Margot Mitchell was an absolute delight to work with getting our couch reupholstered. The design process was painless and the attention to detail was phenomenal. Quick pickup and return of the reinvigorated furniture makes me certain I will return when next we need a new or custom piece of furniture. My sales consultant Sarah was professional, knowledgeable, and willing to do more than help me pick out furniture. She helped me select paint for my walls and gave me ideas to help decorate my whole house. She made me welcome, and she will be my forever consultant when I shop at Ethan Allen.

The customer service was great...until I placed the order. Everything was downhill after that. The furniture was delivered months after placing the order, and there was very poor communication about the delivery date. Months passed, and I would have to constantly call the store repeatedly with poor follow-up. After the furniture finally did arrive, I had some concerns and it was very very difficult to get someone to come out and give an assessment. Once he finally did come, there was no follow-up about the damage on the product. Overall, I like the furniture itself but the communication and service was absolutely awful. Definitely would not recommend.

The assistance and support that Christina gave us in the selection of our furnishings was just awesome! She successfully bridged the difference between my retired engineer‘s view of furniture and my wife’s eye for decoration with comments and suggestions that left us feeling that this was our best experience ever.

She expertly incorporated our existing decor and designed custom seating that reflected our taste. Sarah was a pleasure to work with!We’ve been in the market for a new sofa and loveseat and I kept being drawn to an Ethan Allen set online. I tried several sets elsewhere but never found the comfort and durability I was looking for.I wanted something with a decent to good warranty for the frame and cushions. And something with a weight limit to support the whole family piling on the couch. No one else has a similar warranty for cushions or frame.Finally went to the store with the intention to see and feel fabrics in person since I was looking for performance (read kid proof) fabric, but also didn’t want our set to feel scratchy.My intention was to get a few color swatches and make sure the sofa set was comfortable to sit on.Sarah was quick to introduce herself and see if we needed help, and then gave us all the time we needed to look around and see what we liked. She didn’t hover, didn’t pressure, but was accessible when we had questions. Once we decided on the set we like I asked her about fabrics. She helped me find a fabric better than I imagined: performance, easily cleanable, SUPER soft, and my dream color.I hadn’t intended to buy the same day, but was so pleased at finding what I wanted I went ahead and did so, but again, with NO PRESSURE from her to do so.The whole experience was great and I highly recommend Sarah and Ethan Allen.

It was our luckiest day ever when we went to Ethan Allen to purchase couches for our living room because we met Dayna! She is so friendly and full of personality! We were a little overwhelmed when we walked through the the store because there are so many choices, but Dayna came to our rescue! She is extremely knowledgeable and helped us to choose the perfect couch, loveseat, and ottoman for our home. We showed her pictures of our carpet and paint, and she picked a beautiful and comfy fabric with perfect accent pillows. We are so pleased with our new living room couches. We always choose Ethan Allen when we buy furniture for our home because we want the best!

I really enjoyed the Ethan Allen experience! They have beautiful pieces and a wide range of fabrics. Im such a visual person and their 3D model helped me to see my space before having to make big purchases. My designer Christina was super accommodating and always willing to make any and all changes! Shes patient, helpful and smart. She cane to our home and took measurements.She helped make this experience a really good one. Ive already recommended her to others and I cant wait to do another room with her someday!

After completing a preliminary search on the Ethan Allen site for new living room furniture we scheduled an appointment for an in store (Uptown Park/Houston location) consultation with Margot. When we arrived Margot was professional, well versed on our preliminary choices, prepared with examples of fabrics & finishes. Additionally, Margot anticipated additional needs with fabric samples for pillows and suggestions on how we could enhance our choices. I should mention that Margot kept us on budget and was an absolute delight to work with. We cant wait for our new furniture to arrive. Thank you!

I went to Uptown Sushi the other day and I didnt realize they opened at noon so I had some time to kill and was browsing Ethan Allen next door. From the time I walked in to the time I left we walked by several sales associates and not one person said hello, smiled, or offered assistance. Ill be honest as I was leaving I very loudly said I love how helpful everyone was here. VERY SARCASTICLY the young lady sitting at the desk at the front then pointed to us while talking to who I assume is the manager and laughed. I dont know what was said but I know that I will never ever be buying one item from this store and I will probably go out of my way to make sure no one in my family does as well.

My wife and I love the quality, finish, and character of furniture manufactured by Ethan Allen. It is our go-to place when we want to furnish our home.We are happy to work with Evarist McConnell. She is a fantastic designer. Initially, she took her time to understand our tastes, likes, and dislikes. Then, she helped us furnish our formal dining room ground-up. We were very specific about each piece that we bought and sometimes had to wait for new arrivals. Evarist was patient throughout the process.Evarist helped us with the drapes in the living room, formal dining, and informal dining. We loved how she picked out the colors from the living room rug, gave us options for the drapes, and gave the entire area a cohesive look. She was there for the whole duration the drapes were installed and ensured that we were 100% satisfied. She also helped us pick out several accents for the living and formal dining. Currently, she is helping us with our home office.Evarist is very easy to work with, and if you are looking for someone who would think out of the box and come up with new design ideas, she is the go-to person.

