The FOOD. The whole menu is vegan, and everything is delicious. We’ve been to a number of places around Indianapolis, and this is one of our favorite! Great appetizer, sandwich, and salad selection. They have lots of lunch and dinner options. The 10th street burger is great, and the battered fries are amazing. If you haven’t been, this is definitely a spot to check out.

They set the bar pretty high because the texture and flavor made it taste better than any chicken wing Ive ever had. ⁣⁣The chili and burger were so satisfying that they left me speechless. (And rarely am I left speechless with food)⁣⁣Now I understand why the Southwest BBQ Burger was a local favorite.Not only did was i full after eating but i didnt break the bank! The staff made you feel like their family as soon as you walked in.

Not a lot of choices on the menu. However what is on the menu is treated as if its King of the menu. Had the recommended Reuben sandwich. Absolutely delicious!!! Along with the sandwich tried a local beer, IPA, Citrogenesis. Actually out of Terre Haute. Different taste but still a fair tasting wheat ale. Chips were an option. Thanks for the experience.

Omg! Hands Down best Vegan Food in Indy!.So happy we decided to try it out today,We tried the Submarine and the 10th Street Burger and we cant decide which one we love more as both were excellent choices.And as we are enjoying our food Karen comes by and offers us a sample of her just made chicken pop pie.Omg, another home run we love it so much that we order one to go home.We just got home and enjoyed it.Thank you!So much Karen for having so great energy to make such great awesome food for the belly, the soul, and the planet we are coming back soon!Ah, and the location is nice, clean, and clutter-free.Kudos to your business.Taina & Gary.

This place comes highly recommended and I’ve been meaning to visit for a while but finally had a chance to yesterday for brunch I’m glad I did the staff is very friendly and attentiveI was impressed with the setup of the inside location its spaced out because of covid but still feels homey.your order at the front counter and your food are brought out to you.It is a decent size brunch menu I decided to get the breakfast burrito and a small side of biscuits and gravy they were delicious, flavorful, and the burrito was spicy but not too spicyAs for drinks, I got the smoked cherry kombucha which was very tasty then I had a refreshing bloody Mary that was just all-around tasty and not thick like some our and I also had a great Mimosavegan food isn’t something I typically see out however I’m always got to try something new in this place does vegan food very well I’ll have to go back to try out some more dishes on the lunch menu.

I was so excited to finally eat here! The service was great and the food was amazing! My husband and I visited the restaurant today and it was beyond our expectations! The service was great and the food was delicious. We had the Buffalo seitan wings, chili cheese fries & the buffalo chicken sandwich. The ranch dressing was soooooo good!! Everything we had was delicious and worth more visits. Also... it was all vegan, yay!!!

Best Reuben Ive had since going plant based hands down. I dont think I would have been able to tell a difference between it and a corn beef Reuben.

Great service: patience with my daughter ordering, answered questions about specials (even going to the cook to double-check), quick to bring us ketchup, to-go box.Great food: My daughter loved her BLT. My gyro was large, with great sauce and ample toppings and chips. My wife raved about her salad. My younger son enjoyed his grilled cheese and fries. Prices were reasonable to very good.Building was well-apportioned and clean.Not too many vegan places are kid-friendly, fresh, and reasonably priced. This is one of them.

I was seriously impressed with the 10th Street Diner! The service was amazing and the food was great too! I wasn’t too crazy about the vegan lasagna but I am totally willing to try this place out again! I ordered the seitan wings with ranch sauce and these blew other vegan wings I’ve tried out of the water! Creative menu. Flavors and food quality were ok, but not great. Full disclosure: As a carnivore, Im not the most qualified to speak to this menu but wanted to support my wife and daughter who are plant-based.

This was a very unexpected treat in my old childhood neighborhood in Indy! Picked up several things for the trip home. This happens to leftovers from lunch. Great job 10th Street Dinner!!

Great little place. High quality and delicious foods. The brussel sprouts as a side and on the arugula salad were stupendous. We will definitely be back. It was good to see that they had a steady stream of customers on a Wednesday night.

It is a nice place to take a vegan. For real. My (adult) daughter so rarely can just order off of a menu without multiple steps or worry. Five-stars for that alone. She also really enjoyed, nay, relished, the seitan Ruben sandwich. It was a good portion, priced well, and made 2 servings. I did the chili cheese fries. If I had them again Id order without cheese, as I am not a vegan and dont particularly care for cheese replacements personally. The chili was good. They do have the opportunity to use hand cut fries instead of frozen bagged, which I hope they choose to do at some point. Ambiance was great, its a good-looking spot, and the fella at the register was helpful and professional. All in all I recommend. Im sure well be back and Im looking forward to trying other options from the menu.

