Let me tell you, these guys know what theyre doing and theyre reasonably priced as well! Id made the mistake of going to a different car repair place who told me I needed an engine swap on my car. Right....and Im the Pope! When I took my car to Mark and the guys they found out the problems and fixed my car like it was running new again for waaaaay less than my previous quote from the other guy. This is a great business I feel that I can trust. Kudos to all of you at Bullard Automotive!!!!!

While my boyfriend and I were on a three week cross-country road trip, the truck we were driving broke down in the middle of an off-ramp in Independence, Missouri. Without knowing the area, how we were going to fix our truck, where to take the truck and many other important details, we felt lost and confused. Tony from AAA Independence Towing promptly came to our aid and towed our truck to a safe location. Tony was incredibly kind and optimistic in our time of hardship. He recommended we tow the truck to Bullard Automotive. The next morning, Tony towed the truck to Bullard automotive. I have to admit that I was extremely nervous at first, but now I cannot be more grateful for ending up in that little shop. The mechanics immediately got to work on my vehicle, and informed me that the truck would need a brand new engine. It was an old truck with many miles on it. Unfortunately, we could not invest the time or money into fixing the truck and decided we had to get home another way. The kind-hearted, honest men who work in this shop helped me in every way they possibly could. I was given a ride to the post office so I could ship my belongings back home. We were offered a ride to our hotel and to the airport by almost all of the men in the shop. They let us keep the truck at their shop for the entire day so we could figure out how to get home. These men were so empathetic and kind to us. The next time I am in Independence, Im definitely going back to Bullard to visit. Thank you, guys!

They had my car for 25 days to replace the engine. They did it for a good price and were really friendly. My only complaint would be how long they had my car.

After reading the excellent reviews and by word of mouth I decided to check this place out. I am so glad I did. This place is as great as everyone says. I asked Mark a ton of questions and even with a printer malfunction he never got frustrated or seemed bothered by me at all. The staff are all very professional and very honest. The prices are fair and I would never feel like this place would rip me off. Bullards will be the only place I wil take my car for repairs. Thanks Mark and staff! You all truly deserve the 5 star review.

Bullard is amazing hands down. Always I have been given the best price for my auto repairs at bullard and the best customer service!I have been here with my vehicles 4+ times now and always appreciate the honesty and kindness I have been given the best price! Never once have I had to question the work done to my vehicles here, Ive had major maintenance like timing done and little work like pressure test on my radiator, Ive even had some minor electrical work done and each time Ive had something done its been a quick easy painless process!Get you a mechanic shop like bullard where they will literally hold your hand through the process of everything !

While they werent able to help due to the nature of the issue (broken catalytic converter) they referred me to an establishment that specialized in it and they charged me nothing 😊

I would like to praise Bullard Automotive for their honesty and hard work. My son took his car there when his A/C stopped running. I feared the worse thinking that he was going to have to replace the whole compressor and all costing him 1 or 2 thousand dollars. Well after running their checks they discovered that it was a blown fuse. In a world where sometimes it is hard to find a place that is not trying to get you for every penny, Bullard Automotive found and fixed the problem and had him back on the road for just the cost of the service call and a fuse. Thank You Bullard Automotive for being there, you have gained a repeat customer.

The moment I walked in the door I was treated kindly and respectfully by the men working there. They were able to squeeze me in for an inspection in between appointments, for which I am SO grateful. They have the sweetest “shop kitty” named Tater Tot that quietly collected pets from interested customers. The car was returned to me in clean condition. Thank you guys so much for helping me today!

I was just lucky to come across Bullard Automotive. I was needing an inspection on one of my vehicles and started driving up and down 24 hwy looking for inspection signs. After pulling in and asking multiple shops for assistance and being just turned away, I pulled into Bullard Automotive. They were very busy that day, but the owner reassured me that I could leave my vehicle there and she would have it worked in. Not only that, she drove me home so that I wasn’t sitting at the shop waiting. The owner also said she could come and pick me up when it was ready. Talk about customer service. On the drive to my house, I had mentioned that my husbands vehicle needed the headlights adjusted before he returned from deployment. The same great service happened again, not to mention the appreciation and gratitude they expressed for my husbands service. When you find people like this and a company like this, appreciate them to the fullest. Thanks so much!

This is one of those places that does police towing and the fees are based on the max allowable by law, which is fairly outrageous, but standard for the type of business it seems. Despite that, everyone was friendly and helpful and they were accommodating. I cant speak to the repair side of the business. They were within their rights to charge a lot more than they did because of an odd situation, but didnt.

Was up there this morning and I have to say, this place is awesome! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and....the manager Tater Tot is the friendliest! I highly reccomend this place! Thank you Bullard Auto!

Ive been using this repair service for about 4 years now and would not take my vehicle anywhere else. They have saved me a bunch of money by being honest. Being female I always worry that shops will try to take advantage of me but with Bullard Auto Service I dont have to worry about that since the owner is female. I would highly recommend them..

We have used Bullards for a long time. They have always done us right and saved us money at the same time. We maintain four vehicles, so I have a lot of interaction with them. I have no reason to believe that the new owners will be anything but fair and honest as well.

They had told me that I could fix my car for $6.00They did not try to make me have them fix it for meThey told me exactly what you do to fix my car and it was really great service

I could not shift my manual transmission into any gears so I brought it in to have them look at it. They said I would need an entire transmission swap, $1800.I took the car home and found that it was a $0.42 pin that had broken. I replaced the pin. Car runs fine.Bottom line is the guys at Bullard Auto Service are either liars or lazy and dont know what they are talking about; a terrible combination for a mechanic shop. Stay away!
