The owners were screaming at a customer in their native language. She was loud and sounded like she was ready to fight. Nobody deserves to be abused. I felt completely unsafe. I left as quickly as possible. The worst part is black people get tired of asians treating them bad in their business establishment. If you are going to be bold enough to cause a scene then, say what you are saying in a language that the other person understands. Its plain cowardice behavior. That customer looked humiliated. Sad!

I was very disappointed in this store!!☹😩 You walk in and I just wanted to walk back out...quickly!! Not a good selection of items and did like the way the store was set up. I have been in many beauty supply stores and wanted to stay practically all day to make sure I didnt miss anything..you know ladies! Not Here!! And, there was a lady just staring at me the whole time like I was going to take something..really?!! I think she was back there where the wigs were. At any rate...I am not going back. Sorry! 😞😫

I was greeted when I entered. The assistant in the wig dept was very helpful. She was kind and informative. The cashier who helped with jewelry was very nice as well & funny. During these times, we need all the light we can get. Also, everyone respected the 6ft. social distancing guidelines. Will return.

Easy to find the location, and the cashier was very courteous.

Good variety but the person on the floor was not helpful. I had to find a person who could answer questions about products because the floor person had no clue. I will give them another try though because it is clean, well organized, and the staff is friendly.

I didnt know what I was doing as I have never bought a wig before. Chantel asked me right away if I needed any help and helped me to try on three different wigs. She was more than helpful in helping me to understand how I should wrap my long hair to get the best look out of the wig and so forth. I was highly impressed with the level of service and help that she provided and I will be back if I need any more in the future!

I would guess that I am not their typical shopper in that I work for a local theatre group and am always looking for bits and pieces to create characters - from long braids to wig caps to colored hair dye they have it all. Ive gone into Cocos for our last few wig and costume needs and have been very pleased. The girls make sure I have what I need and are very polite despite my crazy requests. They have a huge inventory and great prices too. I found lace gloves and coordinated hair bows today for some evil step sisters you may be familiar with. I needed those things but thought Id probably have to find them online. Need purple lipstick? I did and they have a dozen shades.... (And coordinating eyeshadow sets for only $2.) Trust me, Cocos is more than just a beauty store! Just stop in for a visit, and you are sure to find something you need too!

This is one of my favorite beauty supply locations. The store is fairly clean. The workers are friendly and professional. The atmosphere is inviting. Theres not any loud annoying music playing throughout. You can find good deals on what you need and the items in the store are well organized.

Coco has become one of my go-to places if I dont shop on line. The store is presentable, and has a decent selection. Staff is courteous and helpful. They do have those security disk inside some merchandise. Beware and check your items before you leave the store. I took an item on vacation and ended up tearing a whole in the item so I could wear it!!! I got some good values today...not always the case!

They are so helpful and have such a good selection especially for nails. Love going here

In my quest to find an African-American owned beauty supply store, this place came up.This IS NOT African-American owned!Against my “better judgment” was still going to make large amount purchase here.They only had floor model of two items I wanted, owner refused to give discount. Great, just validated my feelings of patronizing ppl of colour!Tired of people getting rich off ppl of colour, from hair supplies etcUp the coast I go to SC to shop at a genuine minority owned hair supply store!

Simply giving 1 star because no stars isn’t an option. Absolutely poor customer service and managerial skills. This piss poor business had an item on the shelf with the wrong price on it, rings it up and it was 2 dollars more. Instead of keeping it professional and meeting me in the middle (considering I was making additional purchases), the so called manager chose to argue me down instead, OVER TWO DAMN DOLLARS. May I advise that unless you’d like to argue with ignorant beings who are far from accomadating, understanding, and are unable to take responsibility for incorrectly labeling items on the shelf (false advertisement) PLEASE DO NOT SHOP THERE! Specifically let the manager and employee know I will not be back. There are better hair stores to shop at in Jax, please don’t waste your time at this excuse of a business. Thumbs completely down! 👎
