The manager, assistant manager and their team went above and beyond to take care of me today. I was given some lifting struts, wheels and tires as a gift for my 21 Silverado (not purchased at their store). Did they care? Nope! They happily installed everything on my tight schedule and at a very fair price! I called around for a couple of days and decided on Famous - San Jose and am so glad I did. They have earned a customer for life because of their professionalism and willingness to help take care of me, even though they didnt earn any money on the actual parts. I dont do reviews very often, so I hope anyone who is considering using this location understands how impressed I was with their staff and service and shouldnt ever hesitate to use Famous-San Jose for all of your auto needs.

I needed a tire patched and stopped at 3 other places who could only schedule an appointment for repair 2 days later. The team at Famous offered to take care of my truck first thing the next day. I went in at 7.00 am and they promptly fixed my tire. The manager was professional and the technician was knowledgeable and efficient.

They bend over backwards for customers. But due to policy, I was charged the full rate although I did over half the work myself. I highly recommend these guys.

I was there yesterday when my mom’s car broke down and needed an alternator repair. They were able to work us in late in the day and did a quality repair. The staff was friendly and kind. The repairmen carefully wiped all finger prints and grease from the car’s exterior before backing the car out of the bay. The manager Chip gave us a coupon. Recommend!

Chip and his team jumped right on my car and figured out what was wrong and fixed it in less than two hrs.. and they didnt knock my head off with the price either!! will recommend to everyone

They treated me as if I was family! I went in about 30 minutes before they closed and they treated me as if the doors were just open for the day to get started! Nonetheless I was in and out the next day with brand new brakes and rotors for under 300 bucks and they did an amazing job! Customer service is on point and they were very informative throughout the entire process! Pain-free and I will definitely be going to them for all of my Corvette needs!

Different manager there from the last time I was there. Still the same service. Was dew for a tire balance and rotation. Was there for about an hour or so. But all the bays were full so they did hustle right along. Good garage to use if you need anything done.

The seat belt on the car wouldn’t work, one of the guys came over and helped us fix it. He was so polite and helpful. What a nice ma and pa place. Definitely go here for your automotive needs!

They got me in on short notice for a non-emergency on my Toyota Tundra to have my tires and wheels changed out to accommodate my schedule and treated me like I had been coming to them for years. Johnnie even loaded my old wheels in my truck tied them down and secured my spare back under the truck. This is next level service.While I waited I repeatedly heard how amazing Earl treated each customer. He greeted them by name and took all the time they needed, not how much time he had, to take complete care of them. I also heard them talking about how they would never let a car leave the shop that they would not allow their family to ride in.This level of customer service and quality workmanship should not be passed up! I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am for how courteous and professional Earl and Luke were when I brought my car in to them. My car was involved in a hit and run and needed a tremendous amount of body work. I got my car back two days before I was supposed to move across the state. The body work was done by another shop, but I needed to have all four tires replaced, my wheels aligned, my battery checked, and my auto start/stop function fixed. They did the tire alignment the same day and ordered my tires for the to be replaced the next day and had me in and out in under an hour. They were also able to clear my battery and fix my auto start/stop function. Not only that, but the price was so much lower than anything I could have expected. It was so nice having a company that actually cared about my car and my well being when driving. I am so upset that I’m leaving Jacksonville and won’t be able to have them service my car. I highly recommend them for any of your car needs.

Dropped my car off at 9 am on friday for a tire and an alignment. After being convinced that another tire was bad around 3 pm on Friday I left my car and hoped it would done sat morning. Arrived on sat at 3 pm and found the car was in same condition as I left it and both manager and a mechanic sitting in the office. Not one to raise hell about stuff so asked for my key to take to a shop that actually works on cars. Opened the door and found center console and glove box open like it had been rummaged through. All I can say is be careful going here. I like the guys that work there but it was really sketchy the way my transaction worked out.

The guys were fantastic at this place. Everyone from management to the lead tech knows the business and serve great. They do great work at great prices. They did such a great job that Ill take my car from Daytona Beach straight to them to fix my car. They did a beautiful job on my sister car.

Walked in, having never been there before, and was warmly welcomed. I needed a flat fix done on a tire on my Jeep Cherokee, and the associate there helped get me in right away and taken care of within the hour. Extremely great value and I will definitely be a repeat customer given my first experience.

I had a great experience with these guys, especially Brian and Jordan! I was on a cross country trip from FL to UT and had several issues with my car. They got me right in and fixed it all for a fair price. My car has done well and I would definitely recommend these guys!

So I stumbled upon this place by accident and I’m glad that did I because my high-mileage Jetta was giving me multiple issues at once. Three things that stand out about this shop in my eyes: 1.) Hospitality — best customer service I’ve ever received from any repair facility. 2.) Sense of urgency — I observed management prioritizing the repairs and making all reasonable efforts to get customers back on the road quickly. 3.) Price and transparency — Management was very straightforward about what needed to be replaced today and how the costs broke down. When I researched prices afterwards, I concluded that the prices were indeed very reasonable for parts and labor. This is now going to be my regular shop for every repair going forward.

Had slow leak in passenger rear tire team asked me to leave car with them said it would be about an hour. Sure enough my home phone rang about an hour later! Went to pick up my car, asked what they did and how much the charge was, he said he found a nail, pulled it out and patched the tire, no charge!! I will be supporting our local business! Thanks men.
