We were looking for a GX460 because we need a vehicle to tow our boat. And I notice some of the GX460 come with a tow hitch and some don’t. So we ask about the hitch, the sales man told us “we will install the hitch for you. “ But, after we paid and got all the paperwork done, they told me it is $1200 to get it installed. It is very misleading and we are not happy with it.

Paula Clemons was my service manager and she guided me through the process with great skill. My work was delayed because a part was out of stock but I was given an excellent loaner until my car was ready. 2nd time there with a not so customer oriented feeling. When I previously got a quote for 2 back tires at THAT dealership, scheduled the service, show up and the service person didnt look at my previous service records. I explained I needed oil change and tires and he visually inspected and quoted me 4 tires. 2 of them were newer. So I stated I only need 2. Yet he visually looked and should have reviewed my service records. Left me with a not so trust worthy feeling. I will not be back this time. 3rd visit and not one good experience. You start to wonder 🤔. I was asked to sign docs with no review of the NEEDED service recommendations. Just initial please.. Got home and reviewed. It noted brake and tire services declined but needed. I declined the tires as I will take my business elsewhere where they pay attention to what the customer actually needs.. I would have liked to understand the brake recommendation but was not given the opportunity of an interactive service experience.. This was not the first time with the same advisor which is why I decided to put this in writing. You would think the service writer would have reviewed and wanted the NEEDED business. I have been to Fields dealerships previously, and this was not the experience I had previously.

I want to share that I had a really outstanding experience provided by managers Brian, Kris, and service adviser Paula, who were so professional, friendly and diplomatic helping me with the issue on my car. He was personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the time I spent acquiring a used LS. Additionally, Bob Ewing was equally friendly and efficient during the financing portion. Both gentlemen provided a pleasant exercise to what normally can be an arduous undertaking. The only complaint I have is with what I consider this dealerships onerous Dealers Fee. To any experienced car buyer, this fee is bogus at best. Additionally, the fee of $795 was never advertised on their web site or the price included in the price sheet provided prior to my arrival at the dealership. Most, if not all, dealers give that detail in both areas. Otherwise, a relatively facile undertaking.

This interaction took me by surprise as Lexus is normally good and Ive had no complaints in the past. My family over generations are Lexus owners and I was shown the quality of the brand and company of owning a Lexus through my Dad as he took me to the dealership for service adolescent days.Showed me how well they took care of him all they offer in the waiting room! I have triplets as my name says and plan to show them but this time at Lexus of Jacksonville it really made me think about moving to different luxury vehicles.I found a mechanic that treated my Lexus great over the years, stop by Lexus from time to time for a recall thats fine and they are great. this time my mechanic said hey your wheel lock key is missing for your rear tires suggested remove my locks and add lug nuts. I said no Ill go to the dealership and purchase a new key. are you sure they might mess up your car. I said no no Lexus is cool I like them. I go to the Parts department speak to a guy named Andrew great guy he came out looked at my car in the rain and then we concluded that I didnt need to buy a new key and just buy some lug nuts. Two lug nuts in the rear. replace locks and I was missing a lug nut in the front so 3 lug nuts total $13. he even tried to replace them outside himself. Locks were on too tight so he handed me over to Service Department. beautiful lady named Mandy awesome lady. my car goes in the back then it comes out good I go! I drive home. Notice Im missing a spot in the rear there is no lug nut whats going on!? I call Mandy she said technician forgot to add it just come back up here and youll get a free wash. Great I drive back up explain my situation.they take it back then quickly pull it back out and say we cant work on your car because youre stud is stripped!! 🤯😱Hold on!! What? No No No. I came up here purchase three lug nuts you take off my two wheel locks and replace them with lug nuts and add a lug nut in the front. You forgot to put the lug nut on in the back and sent me home without notifying me!! I called up here and Mandy said the technician forgot to put that on. Now youre telling me its stripped..theres damage to my rim looks like you completely stripped the coating off the rim where the lug nut goes there is clearly damage there. A big guy service department that sits in the middle of all the service department guys and ladies comes out and says my technician is 20 years with us he couldnt have done that🧑🏿‍🦲🧑‍🔧 Lexus couldnt have done that. I said thats not right😳. Service guy said thats not our problem! then I say so now Lexus is going to send me home with damage on my car!? He wants again to flex that its not lexuss fault. At that point I did not want to argue and make a scene out in the service Lane so then I said well how much is it going to cost another guy tells me $380 to replace the stud tax $400. Nobodys even talking about the damage on my rim just the three rows that were damaged by Lexus that they claim they did not do and theres no way theyre 20-year technician could have done it. Just because youve been on the job for 20 years doesnt mean you do everything right!! I call my mechanic,says bring over to look at it.. he immediately says I told you.looks at it says they should have put your lug nut on by hand and then screwed it in first but the Lexus technician jammed the lug nut on with his gun stripping the first three rows and then denting your rim and stripping it of its coating. I dont like people telling me I told You so or being the laughed at. It really hurts me to my gut because I like Lexus as a whole. Lexus if you know who I am reach out please. June, 3 lug nuts purchased.. Big service guy in the middle! NO! Stay Away! I felt intimidated by you. Every time I think Lexus of Jacksonville Service. A Feeling gets my heart racing. Im so upset makes my blood pressure rise do any of you know that feeling.☹️☹️

