This Fresh Thyme in Broad Ripple had a few things I hadnt seen before at other stores. As always though, they had what I needed to get and it was a great experience!

I used to love going to this store. Recently, every time I visit, the cashiers are so unfriendly I wish I had gone to another farther grocery. On more than 4 occasions, the cashier does not say hello, how are you, have a nice day, anything! They do not acknowledge you at ALL. It is so rude, unprofessional, and dampers the entire experience. Today, the cashier did not acknowledge me or say a single word, and then proceeded to toss (literally throw) all of my groceries in a pile in the top of my 2-level cart. She then topped it off with a gallon of milk, unbagged. All groceries were crushed. Do better- Your employees should reflect your business.

The manager of this store (K--e) literally ignored and walked right past my DoorDash delivery driver today, and when she finally got him to respond to her, he was unbelievably rude when she was only asking a question on my behalf. I heard the entire interaction. The manager was described to me as a balding, caucasian male. Not a good look for Fresh Thyme Broadripple especially when this driver is a minority female working a part time job in addition to her full-time. He treated her like she was bothering him, and her questions were stupid. This manager needs an attitude adjustment. I will only shop on 86th from now on.

Great grocery store with a unique selection of items. Polite helpful staff as well. This is right on the red line as well.

This is the ULTIMATE Fresh Thyme of Indianapolis.Pro-tip: the main entrance is across their parking garage. I couldnt get in through the glass doors on the north side of the building around 9pm lol.The store is set up much more uniquely than the others and I love it! What with their own designated parking garage, coffee shop, hot prepared foods, a more diverse meat counter (with more seafood options)... And a few more little things youd catch if youve been a loyal shopper to any of the other stores around! Time will tell about the staff, they brought in some of the best from other stores, hope the new employees can keep up the great atmosphere

I had great help in the store. Found everything I need, and it wasnt too expensive.

I went in for various health food/supplement items not fully expecting to find them. But, to my surprise they were all available in stock. Staff not the most friendly or helpful, but I appreciate the variety of what the store has available.

They didn’t have green onions. Staff at checkout was nice though.

Delicious creative house-brand Chicken & Tuna Salads. Super customer service, especially in produce, deli and the meat counter. Shop the weekly specials, and you save enough to get some of their pricier items. Don’t shop too close to closing time...produce gets put back early.This location is small and, with COVERED GARAGE PARKING, so convenient for quick shopping even in bad weather. The larger 86th Street location stocks a greater variety (noticeable more for shelved goods) but busier and often has lines for checkout.

Very nice place to go grocery shopping. They have a great selection of fresh, organic foods. The price is a little bit expensive but you can find some good deals sometimes.

Ive never been here after 7pm. I hear the pizza by the slice is pretty good. I dont know personally since I always get here about 6 and Ive seen burnt black on the bottom pizza once. Not sure what available everyday 5-7 means, since Ive been in a couple dozen times different days of the week.

Despite the restrictions that cause Fresh Thyme not to have e an open salad bar, they still do a great job offering pre-packaged fresh salads and sushi made daily. Great selection of quality and healthy foods at fair prices. Get your bulk items like almonds and trail mix and get supplies to make your own specialty blends right in the store!

Reading the other reviews makes me realize it wasnt just me thinking that more than a few cashiers are less than kind, especially when you see them smiling at the customers before you. We shouldnt have to tell you to be kind. Im only in here if Im in a pinch.

The staff here is always super friendly but they are always out of stock of common items (chips, frozen pizza, common veggies, tortillas, the list goes on...). Im tied of it and will now go a few blocks south to Fresh Market.

This is one of my favorite stores. I shop for instacart so I frequently visit different stores and compare. This is arguably the one with the most friendly staff. The produce section is well stocked, clean and organized with fresh food at great prices.

I love coming in here and getting the best stuff.

It was a very pleasurable experience especially with my cashier, Raquel.The other times I have gone to this store has been unpleasant and not welcoming.Im glad to see continued diversity in the store.

