I really enjoy coming to this store to buy anything I need for work. They have a great selection of quality items at good prices. Customer service is great!! The only thing I would like to see is a faster check out process. I been there several times and everytime we have to wait 25-30 min just to pay for merchandise. Other than that I would definitely recommend it to anyone πŸ‘Œ

First off, although the address is Esplanade, the street you see from front of store is Greenpoint drive. Clean store and helpful staff. Prices a bit high. Focus is police supply and uniforms. They sew and tailor on site. I thought the sign in at the front door would get me service, but it seems to be their way of building a mailing list.

Went in for a new vest. Ms. Renee was quick and helpful. Gathered about $100.00 if extra duty gear, stood at the front counter for over 20 minutes waiting to purchase. Lady (very sweet) that works desk in warehouse finally noticed me standing at the counter and called for a sales associate. Waited another 10 minutes, no one ever came to ring up my purchase... put the items back on shelves and left...

Had to pick up some uniform shirts.#1 they are taking precautions about covid-19 seriously, with social distancing, as touch-less as possible transactions etc. They check people in so they can be sure to wait on everyone in order, and are very helpful in helping you pick out the things you need. They even told me about a clearance on the kind of shirts I needed, though unfortunately the size I needed wasnt on clearance, otherwise it could have saved me like 60%. They had the patches sewn on in less than 10 minutes. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Phone seems to be left off the hook or is disconnected. It doesnt even ring when called, the call just disconnects. Maybe the phone number online needs to be updated or something because its a hassle having to go in person to have something addressed that could be handled over the phone.

Every time I come to ANY of the Galls located in Houston:1. You have to sign in and wait, they don’t bother to see if you have some small issue or one that requires you to wait.2. The help they have is minimal and move in SLOW MOTION. Except for the true workers here like seamstresses and etc.3. Minimum wait time at ANY TIME OF THE DAY 1 1/2 hours.4. By the time you do get helped they don’t have the size in the product you need. β€œOh, but we are more than happy to order for you.” And don’t forget that you WILL have to sign in and wait to pick up your order!There is NO customer service at this place, but they know most people will return. I don’t know why, my mind is made up to purchase nothing from this company online or otherwise!Thanks, maybe I’m up, 1 1/2 hours and still counting! And for those wondering, I am only here to have my sons’ name heat pressed on a shirt which had already been purchased and completed by this Galls location, but guess what letters fell off before first wash! I went into the store on 01/18 @ 4:58 and I was assisted by Ms. Lou. Even though the store was closing for the evening, she was very patient with me and went over in beyond in making sure I had everything I needed. I give us three stars because were not perfect. Ive been working for this company for over a year & I love it. I like hearing about what our customers do, for how long, & what they just encountered with the day/night before. This job isnt easy, you dont get it down in two weeks believe me. Just being employed a year I was/am still learning things to this day. I can admit the process was slow and computer system wasnt any help. But now becoming under the corporation of Galls I swear things are so much better, efficient, & the future for this company will finally get the appreciation it deserves.The work done here isnt machine work, its legit labor. Seamstress that work 7am to 7pm including weekends when asked.Also in any busy place you go you will have to wait. Do you not? The sign-in sheet makes it available for our customers to have a seat now & browse instead of standing the whole time in one spot and lets you know how fast were moving by time & who is left in front of you.

These five stars are going to Dave and Dave himself only. I wish I can just speak to his manager and say, β€œgive this man a raise.” My order was placed on Monday, Friday came up to pickup my order, and associates kept saying that it is somewhere in the back. I spoke with two associates before Dave spoke with me. He approached me with kind and worry if I was getting the customer service I needed. I explained to him what was going on. Dave ended up putting me as his priority to get me my order done. I was waiting for almost an hour, with Dave, he got my order done within 15 mins. Anyone needs help with their orders, speak to Dave. That man will help you out. Dave if you read this, don’t stop giving the best quality service to customers.

I cant imagine how this place stays in business. I waited over an hour just to drop a shirt off that needed to have the correct shoulder patches on it. They are the ones that put the wrong patches on the shirt in the first place. Glad my company is switching uniform distributors.

This place has been horrible. All of my uniforms had to be back ordered...which isnt the end of the world. I was told it would take a maximum of two weeks to get everything in. Well the two weeks came and went and I spent 3 days trying to call and no one answers the phone. I live over 70 miles away so I didnt want to waste a trip if it wasnt all there. Finally, my wife drove all the way over there to see if anything at all had came in. Thankfully, the one shirt I really needed was there but not my other two shirts. Good news right?...nope. The embroidered badge on my 511 polo is the wrong one and they mispelled Chaplain under my name. Now I have to drive over 70 miles back over there and hope they make it right. I would call but its pointless. When you try to leave a message for a return call the mailbox is full. This is extremely aggravating when you wait and wait for your uniforms and then they mess them up...

