Everyone was very polite and friendly. They went out of their way to help me. When they didnt have what I needed they was willing to order one of the items and the other they recommended another local business that would be able to help me out. They went above and beyond in customer service. I definitely will be going back.

Came in to buy some less-usual items. Needed 3 of ⅜ clear vinyl tubing and a ⅜ barb to fix a particular item Ive been having trouble with, stopped in at Lowes first, could only buy hose in a 20 roll, which was way too much. Stopped in at Westlake Ace, the cashier quickly told me where the tubing was located, so off to aisle 14 I went.Found the tubing, with a cutter handy. The tubing actually has length markers printed on it, so I cut off 3, spending $1.77 instead of $6 at Lowes, and then got the barb I needed. While I was there, I picked up a heavy-duty 3-prong plug to fix a heavy-duty fan I have.Ace is a good place to find exactly what you need, many times. Thanks!

I used to love Jefferson Citys Westlake Hardware - it was big and had all sorts of hardware items you couldnt find elsewhere. Now they have divided the floor space with OReilly Auto Parts and have much less retail space, and unfortunately a much smaller inventory.

This is a full-service hardware store. I easily found a tiny setscrew I was searching for. VERY disappointed that a small discount isnt offered for retired military. Youd think a small discount would be offered for those who stood in defense of this country for over 20 years.

They had the exact size washer that I needed and I only needed 2 and they sold them by the piece. Talk about convenient!

They are very helpful here and the prices are decent. Cant beat the convenience because time is money and if you have questions and need help then you will waste a lot of time at other hardware stores where no one is around to help you.

This store has an outstanding bird feed and bird feeder section. Staff is always friendly and the store is clean as well.

It was clean, customer service was pleasent to deal with, return process was fast, efficient, and convenient to say the least. Not into cars much, but maybe some good pieces for SOME DIY PROJECTS 😁🤷🏾🤣

I am embarrassed for a dying company like this... customer service needs to be a priority plain and simple. The world is wacky enough. I visited the store today in quite the panic. My wife and two small children were back at my trailer without heat. The purpose of my visit was to fill my propane tank for my travel trailer that I live in. I was very concerned because it was getting late and other businesses were closing and I needed heat for the night. The man met me outside visibly upset about having to go outside in the cold and looked at my tank for about 20 seconds. He looked at me and said “this is too old I think, I can only find one number” the numbers he was referring to were serial numbers mixed with letters. Easy case of someone not wanting to do their job. I went to the next store and the gentleman laughed when I told him I was turned away. The associate told me this person should re learn how to fill tanks. I got my education on propane today maybe ace hardware needs a better education as well.After I got the tank filled I called ace hardware to speak with a supervisor. I thought they could use this opportunity to learn. I was so wrong. I was met with the rudest employee I have ever heard. There was no “sorry” or anything, just excuses. When I told her that I think her employee was wrong and did not give me the proper time she gave more excuses. I think a company such as ace hardware needs to work harder at keeping the customers who still enjoy their store. I feel they are pushing away their potential customers.Not one time did someone show me a new propane tank or offer any sort of customer service. If I needed something new, why not sell me a new tank? I was met with an employee who threw up his hands and did not want to do his job. If your looking for customer service this is not your place.

Great assortment of supplies and parts. I get the impression of a home town store wirh great people.

We took some glass in to be cut and the glass had a hole in it. Instead of cutting the glass where the hole was no longer they cut the complete opposite side(the good side). Then tried to charge us for their mistake. Definitely need to get people that are a little smarter when it comes to cutting glass. I will not go back there for my glass cutting needs.

Maybe I am spoiled now by places like Lowes and Menards, and even Home Depot, but I was totally unimpressed by this store and its employees. No one knew where anything was, or the answers to any of our questions. In fact, my husband ended up helping some other customers.

Quite Disappointing. I have found ACE Hardware stores have one of the best assortments of guns. Thought I would browse a little for something new. Needed some nuts n bolts....Walmart has those...and guns too!

Great customer service my a$$ went to west lake ace in Jc mo needed a key made first trip didn’t have the blank I needed was told to come back they might get one in come they have the blank but the guy who needs to make my key is working the cash registers with another cashier. So I get in line wait so this guy is my cashier put the other stuff I’m buying on the counter and ask him to make my key he says he can’t because he is a cashier now . He walked away to get other things for customer’s but can’t take a couple of minutes to make my key. Needless to say it will be a cold day in hell before I go back there!

I own an old home it uses fuses and Westlake Ace Hardware were the only store that have the fuses for my fuse box. Thanks🙂👍

We ask about window stops/wedges and was told what isle they should be in. Someone else came by and ask if they could help. When we told them what we needed they walked on. Horrible customer service.

Ive been a Westlake customer for years. The knowledgeable store clerks are helpful. Prices might be a little higher than larger hardware stores but it takes less time to find what you need and get checked out.

Got charged wrong for a clearanced item and the cashier was very polite and fixed the error right away! Good customer service!

Its a pretty decent store and always has a plethora of great sales, Check out the clearance section thats to the right as soon as you walk in the door. Sometimes they have astonishingly low prices on some fantastic items that youre not going to find anywhere else.

Staff are usually pretty friendly, but when you need to make a return, they can only give money back via gift card. And on top of that, the gift card doesn’t work until 24 hours after they’ve activated it. So I made a return thinking I’d get money back on the credit card I bought it with. Then got the gift card. They never said it would be 24 hours for it to be useful, so I walked around the store for 20 minutes looking for something else to buy that I’d need. Finally found a couple of things. Went to check out and then they tell me the gift card doesn’t work for the first 24 hours. Left the stuff and walked out. Spent my whole lunch break there for no reason. So frustrating.

Went for grass seed. Kinda pricey but I liked how spacious the new location is. Straw bales are $8...

Great hardware store and they have almost everything covered that you could need in the store.

Been buying parts for house flips about two years. Prices are almost always around %10 more than larger stores. Coupons are good for those who join, making prices on small purchases more inline with large stores. After some employees get to know you a few months they go into grouchy old man mode it seems, unwilling to help and with a touch of contempt. Limited supplies (no building supplies, insulation, tiles, etc) mean Ace has a limited use after basic stuff. Quality of most things has gone down now that almost all are made in China. Got some good gloves 5 years ago as an Ace closed due to the grouchy old nature of its owner, now, Chinese junk is the norm.

They got me exactly what I needed. In and out in minutes!

A few items are higher in price, however the service is excellent and worth the few extra cents on some items. Dont hesitate to ask for sales person.