I always come to this store for my shopping reasons and I also instacarted here too. I always come here and the people are nice as always! Today I had a bad experience with a cashier, who gave me attitude for asking her to put my orders in paper bags(I’m with instacart today). I never had a bad experience here. But after she gave me a attitude and continued to ring up the items. She softly( couldn’t barley hear her) told me she is allergic to paper bags. I told her I can bag them if it helps. She said No in a Stern voice. After that I just grab my stuff and left. ONE! When I go into a grocery store I don’t know none of the staff. I don’t know them as like I know people as a friend. So that means I don’t anything about you especially if you have a allergy. That what you expect of people coming in a grocery store! TWO! IF SHE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME IN A NICE WAY I WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD! And I would have been fine switching to plastic bags. Please I ask you to talk to her about how to talk to someone. If she would have came to me in a different way, I would have understood.I didn’t see her name, (no name tag) But short girl with short brown or light brown hair with glasses.

I learned how to differentiate cilantro from parsley today thanks to a kind employee. I love the selection of organic produce here.

The food is always fresh and usually you get a good deal price wise. The store is really great place to shop. The produce, is the best part in the store. Its always fresh. And usually theres someone there to help you find whatever you looking for. Hot bars as well as salad bar food is always fresh. If you love seafood like I do, the meat department has great shrimp. I believe this one is the best one in the city.

The meat is such a high quality meat!!!!! Christopher works back in the meat department and really does knows what he is talking about. He is very nice and is very helpful. I recommend going to this store for your meats. The chicken and tuna salad get rave reviews from my 92 year old granny. She likes all of the varieties. My uncle’s favorite is the tuna dill salad. I’m expected to bring some when we visit them in Richmond. One of the young men in the deli went so far as to make me some chicken salad because they had sold out of everything. The cookies are great too. My mom’s favorite is the everything thing cookie.

Run of the mill Fresh Thyme. You know what youre getting, fresh food at reasonable prices. Ive always been lucky enough to get on street parking, never had to use the parking garage, but cant imagine its that difficult.

Found what I was looking.

I’m a long time shopper at this store, and I really like all the staff, but I won’t be going back. First of all, masks should be mandatory. Second, the check out clerks don’t wipe down anything, including payment machine, between customers. Since masks aren’t required, I ended up back to back with a young man with no mask as we both checked out. There isn’t enough space between check out lanes.

Fresh Thyme sells itself as something between Whole Foods and a regular grocery store in terms of selection and prices. You dont have to buy free range, organic vegan blah blah, but if you want that stuff its here. Very good produce section and a solid meat and seafood department staffed by real people. Prices are also reasonable - again between Whole Food and say Kroger. I shop here for produce and fresh stuff regularly.

While im sure in-store is generally fine, dont order them through DoorDash. I didnt get 2/3rds of my order and said that the items were out of stock. Somehow I severely doubt they were completely out of bread, chicken thighs, alfredo sauce, boxed pasta, and sliced turkey. I get the pandemic has screwed warehouses and stores pretty hard but all the ones downtown have bounced back fine overall and ostensibly they get more business.

I love the consistency in quality of their produce. You can tell the employees care about their customers; everything is so clean and well organized. The peppered bacon at the deli is a staple in our household! It also feels good knowing that a lot of their food is sourced locally.

This place is always packed with fresh food. Prices are on par with most chain stores. You can find some hard to locate items like dragon fruit. They also make their own potato chips which are really good. Check is always fast with the workers being courteous.

This has to be the best grocery store I have ever shopped at. My wife and daughter love this location. If your looking for one of a kind options and the best customer service words can express this is it. We always find something new to try here. The home made chips made on site are to die for. Friendly employees: the lady working in the eatery helped me the moment that I walked through the door; the cashier, Trina, provided great customer service, and the gentleman in the meat department was also very friendly. I went to purchase lamb chops and was surprised by the prices! 3 packs, 4 chops each, $16.xx! Not bad 🙂Plan to revisit and I definitely recommend!

Theres so many unique items at this location. I love the Potato chip stand. I recently discovered the yummy Olive tapenade from the bar. It was amazing. I love all of the bins where you can buy dry ingredients and get just the amount you need. I do my weekly grocery shopping here. Great prices on everything. Everyone must try the apple wood smoked bacon, carne asada, whole lobster and $5 sushi Thursdays. Pre- quarantine my husband and I would sit outside and eat lunch. I love this place.

Love the Fresh Thyme in Broad Ripple. It is convenient to come and go even with the parking garage. Usually busy but it is a steady flow. The store is laid out well and the produce is fantastic consistently. The weekly specials are always the best in town and if you eat seasonally, your food budget will lower as mine did even with eating organic. Hands down THE best market in the area.