This was our first visit to 10th Street Diner, but it won’t be the last! They’re menu changes weekly and sometimes daily, which is fun! We went for Saturday Brunch and got 3 entree’s because we couldn’t decide! First up was the Monte Cristo Sandwich with Biscuits and Gravy as the side. The sandwich was very good, but not a traditional Monte Cristo...the biscuits and gravy were fire!! The biscuits were flaky and the gravy was light and bursting with flavor. Next up was the Breakfast Migas...this was also amazing! Finally we ordered the Pumpkin Spice Chick’n and Waffles which was a perfect fall breakfast choice. We ordered at the counter and chose our seats and the food was delivered when ready. The staff were super friendly! We absolutely loved our experience!

I went from keto to vegan after I watched a documentary and always passed this place and after I tried them now I go often. I love the buffalo chicken sandwich and the seitan wings. Ive gotten the cucumber salad and broccoli apple salad, everything Ive had from them I enjoy.

This was our first time here. We recently transitioned to plant based but our 12 yr old still is meat eating. He even liked it. Great service too.

Not vegan, but we wanted to try it based on the good reviews. Little pricey for the portions, and line to order was a bit long since 1 poor girl was taking orders, running food, answering the phone and taking phone orders, etc. all by herself. Service suffered because of that, although she was doing the best she could. Not her fault, but youd expect more than 1 worker at dinner time, and it was fairly busy. Chimichanga was good, I appreciated the spiciness, but overall it was mediocre. Girlfriend got the chicken dinner and really enjoyed it. I thought the chicken tasted like fried stovetop stuffing more than anything else, but the sides it came with made up for it. Overall, I wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, and I live within walking distance. Could be a decent healthier takeout option i suppose.

These people are awesome and have THEE best vegan food in the city . If you disagree, you had to be born without any sophisticated taste buds .

I guess I knew I was in trouble when the person taking my order said, I don’t eat vegan?I tried coming here over a year ago and it really hasn’t changed. I choose to be vegan but, cannot eat gluten. At all !! I know it’s not that hard. I have to make up new dishes all the time!!!I struggle finding places that truly get it and can prepare food without gluten. YouTube is my cookbook friend. Arrived in time for Sat. brunch and was delighted w the ChikN and waffles. Everything was delicious. got the San pellegrino and the vegan chicken, awesome. PS: they have their own parking lot.

I am not vegan and I love this place. Fabulous food. Great staff. And Karen is an awesome cook. Everything is made with love. The lasagna sauce was so fresh and delicious I wanted to lick the plate.

Love me some 10th Street Diner! Delicious vegan food for everyone. My partner is not vegan & he is frequently the one who suggested we go. Always good service. You order at the counter & you food is brought to you. They are taking COVID seriously and all employees were masked on our most recent visit. Distancing is also in place. Limited seating indoors & outside seating as well. We sat outside in front of the restaurant & were not close to anyone else. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved 10th Street Diner. They were sold out of many things (which is great because it means theyve been busy!) Go early if you want to order a specific item! Everything we tried was delicious. I got the black bean burger and the sauce on it was great. Delicious French fries! I definitely recommend the chili cheese fries as well. Everything Ive had there has been excellent. The BBQ - now my favorite - had just the right amount of zing. The Brussels sprouts were a perfect match with it. Super nice folks and friendly curbside service.

I love this place. Every time weve gone weve had nothing but excellent service. Theyre so patient. The owner is so involved with his staff and customers. Even when something doesnt go right they go out of their way to fix it. Even if service is a wait, its worth it. For the atmosphere food and employees. Its such a quaint little place and the food is amazing!!! I went vegan after losing my taste and smell to covid 8 months ago. The textures of their food is par non. The service excellent. I have been working my way through the menu and have only tried one thing that wasnt to my liking. The have a small special board on the check out counter that gets overlooked make sure you check that out there are some onetime gems on there too.Edit: add some more photos

So thankful for a FULL vegan restaurant/menu! I can honestly say that my family goes minimum once a week. EVERYTHING we have had is delicious, service is always exceptional and warming. Staff is always friendly and food comes out quick. Go go go!!! Even non vegans we have taken LOVE it! Chefs kiss!

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here! Pretty laid back, everyone seemed in good spirits! Had the chorizo chimichanga, which was soooo good! There were 4 of us, so we had a salad and a couple of kids grilled cheese meals, and everyone was satisfied! My kids rarely like fries, and they loved the ones that campe with their meal! Definitely worth checking out for some delicious vegan eats!

