This place is bar far the best coffee shop/cafe in Jacksonville!I’ve been going here since it was a tiny little hole in the wall back in 2010. I’m very glad it’s continued to grow and thrive over the years. I moved across the country and never found a place that feels like home like this place does. The people are awesome and many of the early employees/owners still work here.My personal favorite is the ice coffee with a little simple syrup and oat milk.They make a unbeatable breakfast sandwich here!! It starts with a home made biscuit, 2 fried eggs, melted cheese, fresh sliced green peppers, red onion, and tomato. This thing is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had and is always the perfect way to start the day!!

Great food and coffee. Wish there were more gluten free options... especially for toast or Mr. Loco. Look forward to dining again!

Worst experience ever in a coffee shop. You have to put in your own order which is very confusing trying to figure out what is what on their electronic tablet. It wouldn’t be a problem if the menu wasn’t abbreviated. While we were in the middle of putting our order in on the tablet the employee literally snatched it out of our hands to put in a call in order. He didn’t even say anything just snatched it out of our hands. Extremely rude. Would not recommend coming here unless you like the experience of the rudest customer service you can find. Only reason it has one star is because you can’t do negative stars or else it would be a negative 10.

It was a good place to get a quick breakfast sandwich that was on point and the coffee came in a large cup and was hot and ready. ☺

Most of the recent negative reviews are only because the staff wasnt wearing masks. Had nothing to do with the restaurant itself or the service they provide. So Im countering with an equally irrelevant review. There were a lot of attractive women coming in and out or hanging our inside. Fine, Ill add some relevant info. Very open layout with chairs, pews and couches. Plenty of tables, too. The woman who took my order was very friendly. The food is a bit overpriced but what do you expect? I had the Del Fuego wrap. Good quality, just wish it cost a little less. Anyway, Ill be back!

While the food was good I was very disappointed to see that not one staff member or customer, other than myself, had on a mask. I post this as I read an article about how the hospitals and medical staff are overwhelmed with covid patients and simply worn down. Is it any wonder when businesses choose to ignore CDC guidelines? I won’t be back anytime soon.

Awesome place, awesome staff awesome location, awesome food. We always come here to have breakfast on weekends despite the fact that we drive about 25 minutes from home. It definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

Food is good however lost a star for the fact that we called in an order and when we got there the line was super long full of people not knowing that they wanted so it took 20 minutes just to pick up our already made food. Please have a separate line for call ahead orders.

I used to eat at Delicomb quite often prior to the pandemic. Today, I walked in and was astonished that no one was wearing a mask (none of the employees). I work in healthcare and have seen firsthand how tragic and awful COVID can be. You wear a mask to protect others, and others wear a mask to protect you. Wearing a mask is a sign of mutual respect.If the nation’s top 10 largest retail chains have a mask mandate, I think your small business can as well.Additionally, according to the WHO, masks when worn the right way do not cause you to breathe in more carbon dioxide or reduce your oxygen levels. I highly doubt ALL of your employees have a serious enough lung condition preventing them from being able to tolerate a mask.

Delicomb has been a staple in my diet since moving to Jacksonville. The food and coffee are both amazing and the employees are always so friendly. The owner is there every single time I come in and its easy to see how devoted he is to ensuring that everything runs smoothly! Hands down one of the best eats in Jax.

This is a great locals place thats across the street from the beach. Good sandwiches. I think Ive had 3-4 so far. Mr Loco is a standard go to.I love the vibe. Its easy to meet people. Super friendly-homey-neighborhoody kinda place. Or if I need to flip my headphones on and stick my nose into the grindstone, its good for that too.Speedbomb...best caffeinated morning boost in the area.

Great spot! Wonderful ladies working behind the counter. (Smiles for miles) I got myself an iced “speed bomb” coffee with an espresso shot, and a “works” breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. Great options for seating, couches, club chairs, outdoor patio, booths, etc. I’ll definitely be back. And after COVID I might even hang out a bit. 😉 Keep up the great work.

