We wanted to extend our existing hardwood floors into our bedroom. We used Lone Star Floors and they did an amazing job! They feathered the existing floors into the new floors and you cant tell the new from the old. The guys were professional and friendly. Their work was top notch and they left everything nice and clean. The floors are beautiful! This is the second time we have used Lone Star Floors. They installed carpet in our previous home. I highly recommend Mohamed and his team. You will not be disappointed!

From the moment I walked into Lone Star Floors Katy, I felt comfortable and at ease which is not a normal experience when dealing with home remodel/repair and contractors. They were honest and very helpful and not pushy. They were very responsive when coming to my home to see my projects and listened to me which was huge. They were also knowledgeable and helpful with design advice. The project included bathroom remodel complete with gorgeous tile work, tiled entry way, and flooring throughout my house. The crews were kind and very professional. Easy to work with. If something was not quite right they were quick to adjust or correct with fantastic attitudes.I highly recommend Lone Star Floors Katy. I just moved into my home and wanted the same LVP throughout. They connected my existing floors to my new floors with matching transition pieces. They did an excellent job in all areas they worked in. They also have excellent customer service. Mina was able to help me with an issue as quick as possible. I have used Lone Star Floors for all of our previous flooring needs. So, when we were getting our parents’ house ready for sale and needed to replace the carpet in 3 bedrooms and the hallway we went to Line Star Floors for a quote. Mohamed was a tremendous help selecting the carpet and organizing the install. Not only did they do an amazing job, their price with install beat all other quotes including a similar carpet from Home Depot! Prices are clearly marked on most samples, measuring was quick and no haggling on price or the usual add-one other companies tried to include.

Very helpful and patient. Great work!Mohammed was very patient as I took home & returned sample ceramic tile after sample. Once I chose my tile he scheduled the installation very quickly. It looks great! They worked until the entire job was complete. They never missed or delayed. These guys are pros. A diamond in the rough. The truck mounted cleaning system did an incredible job on my carpet and the carpet repair was nothing less than perfect. The phone conversation and the main guy doing the work were very professional and on-time. Very reasonable price. The only thing I would recommend to lone star is to have them proudly wear company logo shirts that represent this company. Why not? You’re great and you should let people know. Give your hard working guys something to be proud of while they do their work under your company name.

Lone Star Floor did a fantastic job on installing my wooden floor. They leveled my floor, which was not done by the previous owner. They were on time both days and they were very polite. They finished three rooms and a hallway in two days. They moved my furniture and they put on felt pads on everything to protect my floor.They did a fantastic job putting on the trim and matching the floor.I would recommend them for a new wooden floor!!

Lone Star Floors in Katy did a great job installing our LVP flooring. The sales team was very knowledgeable about the different products out there and helped us make the right decision on which product to get with two dogs. The installation crew was professional and went above and beyond. Theydid a beautiful job with the installation, cleaned up after the job, and carried the two heavy left over boxes into our attic when the job was finished! We had one issue with one board having to be replaced after the install. They came out and replaced it with no hassles. I would definitely use use them again in the future. My wife and I shopped around for floors for a while. Finally we were recommended by a Friend to go to Lone Star Floors. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!What set Lone Star Floors apart from the others was the show room. The variety was there, the staff had the knowledge but most importantly they listened to what we wanted.Other places would give us their opinions and force us to go with something that salesman preferred.Not at Lone Star Floors, my wife showed pictures, gave ideas and everytime our salesman provided us with what we wanted.My last comments is the crew that came over to remodel the house kept everything clean and did everything fairly quick. We went to a lot of stores before deciding to give Lone Star our business. Great selections, great prices, and Mohammed, the owner, was great to work with. Great sense of humor with no non-sense business approach.A little bit of hiccups when we decided to purchase a few more extra tiles for spare after the project was done, and had to go to their warehouse to pick it up. But that was it. I was pleased with everything else.The result work was meticulous, and I can see that they took the time to do it right.I highly recommend Lone Star, especially Mohammed, for your future projects.

We recently had tile work done in our home. While the tiling itself looks good, transition strips were damaged in the process that were not replaced, leaving gaps in our flooring throughout the house. Quarter round in the kitchen was also scrapped and not replaced, leaving the entire job looking completely unfinished.In addition, the tile crew broke our pedestal sink by letting it hang on the wall without a base (we had to completely replace this). Tiling crew also left the job the first day by leaving half-drunk gatorade bottles and food trash in our house. Nice salesperson, terrible crew. Now I am still trying to find someone to fix the transitions and make our home actually look finished. Very dissapointing.

Adding back my review from a few years ago. These guys did a nice job installing but when a transition piece broke soon after they installed the floor, we called and asked for it to be repaired. After several calls and lies about them trying to get time to fix this (it wouldve taken about 10 minutes!!!) they, to this day, have still not shown up or called to rectify their issue that they promised to keep. Mike (the owner) is about as untrustworthy as Ive seen in Katy. IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT WANT TO USE THEM, R U N ! A W A Y !

BS Reviews!!! This company did some carpet and tile work for us- NEVER again! Horrible service. Old guy working there was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Their installers didnt arrive when they said they were going to on several occasions. Poor quality of work. I agree with William. Reviews must be written by business owner. No way this business has 6 times more reviews that other surrounding stores and they are all positive. Do not give these people your money!
