Not about pricing although not surprised with everything going on... am I happy about it no but understand.I wanted to say that your employee Jenn, who I know is no longer there, sent the nicest note thanking me and also apologizing for all the mix ups and frankly, subpar experiences. I wanted to say that I really appreciate what she did and it made me sound heard and at least understood. We as contractors are at the mercy of your business for there is really no other options and at times its very frustrating when money and time is constantly lost due to something out of our control. It does put a bad taste in my mouth at times but what Jenn did was excellent and so much appreciated for a small business owner like me whos trying to make something of myself. Thank you.I also want to say what a great asset Bill is to your company. He has been such a strong and ethical employee who can make things right and calm a person down. I know I havent always been eloquent when loads go wrong and Bill has an understanding of that and knows that we are all trying to make a better tomorrow for ourselves. He is someone who should be recognized as well as the driver Poncho. Poncho cares and also tries to make things right. Hes always respectful and great with details and customer interaction.These people, I would hope, would be recognized and applauded for the work the do day in and day out. Ive been mulching my yard with Sagamore Silk Black for about 10 years and Im in love with the way it maintains its deep, rich color throughout the season. Also, a huge fan of the bed mix soil for my vegetable garden. So easy to work in, roots take hold quickly and plants thrive! And what can you say about same day delivery - the bomb!

When I called in Jen was so friendly and helped me figuring out how much mulch and top soil I needed to do my project. They even were able to deliver it the same day. I highly recommend you giving this company a call.

Mulch Madness! 5 yards of triple shredded black mulch, all mulch no nails, glass or other unwanted mixed in garbage. Delivery was prompt and the order process was simple. I dealt with Jen and think she should be nominated for employee of the month, get a bonus, and a company car.

The staff at Sagamore is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair and the quality of the material is very good. I think a few of these reviews are misleading as Ive been dealing with them for years and havent had any issues. Great company!

As I look at my yard on this crystal clear day I attribute the 20 years that Sagamore Soils has taken care of it with their products of mulch, landscape architectural design, patio,pavers and pit construction, fertilization programs along with some interior design work that promoted efficiency . Their personal are courteous, knowledgeable & efficient as well as if there is something they cant do they are able to refer to businesses that do. Also, if there is something that I have a concern with they address it and follow up, I am a very pleased that I can do business with a great local company and keep the business local.

If I could give them a 0 I would. The have done a horrible job!!! The rep will over promise the onwer will not honor the reps promises and you will spend a ton of time and energy trying to get the to do the job they promised just for them to blame the client!

I called for a quote and received a nice price. When I called back to schedule, they increased the price by $120! When I spoke to a manager, he was extremely rude and short stating that the girl I spoke to was new and misquoted me and went to $850+!!!! I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone! Either train your people correctly or honor your quotes! Thieves and Liars!!!

I have used Sagamore Soils over the past several years for mulch, topsoil, and sweet peet. They have always been very accomodating and easy to work with. I annually order about 15-20 yds of soils at a time. They have prompt delivery and their drivers are excellent at dumping the mulch neatly in the designated area. The quality of the product i have received from them is always of consistently high quality. i highly recommend them for any landscaping soils.

I’m a contractor who regularly goes to Sagamore for a var oof things the folks are always polite and they have never kept me waiting 25 minutes for a simple task like some other places.

I called for a quote today for 10 yds of topsoil (Spring mix). Was quoted $437 and change including tax and delivery. After ringing up order, the price came out to over $500. The service person apologized. I canceled my order after reading another review on this site where it had happened to another customer.

They tell me they cant get more than 10 yards of concrete on a truck but bill me for 13.5 yards from one truck. The second truck was also an hour later than scheduled. Not very trustworthy. Wont ever buy concrete from them again.