We went into Fresh Thyme today and bought a few items. When we got to the cash register, the cashier never once made eye contact with us, she made eye contact with the previous customer. She rang up our items and the person with me started to place the items in a sack. Each item she rang up she toss over on the counter not taking into consideration that the items belong to someone. She gave a quick downward odious glance at the person packing the bag and I asked myself why the dirty downcast look. We only had 4 items but who wants to buy bruised food. At the end of the visit I stood looking at the computer screen tempted to walk out and leave the products there, but the person with me already had them on their arms. As I stood there waiting to pay she laughed out which was followed by me asking to speak with her manager. She turned to her colleague on the next cash register and ask the colleague can you speak to this lady she needs to speak to a manager. I requested a manager not her cohort so her colleague called the manager.I have been a customer with Fresh Thyme since they came to Indiana and on most instances the cashiers are welcoming and personable, however, within the past 3 weeks I have encountered two employees who both are of totally different background than us who did the same thing --toss our produce. Fresh Thyme needs to provide customer service training to their employees on how to respect ALL customers and how to handle people food. They should not have to teach cashiers this, common sense should dictate that if someone buys tomato or any other soft produce they probably dont want their items to be a mush before they even get out of the store. Not everyone like their produce soft and bruise before they even walk out of the store. How difficult is it to be courteous to all customers? I will not be shopping at this location again. It is worth the drive out of the city.

Just opened within the last several days and we wanted to see what all the hubbub was all about.The parking was easy and plenty of space available. Dont want to forget that a light was put in on College that gives south bound traffic an arrow to turn left.The store was obviously clean and well put together. There were plenty of employees all over the store to help - chaotic, but well organized was my initial impression.The store was vast and had a lot of good items. Even a bit cheaper than our normal grocer.We will be back!

This location always has good vibes! I have had so many positive experiences here and really too many to list. When I wanted to see if they could carry a brand of cookies I like, the guy I asked was pleasant and joked with me and then asked the correct person, who tried to order it. This was a couple weeks ago. Today, when I was in, they recognized me and told me the status of the cookies! There was another employee singing along with the music today and it made everyone smile and laugh. The cashiers are always so pleasant too. Ive been here at least 20 to 30 times and its always like this! Thank you :)

I was really impressed! Great selection of different items. You can get a burger, a slice of pizza, sushi, fill a growler of beer, great selection of health supplements. I was amazed.

Liked it when I could pay for my smoothie at the smoothie station instead of going up to the registers and waiting in another line to pay. Im normally stoned and wanting to be in and out. Last time Jess was about to go to Jamaica and got snappy with me when I asked her what flavor brand of crushed fruit and ice she wanted. I acted like I let it roll of me but I think I brought it up a week later. I think Im getting the hang of it though. Peace love the journey and stuff.

I understand trying to be precautions because of covid; but forcing patrons out of a store because of they brought in reusable bags, while your staff arent wearing any ppe, is kind of contradictory. Last time Im shopping here.

Today I came in to lodge a complaint about Jumbo raisins. Their supplier is cheating Fresh Thymes by filling half the box with cheap, mini, flavorless raisins (different variety). The person who helped me rolled his eyes at his colleague, making me feel I was bothering them. Super unprofessional and not customer friendly.

It was okay. Went in looking for a selection of hot foods, and they had rotisserie chicken, but it didnt look cooked very well. Found one which was acceptable looking and it was okay. It seems to be a grocery store targeted to individuals, not families. At least, not larger families.

Clean and well laid out. Stocked almost excess. Has brands of products not normally seen here. Your basic basket of everyday staples costs quite a bit more than most local traditional grocers. I guess the location factors into this!

Typically do not frequent this awesome place but definitely am going back. Its like a Whole Foods but less expensive. Or at least it seems that way. Great looking produce and meat.

They always carry the items that other stores do not. Lots of healthy items that you cant find almost anywhere else. Also the store is always clean and the staff is always helpful.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The selection is incredible, and I always know I can find healthy options for my family at a reasonable price. We buy our health supplements here as well.

The people were very nice. They did not have standard Bratwurst, so the Butcher showed me another pork sausage he eats regularly. He took the time to tell me about the sausage and the difference help. He even told me to come back if I did not like them! Somehow I think they will be fabulous.