Weve ordered to go and food in at Delicomb many times since moving to Jacksonville 8 weeks ago, and we love the choices in the menu, and how delicious and fresh the food is!! Highly recommend. The location is also perfect!

The owner responds to all negative reviews defensively and refuses to acknowledge any wrong on Deli Combs behalf.I came here often for several years but my most recent visit will be my last. I rarely have menu requests, the one time I did it was met with a sense of complete inconvenience and down right rudeness. The Kale Caesar Salad I ordered had the dressing on the side so I asked the staff if it can be tossed in the dressing. The young lady, clearly annoyed, said she didnt understand what I meant by tossed and stormed off into the open kitchen with my food having a very visible and annoyed conversation with the owner/manager. My salad was brought back to the counter by the owner and he began accosting the first customer at the countertop about my request because he thought it was their salad. I came to the counter while he was being rude with her told him the salad was mine. He stopped, slid the salad across the counter toward me and said the kitchen isnt equipped to toss a salad, turned around and walked away.You mean to tell me that to dont have a pair of tongs and bowl?! You have an open concept kitchen where anyone can see that you have plenty of both! I was dumbfounded that a simple request was met with animosity, I just took my food and left. There was never an so much as an apology for being rude to the other customer.***This review was left late.

The staff was not wearing masks. When I asked about it, the gentleman told me he’s not enforcing it. I called in my order to pick up and ordered two sixteen ounce coffees. I was given 12 ounce cups and didn’t realize until I got home because I was so thrown-off by no masks being worn. I used to go here often before the pandemic. The food is good. I will not be returning.

The best deli in the WORLD. For breakfast, Mr. Loco. For lunch, King Caesar. Fresh food ingredients, creative menu, highly attentive staff. Why isn’t this a chain everywhere??!

About half the employees (including all of the cashiers and baristas interacting with customers) were wearing no mask at all, and those that were wearing masks in the back were wearing them below the nose and in some cases the mouth. As far as I know this is against the law in Duval County. Beyond that, they forgot about my drink and I had to remind them after I finished the rest of my meal. The bagel sandwich and latte were both good but I wont be back given the other reasons.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops! Plus their sandwich the Mr. Loco is my number one favorite sandwich ever. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend. They have great food, coffee, and atmosphere. Can’t beat a Saturday morning with coffee and breakfast at Delicomb then a walk on the beach!

We loved this place. Not TOO expensive for the quality you get and it’s a block from the beach. Super fresh, my boyfriend got the T Bam wrap and it was delicious. Great latte. I did see an employee talking back to a manager right at the counter which was odd. Other than that it was very enjoyable and I’ll be going back when in Jacksonville

Im a construction worker I dont get a long lunch and I waited entirely too long for basically a ham & cheese wrap. Then they put it on the counter for who knows how long because nobody called me up for it... I only found it when I asked about my order and the cashier had no idea where it was. Just bad customer service I guess.

Awesome restaurant. The menu is loaded with healthy options. My favorite is the Pesto Panini. The coffee is most excellent. The atmosphere is laid back. Customer service is always respectable.

Delicomb was an interesting combination of gen z meets 90s hipster grunge. I eyed the fermented onions but who needs that many fermented onions really?tea had refills but was $3 for a venti. coffee was Starbucks style.they had many kinds and they looked good but we did not have any.i would try a sandwich Id I made it back to Jax Beach.

This is one of the beaches secret hot spots. Food is very healthy and extremely delicious. A young hip crowd frequent this Beachside oasis.If you are hanging out at the beach this is one of the best breakfast and lunch places around.They do not serve dinner and are closed Mondays..

Horrible service. Blond girl was so inpatient and very rude and couldn’t take my order right and was making me guilty about it. Bad atmosphere, no description of what they offer, no pastries shown at the counter to choose so you have to ask for it. When you ask for details for something in a menu they being rude. Avoid at all cost, go to starbucks better! Coffee is nothing special and overpriced!

