that in the 10 years of experience as a Painter to me is obviously that this paint is not resisting the heat even when it said is made for exterior proposes.

Our home was completely restored from hurricane Harvey. However, our contractor did not leave us a stain formula for our replacement kitchen cabinets. The corner mold at the base of all our newly installed wood cabinets was scarred from the installation and consequently needed to be refinished. I went to another local paint store and after two attempts the personnel was unable to produce a satisfactory match for the stain provided on the sample matching corner mold. I believe their inability to achieve the proper match was due to a lack of experience as it was a difficult and tedious process. Unfortunately, a spectrophotometer which works to match paint will not work to match a stain and this is where experience comes into play.After contacting Benjamin at Southwestern paint in Katy I brought him the sample stained wood in addition to a clean piece of the mold. He explained that it was a challenge but he would get it done. He sent me a picture the same day and I went to the store to inspect it. It was a close match but needed to be slightly darker.Benjamin determined that matching the stain would be better facilitated by using an industrial stain. The next day he sent me another picture and after my inspection it was a match. My hat is off to Benjamin and Southwestern Paint for their diligent effort in assisting me with a very challenging process. His effort was not a big money maker for Southwestern Paint but he pursed my small but important project with patience and care as though it were a larger more important job. His experience in accomplishing the task was evident after viewing the finished product.I am a retired business owner and recognize good employees when I meet one. Benjamin sent two comparison photos to me as a courtesy and I was impressed. My experience from start to finish was excellent. Good employees will provide exceptional service with a can do attitude.I give Benjamin and Southwestern Paint Katy a 5 star review for their courteous and professional attitude in assisting me with a very satisfactory completion in matching a stain for our cabinets.

Visited Southwestern after a color match at one of the big box stores failed. Sarah was extremely helpful with suggesting ideas for the paint I needed to fix my mishap. She even thought to help me match the sheen since I was trying to match my kitchen cabinets. My purchase was a small one, but I was treated like I was spending hundreds of dollars. 5+ stars all the way!

I love this place I went in the other day and a girl named Sarah helped me out. I showed her what colors I thought I needed and she helped me match them perfectly! Sarah was super nice and knowledgeable and it really shows she cares about her job. Now thats my new paint store! Need more associates like Sarah!

Do yourself a favor and go to the Benjamin Moore off of 1463. I went in here as a BM customer but got treated horribly and had to wait over 15 minutes for my paint to be mixed while the employee fulfilled 5 gallon orders, leaving me to keep waiting. When I asked how much longer, her said an additional 10 minutes. I’m a business owner, I can’t wait 25 minutes for paint to be mixed. When I told him I would go to my other paint store, he just said ok bye. Wow great customer service. Never coming back here again. Go to the 1463 store they have incredible customer service.

Sarah was so helpful and pointed us in the exact direction we needed to be in for my sister in-laws house. We were able to pick out finishes and all colors for interior trim, walls, cabinetry, and interior doors as well as exterior colors. She was phenomenal and so kind.

If you are looking for a color expert go see Sarah Blake at Southwestern Paint! I just completed a home remodel and Sarah was VERY nice and helpful. I was looking for a navy paint and she was able to match the color from a picture I showed her on my phone perfectly. She recommended complentary colors for other areas of the house as well. She saved me time and the headache of trying multiple samples. I drove past other paint stores to go work with her knowing she could help me pick the perfect paint color and product.

GREAT Service. These guys helped me out tremendously with a complex painting issue involving my hybrid cement and fiberglass pool. They were fast, friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I would recommend that anybody needing help with paint projects give them a visit.

Their website very clearly lists dozens of brands of paint that they supposedly carry which is a complete lie. I wanted a PPG/Pittsburgh paint and the Katy area PPG store is only open while im at work so I tried Southwestern since they supposedly carry PPG/Pittsburgh paint according to their own website. When I got to the store I found out it is actually named Benjamin Moore and the ONLY brand they carry or can match is Benjamin Moore. They wouldnt even offer to try matching the paint sample I had brought in because it was not a Benjamin Moore color. They essentially told me I had to go to PPG that they could not match the color or sheen of my builders paint using Benjamin Moore. He basically just wanted me out of the store no offer to help or tell me prices nothing, horrible customer service. I have no idea why this place has a website filled with lies but unless you are looking for Benjamin Moore paint do not waste your time coming here.