I purchased a 2020 Lexus Saturday evening from the Atlantic Blvd. location( they literally were closing as I was completing my paperwork.) . The very next day, I noticed there was a crack in the bottom of the windshield. I called my salesman and was told to file a claim with my insurance company. I think it is absurd for them to not help me remedy this issue on a brand new purchase. They pretty much said there was nothing they can do and now I have to file a claim for a new vehicle. I expected to have a superior level of service by purchasing a luxury vehicle. Clearly my expectations exceed the level of service that they provide.

Paula in service did an excellent job of getting the requested service done, especially fixing the rattle in the car, which is never easy. I’ve been driving Lexus vehicles purchased from Lexus of Jax for over 20 years, and have always been satisfied. Excellent warranty on certified used vehicles, but rarely a service issue. They always provide a loaner when the vehicle is in service, and on the few occasions where service took more than a day, no problem, keep the loaner and we will call you when ready. Great experience every time. Highly recommend the Lexus product.

I had a minor service issue and was in and out and handled in less than 5 minutes!!3.11.21 Update: Yet another wonderful experience in dealing with Paula and Fields Service Dept. Although I am relocating to Bradford County soon for my residence, our offices are in Jacksonville, which makes continuing to have all of my service preformed here still a breeze!!

Neil S. did a fantastic job walking us through the process. We went to the dealership to look at a particular vehicle, and he set us up to test drive that one and another that was also interesting to us in a no-pressure sales situation. Paperwork was smooth. Information and offers top-notch. Definitely recommend.

Made service appointment and Lexus dealer was quick and thorough in servicing my GX460-it was a very pleasant experience !!

Vehicle delivered 24 hours after placing order. Sale was quick and efficient. However, the delivery technician explained nothing to me, particularly the technical aspects. Ana did set up cell phone, but could not do the same for the garage door opener. Im not sure if she is quite familiar with the vehicle, as she tried to help me find the spare tire, which we later found it does not exist. All in all, I am still glad I chose Lexus of Jacksonville, and love my new car.

Allen showed great patience in dealing with me as I had to change my appointment several times due to health issues. He was right on time for my appointment and had my rental car all ready for me. The inside of my car looked brand new from the clean up job! Then Richard, the tech instructor, took the time to explain how the electronics of my car worked in a manner a 71 year old could understand. He patiently repeated things to me several times and introduced me to features of my car I didn’t even know I had and I had purchased the car last August!