We had the meatballs for an appetizer. Yum! My daughter had the chicken salad and she really enjoyed that. I had the reuben with seitan and the broccoli/apple salad. It was also good. We ordered a side of brussel sprouts and they were my favorite item. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant. About time Indy has a restaurant that offers some tasty vegan options. We have tried other places in Indy but this by far had the best tasting items.

You dont need to be a vegan to find some enjoyable food here.Good service, decent value. The neighborhood is still very much up and coming, so keep that in mind.My only real gripe is that many things are processed, and not made from scratch, such as faux meet proteins and queso.

The Lasagnas is the best! My second choice, when that is sold out, is the yummy chicken pot pie. It comes with crispy flakey cakes on the side wow. Fried green tomatoes are a must try as well. You can taste the love in this food. My favorite part about the diner is that everything on the menu is vegan, and they always have great desserts to choose from. They even have paper straws yaay. I also adore the chimichurri.

Awful service by whoever’s working the register. I called and asked to place an order for carry out and asked what their soup and salad was. The guy was audibly annoyed with me, saying “Oh I thought you knew menu.” Even though the menu wasn’t posted online today (it rarely is).Anyway, placed my order, he confirmed it, and I asked if I could have it ready for pickup at 6:30. The guy got even more upset, telling me he’d have no idea what to do or where to put the ticket and he wouldn’t remember to do it. He said more but I honestly couldn’t understand any of it. I just told him to forget about it, and he ended saying “Yeah don’t do that again.”Only reason this isn’t a one star is because the food is actually pretty good.

Was okay. Wasnt the full fledge vegan experience I expected. Think more so because of what I chose. Had vegan burger and chips. Thought I was getting actual kettle chips with them when I asked for them instead of fries. Got nacho chips?? Burger looked and tasted like a plain Morningstar Bean Burger. So if I was someone getting items from this place, Id try the ones that cant easily be turned into vegan items from their nonvegan counterparts. Just my take. Kind of expensive for the quality and limited menu (in my opinion), so bring money if you want to experience the better authentic vegan choices

10th Street Diner is a great addition to the Indianapolis restaurant scene. Everything weve tried from them has been absolutely delicious! We could not recommend them enough. Our favorite is the House Cheese Dip and the 10th Street Burger, delicious!!

As a vegan, I LOVE 10th street diner. I highly recommend the submarine sandwich, as it has great seasoning and taste, making is feel like youre eating a real one. Along with that, they have great customer service and I have never had to wait long for my takeout orders (ready in less than 10 minutes). They also give a cash discount so good to know before you visit. Both vegans and meat-eaters should give this place a try :)

Fantastic! A little hole in the wall spot thats 100% plant-based! Food is delicious and portions are worth the price! About as expensive as somewhere like Yats or Kumas Corner! Good variety of beer. I will recommend going as early as possible because some items on the menu were sold out for the day, including the iced tea! I had the Submarine and chili cheese fries and they were both superb!

I absolutely LOVE this place! If you are questioning going then you definitely should. Everything I have tried has been delectable. I do hope for them to be open more in the future but understand with the way things are right now.P.S. The brussel sprouts are divine

I ordered the Brussels Sprouts and the portobello mushroom Rueben. Didnt miss the meat even a little bit!

My fiancé is vegetarian/vegan, and I eat everything. I was wildly impressed with how yummy and filling the vegan food was here! We ordered the chicken/bacon/ranch sandwich and the rueben, both which could have fooled a meat eater. We also had the saucy, tasty Thai barbque and buffalo wings with their creamy dill ranch dressing, crispy fires, potato salad fit for a wedding, creamy Mac-n-cheese that had an intriguing hint of sweetness, and brussel sprouts that popped with mind blowing flavor. From a meat eater’s perspective, if this kind of food was available all over the world, it would be easy to shift into global veganism.

Not my cup of tea in fact if you dont want a beer or glass of warm wine then tea is ir only option they do not offer soft drinks.this place is not for kids I paid 23$ for a chicken sandwich and fries and a tea...🤨

Wow. It’s all vegan; I just had a seitan Reuben sandwich and it was awesome. 10/10 will eat there again. The fries alone will score big with any foodie and even if you aren’t a Vegan it’s worth trying something different.

I got the rib dinner & WOW they tasted just like GLORY GREENS?!!! Ironic....EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT GLORY GREENS TASTE LIKE & I BET THATS WHAT THEY WERE. I would recommend THREE CARROTS or if your alkaline vegan CULDESAC KITCHEN over this place. Start asking what’s in your food & how it was made! You shouldn’t have to ask these things, but ig for places like these you do! BEWARE
