I bought my wedding dress today and had the absolute best experience. Neesh was the perfect consultant from beginning to end!Everything started two weeks ago. I had a horrid experience with Davids bridal. Its a looooong story, but I was embarrassed and lied to by them, and I felt hopeless. As a plus sized bride I thought I wouldnt be able to find THE dress and would lose out on that magical part of the process.Neesh was incredible when I initially and let her know what happened with Davids bridal. She was instantly understanding and excited to help. We talked about what I liked and was looking for and she pulled up options that they would be able to get in my size. She even told me a couple brands I could look up online so I could get some ideas.When me and my friends showed up for my appointment today, it was wonderful. They had great variety and it wasnt long before I picked a big stack of dresses to try, and in less than an hour I was paying for my perfect dress!I really want to brag about Neesh because she was amazing. She really listened to what I wanted, stayed within the price range I told her without trying to upsale me, and was genuinely just a pleasure.

Absolutely great experience buying a dress from French Novelty. My friend and I dont live in Florida, but we been searching around bridesmaid shops and finally settled on the perfect dress for a wedding. Well, I was surprised when I went to order it on the dessy website that French Novelty was selling the same dress but for a much more affordable price. On top of that, the customer service here has been really great. They emailed me once they confirmed that my dress was processed and it arrived way under 10 weeks! Im excited to wear this dress!

I just bought my prom dress from here and they had an such an amazing selection I had a hard time choosing! Mary Lou and the other ladies on the staff were so kind and helpful! 100% recommend, we drove 2 hours and weren’t disappointed!

Prides themselves on customer service yet refuses to correct their mistake on my maid of honor’s order. She ordered and paid for rush shipping. Same day was called back and told the rush shipping wasn’t available but they would recreate the order and overnight it from Florida as soon as it was received. It was reordered in the complete wrong color. I get it, mistakes happen. But when I called to get the issue resolved I was basically told they wouldn’t have changed an order and my maid of honor must’ve just ordered the wrong color to begin with. So disappointed that I will now have to buy her a dress off of Amazon to get it here in time after she already spent over $200. Now she will not match my other bridesmaids and the assistant will do nothing as far as a return or compensation. I was offered an “at cost” replacement since this was clearly “not their mistake”. Staff all but called me a liar and it’s completely ridiculous. I hope no one else has this issue.

Trying to plan a wedding 3000 miles away is stressful enough as mother of the bride. I was so fortunate to find “THE PERFECT DRESS” through French Novelty. I would recommend French Novelty for gowns for all occasions. I was pleasantly surprised to receive my gown early and 2 months prior to estimated shipping date. Its beautiful, well made and fits perfectly, do use their size chart. I will be a repeat customer. So happy I found the perfect dress at French Novelty. Completely satisfied customer.

This has been a fun experience for my daughter. With 33 star closing at the beach there are fewer places to go to try on prom dresses and this is a good one. Far from home for us but worth the drive.

I am extremely upset that I have a dress on layaway, but my daughters school has cancelled prom. I called the store and was told that I could either purchase the dress or lose my whole deposit I put down on the dress. With this whole virus thing it has put a complete damper on seniors and parents are being forced to lose the money or pay it out of layaway, I understand not receiving my money back if trying to return it. Not only would I be forced to purchase the dress, I also have to have alterations done afterwards. So I would be out of more money. I will never recommend French Novelty to anyone. I was very upset that I even had to give them one star!!!

Literally so UNPROFESSIONAL AND IGNORANT.I came In knowing exactly what dress I wanted and they got it for me..perfect except, I came back in and ask for a swatch of fabric. Wish I could remember her name but the older white lady responds “we don’t do those” so I further try to explain how they are usually with the dress and she try to ignore me and is actually quite rude with the way she spoke. I simply went home with my dress. The whole time they were pretty dismissive and rude but ok. I’m home now and as I suspected THE SWATCHES CAME WITH THE DRESS.The problem is how rude they were and dismissive while I’ll was trying to explain and get the dress. The lack of knowledge of dresses is also ridiculous. I shouldn’t know more about dresses than you if you run a store........ Anyway beautiful dress, wish I could’ve bought it from a company that actually deserves it. I understand prom season is stressful BUT THEIR COSTUMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE

After contacting numerous formal wear stores to order my daughters dress and being told there wasnt one to be found in the U.S., I called French Novelty and am so thankful I did!!! Mary took my call, put me on hold for two minutes and returned saying she had located the dress in the right size/color in the designers warehouse in... Canada!!! She ordered it on 2/22 and told us it would arrive between 3/3 and 3/6. It arrived TODAY!!!!!! Thank you MARY for great customer service, going above and beyond and looking outside the country to find the perfect dress!!!!

