If I could give this company zero stars I would. We signed a contract w them in November 2020 to have cabinets installed throughout our home. Kitchen, all bathrooms, utility room, basement bar area, and Garage. We made it clear we needed them done no later than end of March 2021. We gave them a deposit and we were assured it wouldn’t be a problem. As soon as we signed the deal and gave the deposit, the excuses started. They said we couldn’t meet until late December because of the holidays but they assured us that wouldn’t delay the completion of the job. Then they cancelled our meeting days before and said it would need to be moved to Jan 6th but don’t worry it won’t delay the job. Then January 5th they called us and said they had to delay the meeting w their in house designer again until 1/18. She supposedly had COVID. Once again they assured us the job would still be able to be done by end of March. We finally met on 1/18 and spent 2 hours w the woman finalising all our choices. We had to carry it over until next day because she had another appointment and we came back to their showroom that next day to finish. We were told even then that we should still be on track for end of March. We asked the lady to come to the house because some of the stuff we were discussing seemed to be confusing her and so we wanted her to at least do one site visit before the cabinets were built just to make sure everything was accurate. She couldn’t come for almost another 2 weeks and the morning she was coming she emailed us that there was a problem she would tell us about when arriving. She arrived and she said that the salesman had miscalculated the kitchen and we couldn’t do the design we chose w the cabinets we picked because it couldn’t have a lazy Susan and the backsplash would only be 15 inches high and my wife wanted 18 inches so small appliances like coffee maker could fit under the cabinets on the counter. So the designer said sorry but only way to do this would be fully custom cabinets at an additional $6000 on top of the $50000 we already contracted for. We were not happy but we had been strung along for months and we were kind of backed into a corner because we wanted to be able to move in by March and this was really screwing us up w our move in date as this is a new home we bought and our current home is over 200Miles away. Then she gave the really bad news that and oh by the way- there is no way now that we can get this done by end of March. We said when would it be finished and she said end of May at earliest or end of June at latest. This was just not acceptable. She said, we can still stay on schedule for the end of March but we would have to get all our own electricians and plumbers. I agreed to this and found our own people and then she sent me a message a few days later saying Sorry but we can’t do the job anymore. So we are refunding your deposit. They said I was rude to them and they can’t do business w someone like that and so they are canceling the job. We had 2 other bids and they literally cost us 3 months and now we are back to square one looking for a cabinet company and this has delayed us moving in until at least early summer. This caused us so much stress I can’t even begin to articulate it in this review. All I can say is that I would NEVER use this company. They will lie and make every excuse in the book and keep pushing back and canceling appointments. I think they are operating on a string, have zero organization, terrible internal communication, no one knows what the other person is telling clients, just a horrible experience overall.Mark Monaco

Craig and his team did cabinets for our kitchen and new laundry room. We LOVE them, and get so many compliments from our guests. They are amazing quality, gorgeous to look at, and very functional. We couldn’t be happier with our investment.

Cherished Woodcraft provided the custom cabinets for our newly finished basement in the bar area and full bathroom. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful, made with such high quality, and provide the no slam feature that will not allow the doors to be slammed even when forcefully shut! We love the cabinets and would recommend them to anyone building a home, finishing an unfinished area of their home, or simply looking to upgrade their existing cabinets. You will not be disappointed if you choose to do business with Cherished Woodcraft.

I had a terrible experience with this company building a custom built-in bookcase for me. First they painted it the wrong shade of white and tried to blame the error on me. Fortunately I had kept emails that proved them wrong. Then when they installed the bookcase they were suppose to include lights with a wall switch and a dimmer. This never happened and they put in lights with a remote control for on/off but no dimmer. Within 1 week, one of the 4 lights burnt out and they did replace it. Another burnt out within the first year and I contacted the owner but he doesn’t return my emails. There was supposed to be glass shelves in the middle of the bookcase and they brought wood before switching it out to glass. There was an issue with the door pulls/knobs, between what they had me choose and what I got. From the very beginning, this had been a cluster between what the salesman promised and what the owner delivered. The only positive is the gentleman who actually installed the bookcase ( Travis I believe) was very professional and polite. He made what I got look as good as possible. I was planning on using this company to add some cabinetry and a smaller bookcase in my house. Obviously this did not happen as I am disappointed with his company and can never recommend them or use them again.
