I started going to Heath & Heath with my dad at least 55 years ago. Moved away to the big city, now returned, I go out of my way to buy lumber, hardware, and fencing here. You get more than just the product you buy, you get HELP. Knowledgeable staff, great selection, decent prices.

We traveled some miles to get to this store. Its a historic business, and word of mouth has traveled at least 60+ miles.... Great little hardware store. Small aisles, but they still carry a wide selection of items and the prices are better than big name stores! Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Recently needed something specific. It was ordered and then picked it up the next week. Great service.

Well, its definitely old school. While they have a nice assortment of goods for a variety of disciplines they surely need to update their business model. After finding the items I needed I went to the cashier had me return to get him an item number. Perhaps its time to streamline the inventory guys, and communication from front of the house to back of the house is important. Think about it from the perspective of the customer rather than employee convienance. Perhaps a notebook with printed inventory and item numbers if digitizing is too much.

This place is like a 1950s or 1960s hardware supply store with lot of stuff. The reason 4 stars is that they a tad shy of being totally organized. But they have some stuff that you would not normally find in hardware stores of today.

If you dont know this place you will need to ask to find stuff.

Really good hardware and lumber store

Honestly, I wish zero stars was an option. Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever experienced.I went into the store 5 minutes before closing time (5:25, on a Thursday) and made a beeline to the aisle I needed. An employee (manager?) followed me, telling me they were closing in 5 minutes and demanding that I tell him what product I was intending to purchase. I ignored him and continued walking to the section of the store, and he follows me! Still yelling and demanding that I tell him what I was shopping for.Obviously I chose to (happily) take my business elsewhere.

Friend employees. Right after bad week of snow and ice so everyone was there getting parts fix water and all staff was very helpful.

The customer service is always above and beyondIf they’re is ever a time they don’t have what we need on hand they are quick to order it and let you know as soon as it comes in. I cannot say enough good things about this hardware store.

On the phone they are rude and hang up on you and dont seem to no what customer care is this place is good for plumbing but nothing else

This place is a mess, its hard to find anything and its difficult to identify an employee and get help. Getting checked out at a register is like going to a crowded bar, theres no line and youre not sure if someones going to help you or not.Everything is overpriced and theres a $5 minimum on credit and debit purchases. A business of this size should not have a minimum its 2020

Convenient & well stocked, though some of the employees seem bothered to help you. Others are far-and-away superior.

This is a great small town hardware and plumbing store, the folks that work there are always friendly and very knowledgeable.

It is a relief not to have to load your lumber amd plywood yourself. The service at Heath & Heath is excellent. Service at places like Home Depot is disappointing. They will help a little old lady find one bolt and spend an hour doing so, but will not lift a finger to help you load 25 sheets of plywood. The small town atmosphere at Heath & Heath makes you want to return there. They have what you are looking for and have it in stock.From the pretty ladies at the front desk to the helpfull guys out in the lumber yard, all the employees at Heath & Heath make shopping easy, pleasant, and time efficient. I fully recommend this establishment for all your hardware and lumber needs.

He said he is an independent hardware store that has everything you can think of if its a hard to find bolt screw nut something out of the past an antique or the state-of-the-art or any other Hardware items like large-scale pumps that hold water systems he said he has a place to go have excellent information from the staff