The service is amazing. I felt super bad because I came in 30 minutes before closing and they were super warm and friendly. They have the best Acai bowls. Nothing is better after a nice beach day in the sun to come in an have a refreshing bowl of fruit granola and honey. Thank you so much ❤️

Ive been here probably a dozen times and usually like one of their breakfast items as there are few vegan options items as there are you being an option for breakfast at the beach this morning when I was ordering I got the impression that the owner was taking my order and at first he seemed nice until I changed my mind about getting cream cheese on the bagel which I asked him to take it off politely he then asked what I wanted to do with it I said oh just take it off and he said okay so how do you want it very snappily to which I replied just playing please and then he responded so whats playing again extremely Snappy and flustered and trying to answer quickly I responded just regular to which he snapped again whats regular?! The rest of the staff has always been very nice and Ive enjoyed their acai Bowl many times but this man was absolutely rude and extremely out of line and I wont be eating here anymore because I dont want to give business to somebody whos going to treat customers like that for God knows what reason

Super fresh foods and yummy tasting coffee. Highly recommend going if you want something fresh and tasty that wont leaving you feeling overfull and sluggish. Definitely want to go again.

Very rude service today, but maybe just to colored people. Manager (Brown hair and mustache) who was making coffee, was nice to everyone else who ordered in front of me, smiling at everyone. I was waiting patiently for my drink near the counter but far enough to not block anything or in anyone’s way.The manager who was making a drinks, placed a drink in the counter he just finished making. He just placed it on the counter and did not name the drink, nor the name of who ordered it. Not seeing anyone else go up the counter and claim the drink, I go up and ask if it was for me. Before I could even finish saying my first word, the manager who made the coffee interrupts and says “NO THAT IS NOT YOURS!” In a tone that made it sounds like I was about to steal someone else’s drink. He didn’t even name the order or name, how does someone know. Even worse, when he finished my coffee he just places it on the counter, and again not naming the order nor name of the person. Even though I was right there waiting, and he knew it was mine he didn’t say anything. If it wasn’t for the nice young lady behind the counter, noticing my drink just waiting to be claimed, I’m sure the manager would have just let it sit there.Very rude management, i would of somewhat understood if it was busy but it wasn’t. Decent food, okay price, but very rude management (brown hair man, with brown mustache) will not return, and won’t be recommending to any friends.Just go to Bold Bean, Southern Grounds, or Breezy Cooffee!

I hate leaving negative reviews anywhere, and Im sure its not a reflection on the place as a whole, but the person who took my order was incredibly impatient and acted like I was the worst part of their day.It wasnt busy and I didnt even step in line until I was sure I knew what I wanted to order, so its not like I was wasting anybodys time.The coffee was fine, and I was interested in trying the food another time, but Im honestly not interested in coming back.

Delicomb is you average cafe. Theyre a bit overpriced for the quality there. Ive gotten decent drinks from them. However, my very first time I ordered my go-to drink from which I judge a good cafe from the rest of the pack. Which is a spiced iced chai tea latte. And I watched them pour it from a container - a brand you can find in the local grocery store. And I paid about 5$ for it. And was so disappointed. I gave them another chance and have been back to try something else, which was not poured from a container, and was a customizable drink. Which were okay. But never got over my first disappointed visit. If Im gonna pay those prices, I might as well head over to Starbucks.

The menu placement was a little awkward, but the food looked good. I had the acai bowl, which was delicious. The friendly staff were quick with answers, but I was a little confused about vegan/allergy options. Next time Ill ask more questions. The seating felt weird, and their supplies were in an open corner giving the whole place a backroom kind of feel. It made me uncomfortable so I got my food to go. Whenever Im at the beaches Ill be sure to stop by.

Well Designed breakfast/brunch with healthy gourmet style breakfast and coffees. Location has a very beachy/NYC trendy coffee shop feel. Everyone into eating healthy and running the beach should stop in for a expresso and Mr. Loco.

I ordered the vegan wrap and it was okay..it had way too much hummus....and lacked enough tomatoes. Overall taste was meh.. Presentation was nice which is the only thing they seem to care about. Please dont eat there. Customer service is absolutely unprofessional. We spoke to the manager and he was so rude. I can see why others who left bad reviews b/c of our experience.