Lots of negative reviews so I figured Id share a positive experience. I recently came in for cadet uniforms and the service was great. Very fast, I signed in and was called in about 2 minutes. Tried on uniforms and they hemmed and tapered them for me. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I was in and out in about an hour. Keep in mind I was here when they opened at 9am along with about 4 others who were also in and out pretty quick like I was. Only complaint is the uniforms and equipment are pretty expensive but quality is nice. Thanks:)

I have worked at LoneStar Uniforms for about a year and a half now. I love it and it has IMPROVED since Galls has become our Parent company. We are a very very busy store because we help those who serve all over Texas, we do not service just a small amount of people and some people dont realize the volume of business we do. I work in the front and I do the best I can to service each and every one of the customers that walk in as fast I can, one customer can just be getting two shirts and I can take care of them in 5 min but then I can have a new hire with a brand new PO and they are getting at least 20 things, so yes it takes time and you will have to wait just like any other place that is busy. We are working hard each and everyday to improve the wait time on the arrival of garments and we are coming up with new ways to make you guys happy. I give us three stars because like I said we are still improving, and I know here shortly I can come back and give us 5.

Ordered uniforms on 6/3/2015. They finally come in on 8/8/2015. The name plate is misspelled, shirts are 2 sizes too big, the long sleeves that they claim they had to special order are normal length. I specifically ordered extra long sleeves, since I have long arms. The pants I ordered were supposed to be 36x36. Instead I get 46x32. After speaking with several people they still havent gotten my order right. They were paid in full on 6/3/2015. I will never buy anything from here again.

Wow this place is frustrating. I waited over an hour to pick up an ID badge & they never found it. Received a msg a couple days later it was ready. Went back.....STILL couldnt find it. Ugh!! Then I inquired about a shirt I wanted to see before ordering. They sell the shirt on an order form but no one there is familiar with it. For $70 I wanted to see how sizing runs prior to order since they have a no refund or exchange policy. Plus, why would I order if they have no knowledge of the shirt?!

I recently had my first experience with Galls (online and in store at the Beltway location) after having had to order 2 shirts for EMT school. My first impression was not very good seeing the number of dissatisfied customers so I went ahead and placed the order months out to ensure timely processing. About 2 weeks after I placed my order online I received an email stating my order was ready for pickup. On 7/10/18 I went to the beltway location as soon as they opened and anticipated a long wait while I was there. I was quickly assisted as soon as I walked in the door and there was no wait time. Unfortunately, the womens sized shirts that I ordered online were mens shirts at pickup and way too big to even be considered keeping. Im glad I looked at the order before I left the store. When I explained to the young lady working behind the counter that I believed the shirts were incorrect she quickly went to work to confirm that indeed there was a mistake and my EMT patches were sewn on the wrong shirts. She apologized and then quickly went to work to correct the error. She checked the store supply and confirmed availability of the correct womens shirts in my size and had the patches removed from the incorrect shirts and resewn on the correct shirts while I waited. I am very pleased with the service I received, the great conversation with a couple of the ladies while I waited and I wanted to make sure that their courtesy and hard work was documented. I removed one star for the order error but service received was definitely five stars.

Awesome Customer Service is not justifiably to explain how joyful my visit was due to the team. On January 17, 2019 Mrs. Nicole took her time with me. She allowed me to take up most of her time as I tried on everything. This experience was an eye opener for me that real customer service still exist. I thank God for these individuals. I visit the downtown location for gear for work, and have had both good and bad experiences. The good would be seamstress that took care of my uniforms on the spot. I cant say anything bad about them. Now for the bad. Since I recently hired on for my organization along with 52 others, we had to get uniform items for our first day. Considering that Lone Star has known we would be working, I figured they would have ordered enough uniform items for all of us. I was greatly mistaken. Situations like that should be easily avoided.

This place is the worst. We are a EMS agency with about 75+ uniformed staff. They never have anything in stock and it usually takes about 3 to 5 months to get pants or uniform shirts from them. We also use the website to order and they usually will lose an order or the web-site won’t even work. Lone -Star is great at making promises they cant live up too. I have always said that someone should start up a uniform business in the Houston area to compete with them. Lone Star Uniforms is the worst. Just ask an employee! I had one tell me after I said β€œYou guys could F*** up a wet dream” say β€œyeah we know we suck β€œ

Galls has ran the loan star franchise to the ground. I use to be able to walk in and get all the equipment I needed. Ever since they were bought out I can never get anything I need. Hell even the online ordering is bad . It took over 6 weeks to get yellow caution tape in the mail. My department will be looking for a new vendor.

