Amazing place! My husband and I were on vacation and are avid vinyl fans. The selection is great and the prices are amazing for the immaculate quality of the used options. The staff is FANTASTIC!! Very friendly fellows and even ordered something my husband has been on the hunt for awhile, even though we live in Colorado!! When I visit MI again, I will definitely going back!!

Great selection of used and new vinyl. Appreciate the associates a lot (very attentive to the social message feeds); two recent visits they were nice to hold some very sought after releases for me. Excellent store to crate dig in for a couple hours.

They only get 1 or 2 copies of new releases and once theyre out, they dont reorder, an occurrence not exclusive to Green Light. At that point most people would rather purchase online versus special order. If stores want you to purchase their stuff, stock it. And the used vinyl leaves little to be desired too. Ive been turned away on more than one occasion cause the guy who looks at used stuff wasnt there. Also, 5:00 closing doesnt cut it for folks that work til 5:00. Covid isnt a hoax but its not as terrifying as people make it out to be. I rate my reviews truthfully and accordingly based on personal experience be it cheerful or otherwise. They get 2 stars for being well organized with lots of eye catching wall candy and most of the employees are friendly. But hey theyre at least as good as Satellite.

Large selection on records, cds, and other music or movie related things. Overall a really neat place. We tried to sell some records, but only a few were actually bought for a a somewhat reasonable price. If youre looking to sell records you may be better off going to the record store off of Westnedge, but this is the place to go to if youre trying to buy.

Honestly, I wish they had more used Tool and ICP CDs because thats what I creep around music shops in Michigan for...but, that said, this a RECORD STORE THAT EXIST, go there and just buy anything, buy a used Spacehog album (theyre better than you remember). Youll be doing the right thing if you do.

Great local record store with a good selection. Deep enough inventory that youre hopeful to find a new (or old) favorite but not so extensive that you expect to wade through undesirables just to find something youre okay with. Friendly people, too!

So good to have real vinyl music stores back and doing well! Of course they have other media too, but nothing like flipping through the LPs looking for that album I didnt know I needed. Staff is friendly and offers help, but also gives you lots of room to browse. Has also been a good source for some hard to find parts to repair an old turntable I had. Very helpful there.

I was looking for a compact disc for my girlfriend from 1985. She pulled up Stella by Yello on her tablet and we listened to it on Spotify.She said to me that night that she wished she had it, because its a great album. I tried Amazon and they couldnt get it before January 7th.Green Light had it on the shelf for 8 dollars cheaper. They even set it aside for me.This will be a great stocking stuffer.

A great selection of new and used vinyl, CDs, and tapes. If youre looking for something that isnt on the shelf theyll be happy to order it for you. Gift certificates are available if you have an audiophile on your list. I have never been disappointed with a visit here.

With Music shops disappearing left and right these days it is awesome to see this one still here in the Kalamazoo area.There is nothing like walking in to this store and just walking around looking for whatever treasures they may have, including records new and old.

Ive been going here, now-and-then, since when it was the CD Warehouse (not very long ago, actually). As many of you already know, theyve got a Better variety of CDs than Satellite Records (O yes! AND Id highly recommend them too :)!!).

If your selling, dont waste your time. If youre buying, its cheaper online. I didnt care for the person behind the desk. He acted as if I was wasting his time and never got off the phone.

Very clean and organized, the staff know their stuff, they also have a loyalty program, which is great for us vinyl heads, a little on the pricey side, however you are not on your hands and knees digging for that rare find, like I said very organized

Greenlight Music has become a regular stop of mine for quality vinyl. The selection is excellent and they have a good mix of old and new. I always find something that I like there and the prices are really good. They also have a big selection of CDs, used audio equipment, and supplies.

I told employee that I needed fuel that I had about 100 vinyl records, told me that $1 a piece and I was picking some out and, told me that give me a $1 for one of the vinyls that I didnt price I asked my nephew to look it up, the employee backed out of the deal that was made.
