We are from out of town and have been to Mitchells numerous times. We cant say enough about the quality and scrumptious flavors that they offer. Their staff of young ladies that were working today in the Solon, Ohio location Saturday 7/10/2021 were very professional and helpful. We will be back! Thank you Mitchells! If youve never been there, you need to try them, you wont be disappointed.

This is my first time back after they renovated the store. The place is beautiful on the inside! The staff was very helpful in the line moved very quickly everybody was in good spirits who was working there and it was a pleasure to be there! And of course the ice cream is out of this world! I bought a quart of blue Cosmo for a birthday party And it was amazing!

This place has amazing ice cream! So many flavors and not your typical ones either! We love their wild berry crumble, key lime pie, and sea salt caramel. They’re SO GOOD. A little pricey compared to other ice cream places, this is definitely more “gourmet” but worth it. Dog approved.

First time going to a Mitchells Ice Cream Store. Wonderful experience! Ive always enjoyed their ice cream before, but its a whole other thing to go there in person.When you walk in, you can smell the various flavors of ice cream and the waffle cones in the air! Just physically entering in there and being hit by all those delightful scents put me in a better mood (and I was already in a pretty good mood).I ended up getting a butter pecan milkshake as an early birthday for myself. The staff was very pleasant and friendly (if you have an opportunity to tip them, please do; they deserve it)! And the shake of course was delicious!I look forward to visiting this location again in the near future!

Best ice cream in the world!! I have lived in two other countries and currently live out of state, yet Mitchells is 10000% still the best ice cream Ive had to date! My family and friends from Cleveland all feel the same way. Our all time favorite is the Peanut Butter Chocolate Pretzel Yogurt. Every fall we always make sure to get the Pumpkin Spice as well. Seriously though you cant go wrong - every flavor is ALWAYS phenomenal !!

When I lived in Solon years ago, Mitchell’s ice cream was always one of my favorites. Since moving away from the Cleveland area, I’ve missed it. Every time I go back for a visit, I make an obligatory visit. This last visit, the shop had undergone a remodel. I was glad to see that the train still ran around the ceiling of the store. I had the seasonal flavor, Campfire S’mores, which is one of my favorites. The quality is always consistent and flavors delicious! Please come to North Carolina and open a shop!

Super unique ice cream parlor! I read the reviews and decided it was worth a visit-- and I was right!! The staff was super friendly and the ice cream was delicious! My order was missing the nuts and when I brought it to their attention, they were great about re-making it. It is definitely pricey, but worth every penny! I will go back if im ever in the area.

I had ordered a single scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and a single scoop of chocolate but they forgot to put my chocolate ice cream in the bag. I went back in and the employees tried to charge me again for the ice cream that THEY FORGOT to put in my bag with the other one I had ordered. Mind you I had my receipt also that I was showing them. The employee had the manager come up to the front to decide if they should give me the ice cream they forgot to put in my bag...which was pointless and ridiculous.Need better training when it comes to things that happens on their end, smh!

Whenever Im back visiting my parents, I try to stop by Mitchells and get some ice cream.Covid-19: their stores arent open right now. Theyre doing curbside only. If you want pints, you can order and pay over the phone. If you want anything else, they take your order from your car when you pull up.We went all out and got three pints: Wildberry Crumble, Banana Cream Pie, and Lemon Black Raspberry Yogurt.Wildberry Crumble is probably my favorite ice cream flavor they have. I love the tart/sweet combo of the Lemon Black Raspberry Yogurt. The Banana Cream Pie was pretty good as well, but I wanted a stronger banana flavor (the marshmallow was awesome though).As someone who doesnt like chocolate, I wish they had a larger variety of non-chocolate flavors.If youre in Cleveland looking for good ice cream, find a Mitchells.

Very efficient during these COVID times. Easy ordering process with a very focused associate on the outside of the store. Order was filled quickly and product received even quicker. Wasn’t as busy so this made for a smooth transaction, but I’m sure they’d get the job done. The caramel fudge brownie pint full of brownies and caramel so I’ve had a great batch so far.