This place is pretty much horrible. My company has a contract with them, and uses them, but we all hate this place. They come to our business and measure us for uniforms, then take the orders, but never ever call us to come get the uniforms. Last year, I ordered and waited for about 4 months to get the shipment in, then went down there. They said they didnt see my order in the computer. Then I got really irritable and held the guys feet to the fire, told him he needed to look at paper, the orders we made, and find the ones where we were measured and all that. After about a half hour of him screwing around, he found my order in the back, telling me he didnt know why it wasnt in the computer, but acted like it was MY fault for getting irritable at him. I told him Dont look at me like its MY fault, I waited FOUR MONTHS to get my issue. I have a right to be irritable.A month and a half ago I ordered wet weather gear, they had it on the shelf but it needed to be silk-screen stenciled with our logo. As soon as my supply guy told me that, I said well shoot, I wont see it for 6 months. I have stayed on our supply guys butt, every couple of weeks, he tells me Oh itll be in. Now I need it for the field, and no, of course it isnt in. OF COURSE. This place sucks. Avoid it at ALL costs. Try Cop Stop in Pearland. They are MUCH better, and prices are better too.

Don’t know what these other commenters are talking about when saying they wern’t helped or had to wait for a long time to be helped. I was helped and waited on as soon as I signed in and only had to wait for my alterations. Which are done on the spot while you wait. Where else can you get such quick service? Extremely slow, deadly slow if youre ordering something and paying with your company account. Some pants and boots are 2-4 months back ordered. I literally took a belt off the rack, walked up to pay for it, and was told I had to order it. A month and a half later, no belt still.They have a good selection, but nobody is in a hurry to get it to you. Some of the people are friendly, some not so much, but theyre definitely on their time frame.

Customer service at this location is rather pathetic! The system they are going by has never worked. I don’t care if you come to this location as soon as it opens you will be sitting in one of the β€œ6” chairs they supply for the 10-20 who’s waiting to be helped by what appears to be the β€œONLY” two employees working. (I personally think they are running a candy factory in the back.) It is extremely noticible that they are comfortable with the fact they have contracts because they’re not focused on face to face customer service. You’re better off spinning your own wool and making clothing, before you receive assistance. Please! I repeat, don’t even waste your time speaking with the manager, because somebody had to teach the employees how to treat customers. Management is at fault!!

I sent 2 uniform shirts and 2 pair of pants to get hemmed and embroidered. They told me it would be done in a week and they would call me. Ok no big deal, so I wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. After 2 weeks I try to call the Downtown location where I dropped them off and no one answers. I then stop by before work and they say they have not even started working on them. This goes on for several more weeks and still no phone call to say they are done. Finally after 6 weeks, I go by and finally they are done.I know they do a lot of LE uniforms if not all of them in the area, but talk about disorganized and lacking in customer service! If you have been to the shop you understand what Im talking about. I would give this place half a star if I could.

Horrible... Purchased boots last November.. still havent received them. I moved on. I have conducted business in the past with them through agency accounts and had to remove myself and agency as customers.. long waits, back orders, no contact from rep. and always incorrect orders/ lost orders. Just shut your doors already. Combining yourself with Galls only slowed the closing process down. Its inevidable.

Very disappointed in their service. I dropped off two uniform shirts over a month ago, just to sew on patches. I was advised that they had the patches, but needed them for a larger order (200+ uniform shirts). I have waited 4 weeks, and attempted to call them several times and couldnt get pass the answering machine. I finally, got through and was told that my order was closed out, now I am waiting for a return call to resolve this matter. If they cant keep up with their contract its time, we explore other companies.

I had to get a few things : the process is simple walk in - sign in on the tablet . Pick what you need to get done ie pick up, fittting, special order. Yes they carry higher end brands yes they are more pricy because of quality I feel bates is a good brand .I spoke with three individuals, the person who greeted me was also the one who fitted me, pick up window person, and cashier, everything went smoothly given that there were about 70 cadets getting the same stuff done . The process was organized long wait about 35 mins from start to finish for me .Yes others may have had a different experience but my experience was personally great.

First, it took 2 months to get a Hanes shirt back into stock so they could apply a screenprint. Said screenprint is of low enough quality that after one wash cycle it is already coming off.Second, I made the hour drive on Thursday to specifically buy a patch and have sewn on my class B shirt, as well as a few others on different items. I removed my class B from the plastic today to find that they had not sewn it on, as well as they therefore kept said patch I paid for. It is partly my fault for not checking the items before I left, however they clearly lack any type of quality assurance. *Check your items!*

Yes, they sell my uniform 511s, yes they do the hemming, but this place is stupid slow and also they sometimes cant even sell you their floor stock and they have very little on display compared to their online store. Id say they were understaffed but they move so slow although they are nice. Trust me, this is the norm, and i dont know why i still come here. Im gonna save my time from now on and go to academy and then pay someone to hem...please dont respond to my post and say sorry as if you dont know how slow you are; you know, just do something about it. My company had a purchase order with them at various times. They are so G.D. slow they take forever to get the items in from the North side of town. Dont be in no big hurry. You might get lucky and have a couple items in. Its bad and I almost felt like I was going to get fired a few times waiting for orders to come in for new employees. Look for an alternate before using these people. It would be quicker to grow cotton plants and sew everything yourself. If you think Im kidding, dont say I didnt warn you!