This place has beautiful dresses with awful service! My daughter when in this weekend looking for a prom dress with her friend both teenagers. I was unable to come and help due to having recent surgery. My daughter called me very upset after her experience saying all of the other girls with their moms were helped and attended too very well to find the perfect dress and my daughter and her friend were not helped AT ALL and were basically having to help each other unbag and lace up their dresses. Just because two girls come in without their parents doesn’t mean they don’t have the money to spend on a dress. You lost two good sales this weekend.

I dont live in Florida however I was stopping to visit a friend and found out that I had to go to an engagement with her and I did not have the proper shoes. It was in a convenient location down the street from her house she stayed on Bland Street or Blanding Street something to that nature however I was in a time crunch and they were about to close within an hour I came in and I was greeted immediately by a lady at the desk and when I walked around another woman approached me to ask me if I needed any help and I appreciated that they had a wonderful selection of dresses however I was only there for shoes the dresses were to die for. So I found some shoes for a great price on the clearance rack they were wonderful dance shoes they fit good they were perfect. And it also didnt help that the price was extremely low my budget was $40 it was well in the requirements yes. I would say the place is a great place to go if you have any ballroom or proms or any engagements where you have to dress up very nice. I would recommend them again thank you for the great customer service.

My shopping experience was wonderful! It is often difficult to do business online or over the telephone - especially when you are out-of-state. Even if you are lucky enough to speak to someone in person, the customer service and follow up is lacking. That was not the case with French Novelty. My inquiries were handled with absolute professionalism and the follow-up was superb I saw this dress in June and was ABSOLUTELY certain I wanted it for my 2016 prom. It was sold out on just about every website that carried it and French Novelty was the only retailer that offered to purchase it directly from the manufacturer. My mom worked directly with Jen and ordering through her was a positive experience; completely stress-free. I received a confirmation email an estimated ship date email and a just shipped email with a tracking number. The dress arrived with no incident and I am super excited to have the dress of my dreams!

I would give you 100 stars if I could! You save the day for us when our alteration lady cut the skirt off the dress just a little longer than a top! Then tried to sew it back on! I would love to show you the picture, you would get your laugh of the day! Anyway, Jen saved the day! Fifteen minutes BEFORE the store closed, ON FRIDAY, she took my order for the ONLY dress they had in the shop that just happened to be the correct size..... a beautiful rose gold sequin by Christina Chu, I believe?......It arrived the following MONDAY! Absolutely the best prom, pageant, quinceanera gown boutique in North Florida. The staff is TOP NOTCH. We have worked with Marylou and her staff on a number of occasions and they always knock it out of the park. They have an enormous selection of the most beautiful gowns and if you still arent able to find that perfect gown, they will have it ordered for you asap. Absolutely LOVE this boutique and would recommend anyone to come in and see for yourself why I think this dress shop is one of the Top 2 gown shops in Florida.

Easy to order, came packaged nicely and looks just how it was portrayed online. Fit well, no alternation needed - size 0 was true to size and fit around my size B (smaller B) bust. Full sequin dress came with no snags. Was terrified to order a custom dress online, but I will order from them again. Also please by the e-mail updates on my order/shipment. Not too many, but not so sparse that I worried about my dress. Came within the timeframe. Mine was custom, so it took a few weeks as stated.

I had been unenthusiastically searching for a mother of the groom pant suit for about 6 months when I stumbled upon this company. I was looking for something in womens and tall, a combination never easily found. To my delight I found a dignfied, classic design in the perfect color of ocean breeze. The material was elegant. The staff made sure the pants were long enough. It fit!!! I am ecstatic. And relieved. Now all I need to find are dress sandals in a size 12...

Natasha was so helpful from the moment we walked in the door @ 6:00- they close @ 7. She asked what was the date of my daughters prom and I responded this Saturday and she said oh we have to find her a dress today. And that is what she did, after many many many attempts she found the wow dress for my very picky daughter! She was not overly pushy, very patient, never made us feel rushed and after some trail and error narrowed down the type of dress my daughter really wanted. I got my destination bridal dress from here (a short lace dress by Mori Lee Affairs) and absolutely loved it on my big day! I came here because i had a military ball that i only had 3 months to find a dress for. When i went in, i had no idea what to look for or what would look good on me because i had never gone to any formal event before. but my consultant (Kat) was AWESOME!! she found the perfect dress that i fell in love with and was WAAAY under my budget! she saved me tons of money and made me so happy. every time i went in to make a payment on the dress (which BTW, the payment plan was awesome and the required deposit was close to nothing!), all the ladies were so nice and polite, and extremely patient with me. and all the prices were amazing. i would definitely recommend this store to any one looking for any kind of dress. balls/proms/pagent/weddings you name it they have it ! definitely earned a 5 star rating from me!