I think they are still working out the kinks of curbside delivery. The curbside ordering parking spots were jammed, as was the drive up line for ordering. Wait was kinda long, and the kids seemed to be having a hard time handling the Friday night rush. The side of the parking lot I was on was ignored for a while. But once they finally took my order, I received it pretty quickly. And, needless to say, the ice cream was outstanding. I highly recommend the coconut ice cream! Like the best coconut cake Ive ever had. And my husband was raving about his butter pecan hot fudge sundae. Well definitely be back. Just maybe not at 915pm on a Friday night!

This place has amazing icecream. They have a great variety of choices. During quarantine they stayed open and had great service still. I love to go to Mitchells after baseball games, it is very refreshing. We had this place recommended by one of our friends and we loved it. I recommend you to go too.

Good, tasty, quality ice cream. We got the coffee Sunday, chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone, a buckeye brownie, and a root beer float. Took off a star because the whip cream in the root beer float curdled when putting the soda in. Had to dump the top out to dig into the ice cream part which was good.

The service was excellent and the people there were very friendly. I ordered two triple scoops with hot fudge and sprinkles. I got mint chocolate, pumpkin, and blue cosmo. I was in shook like after finding my mint condition first edition Star Wars action figures. Or the feeling I had after building my lego Death Star.Best ice cream ever...

They are doing awesome job during the Pandemic time, however I dont understand why they discontinued providing individual packaged ice cream cone. I like to buy Pint size, and they used to give cones, but not anymore. Moreover they do not sell the quart size anymore, all they have a pint size. I wonder why?

Local hang out. Good prices. And good Ice cream. WOW (place smile here) Can’t go wrong. This shop is about unique flavors, good ingredients, and laid back atmosphere. The only place better is the one in Ohio City (lol). Love the flowers in the little glass vases on the tables, the wide open feeling with large sliding glass doors, the friendly employees, the chill customers who all have a smile on their face because hell their eating ice cream- like good ice cream. Try my Seasonal Favorite -Wild berry crumble and the smaller version of double scoop called “tasters duo”. That size with a topping is less than 6 bucks and good size.Can you say YUMMY- spoon drop😝.

Best ice cream ever!!!

We usually go for ice cream, which is always tasty. The interior is clean and nice. My kids love the train that goes around the track overhead. Sometimes they color too. Today we went for smoothies. I kind of thought smoothies were their healthy alternative, but they have sorbet in all of them. They are all delicious, but I dont think we consumed much less sugar if any by going that route.

Ice cream was great. They have a great system in place for car side delivery. You park and they come to your car and take your order along with credit card (only), make your order and deliver it to your car.

We used to love Mitchell’s however, it seems as though consistency is not priority. The double scoops often look under portioned and some of the flavors are becoming very plain. The peanut butter chocolate chunk rarely comes with the large chocolate chunks anymore. It has been disappointing, especially considering the price.

Ive gone to Mitchells locations since my childhood, and am always happy with their ice cream selection. They offer really sizeable portions at reasonable prices, and have a diverse selection that is bound to suit anyone.

Mitchells ice cream is wonderful. They use local, natural, delicious ingredients to make a seriously superior premium ice cream. They have vegan options, frozen yogurt and smoothies for the health conscious among us, but honestly splurge a bit theyve got rotating seasonal flavors that will blow your mind. Their waffle cones are also the best Ive ever had. Its a little more expensive but its worth it. Treat yourself!

I didnt think I could like any ice cream more than I like Honey Hut or Jennis, but the wide selection of consistently excellent, relatively traditional, homemade flavors is really whay sets Mitchells apart. From the 5-6 seasonal flavors to the dozens of regular ones, everything Ive tried there has been good.Honey but makes equally good ice cream, but it has far fewer flavors. Jennis has a wide variety of flavors, but most are far from traditional. While that makes Jennis a unique experience, I couldnt call Jennis consistently good because some of the risks they take dont pay off (others are unexpected home runs).In the end, Mitchells is the place you go if you want a consistently great ice cream experience and a variety of flavors.

Went in with half of our group being lactose intolerant and everyone was able to find something they really enjoyed, either in the sorbets or the vegan options. Keep the seasonal tiramisu flavor around!!

I rate it 3 stars based solely on my personal preference. Judging by how busy it was and how long the line was, I dare say I am the minority there. If like lots of flavor packed into every bit of ice cream (very sweet, even for ice cream), it is a place to go, for sure. Just be prepared to wait in a crowd on a warm day.