This email from Galls is dated February 10, 2019 for an order placed on November 19, 2018. Today is March 4, 2019.Not only am I STILL waiting for my order, no Customer Service Specialist has ever gotten back to me, as promised by Galls.3 1/2 months and still waiting.

If I can give zero stars I would. Working for a company who pays galls for our uniforms and let me make it clear. I am not a police officer, EMS, or fighter fighter. Not to discredit men and wemon who choose to protect and serve the public’s respectfully. But this place is not just for y’all. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, and I cannot believed that galls who currently bought out lone star would tolerate this nonsense. I pay my taxes, I was forced to come to galls and it was not by choice. I am so disappointed in this company knowing that my employer paid these guys and I have not received the proper service. And treated like I’m less then because I’m not apart of law enforcement. Witch by the way don’t carry large boots for those with big feet. They rather prefer us to order online. And just take what we get. NOT ME SIR!!!!! I LIKE TO TRY ON MY CLOTHES liKE THE COPS DO. AND TELL THE TAiLLER WHAT I NEED LIKE THE COPS DO.

My experience at Galls was pretty good even though it took me a minute to get my sizes correct. The staff was very accommodating especially one person in particular and her name was Saquoa. She was very patient, helpful, and friendly all while being professional. Kudos to the staff in all seriousness but Saquoa made my day. I hope I spelled her name right...

I would stay away from this place. Call customer service, no answer. Later on, call again and told to hold for 20 minutes. Was told by online service, order ready for pick up but they actually did when i went to pick up. Everything is on backorder. Damn.

Not even going to give them a one-star. I went in there Friday got there at 12:45 p.m. and got out of there at 4:30. It took 3 hours for anyone to even come talk to us once we have signed in. They told me my uniforms will be Monday afternoon. But my order is not ready. They sent me a text message on Tuesday afternoon let me know my order was ready for pickup but only 5 out of 7 items already. No one greeted me or anyone else when they walk in the door they will look at you with the owner and say hi that happened on Friday and it also happened today. After 1 hour waiting and employees helping customers that came in after me. An employee finally asked me what I was there for an hour and said I was waiting to pick up an order. I waited an average of about 5 hours to pick up 3 shirts 2 pairs of pants up belt and one tie.

As usual extremely slow. Cant understand who would give this place 5 stars unless they were employed there or were confused and rated the wrong business. Amazed they are in business every time I go there and wished someone else had our contract. Make sure you have plenty of time when you show up you will need it.

After waiting 1 1/2 hours just to drop shirts to have patches sewn on on Monday was told I could wait 20 minutes but since they made me late for another appointment I told them I would pick them up Wednesday morning arrived at 10:30 after looking for my shirt for 20 minutes Paige told me that they were still working on them. Now waiting over an hour still waiting. They waste more people time which are government employees which means tax payer money. Plus the sales staff is unfriendly and non carving. If you have anything to do with purchasing uniforms for youth department dont give this place our tat dollars.The good the didnt loose my order this time like the last two time.When Galls corporate going to do something about this?Follow up just left at 1205 pm.

Horrible. We walked in, no one welcomed us, no one acknowledged us! We waited over 30min just wanting to try on a pair of boots. Tried asking for them to get a size 10 but the sales rep said she was busy and she would be right with us next. The person she was helping asked for a size 11.5 boot, she walked right past me to the back, got his boots but couldnt grab mine, really? Then someone who came in after me was helped by another sales associate when we had been waiting. I came in for one thing, only one. No one even asked to help us or came to check on us. I am sure I can find better service ANYWHERE else. Incredibly unprofessional, will not be returning.

Okay I called on 5/21/15 at 1030am. I asked if they carry wallet badge holders. She tells me we dont carry badges, so corrected her asking for wallet badge holder. I asked her is there anyone in that department that can help me, I even told her the cut of the badge! There was no step above to help me at all, I mean didnt even say hey hold on let me see if I can find someone who can help you. Giving Galls a bad name when it comes to customer service.

Horrible horrible customer service! They are always out of stock. Will send you a texts that your order is ready and when you get there they cant find it! I bought a sweater for work and got all the way home and realized they forgot to put my work patch on there. Then when I went back I couldnt even get an apology! Smh who hired these people?

This place has the longest wait time ever. I dont know if there understaffed or just damn slow. Im begging my chief for him to change our account to Reds uniforms or even discount uniforms. The same lazy front desk girl with the attitude whos been working here for years is still here. I hate this place. Oh yeah for patches and embroidery its damn near two weeks.