Over the years I have purchased many items from Ethan Allen. To prepare for the Spring semester and working from home, I purchased a chair and desk from Ethan Allen in November. The chair arrived a couple of weeks ago, but I still have not received the desk. Every time I call and ask about the desk I purchased, the date for delivery is moved back. This is impacting my work and I am very disappointed.

Margo is the best! She is a great listener and really knows her product giving you comfort in your selections.

I was so lucky to get Shay from The Galleria area in Houston to help me choose furniture for my living room. I am so thrilled how beautiful the custom pieces are. He helped me choose furniture to match my very colorful area rug. Ethan Allen furniture is well made and I know will last for a long time!

Sarah was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is very good at figuring out the clients taste and pulling a room together with diffrent textures and fabrics. So excited to get my furniture. You do have to wait because each piece is custom made for each client. Wonderful experience.

Ken, our designer, was super helpful and not at all pushy. He understood that before purchasing our bedroom set we needed to make sure we LOVED it...so he wrote down all our info, we went shopping around to multiple other furniture stores, and ultimately came back for the pieces we picked out with him. He made the process so easy!

Excellent rating for Gary (from Modesto) who came to our house to fix the chair; Very good rating for Pia, our Design Consultant, who helped us with our purchase. NEED IMPROVEMENT for the scheduling team. The automated call notifying shipment does not leave message if unanswered, therefore therere no way for you to call back. Leaving you up in the air as to when your order will come unless you initiate the call to follow up.

This is the worst Ethan Allen store. I have given themLots of business... the last sofa delivered was a mess. It showed up with flat back cushions & throw pillows that hav what’s sticky spots. The sofa looks 5 years old.No customer service. It was denied straight out of the gate and not one rep came to look at it. No calls were returned from customer service. Numerous attempts and nothing. They absolutely do not care.I worked there years ago and have tried to continue to support the designers there... unfortunately the owners and management office- including customer service do not support or back up their staff...Ethan Allen has great products. I highly recommend going to a different store. This is NOT a corporate store.Go to a corporate store for more professional service.

I purchased the Oxford Sofa through the San Jose/Saratoga Ethan Allen store. It was the **BEST EXPERIENCE**. Our designer was Cindy Fukuda. She was EXCEPTIONAL. She had all the answers. She was so patient as I have difficulty making decisions; color choices: what color casters, what color sofa legs, whether or not I wanted leather or material, what color for the body of the sofa, how to clean leather, what size considering room space, the type of seating cushion choices. She of course knew all the dimensions of the sofa and took me immediately to the floor sample which had just come in. When I came back to order the sofa after considering all my choices, it was so easy, thanks to her knowledge. The delivery staff was also, very professional and you could tell took pride in their work. Everyone who has seen my new sofa LOVE IT. Cindy actually made the experience FUN. I will definitely return.......Thanks, ETHAN ALLEN for having such exceptional staff.

I have Ethan Allen furniture in every room of my house and up until now was very happy with them. After 20 years, it was time to redo my rooms so naturally I went back to them. Im sad to say that my experience this time around was not favorable. I made 5 attempts to reach the owner/manager, and none of my calls were ever returned. I was told that the owners are only in a couple of hours a day. I called the corporate offices and they contacted the store in an attempt to encourage them to work with me to resolve the problem. Once again, I was dismissed. There are many other furniture stores to buy your furnishings in, and I would encourage you to look elsewhere. Ethan Allen in Saratoga has clearly forgotten about customer service. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I find the quality to be pretty good on most items still. SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!!

I purchased a chandelier from the store and having difficulty to find a reasonable electrician to install on our high ceiling. I called the store to ask for referral. The guy was not helpful at all and very rude. Told me to use yelp to find myself. So dont buy chandelier from EA if you have high ceiling.

I haven’t been in Ethan Allen’s since I was a child, I was initially excited to be back to purchase two full size beds for my twins 17th birthday. I purchased them in eatly March and waited 4 months for construction and delivery. I won’t go into detail about the rude treatment I received from their business office but instead will jump to delivery day. I, full of excitement, opened the door to greet the delivery man to only learn he had only one bed, after a call into the warehouse the other bed was nowhere to be found. Disappointed I ushered him in to set up the bed, I was shocked to see many areas on the headboard had split wood, as I started to take photos of the poor workmanship, the delivery man took his fingernail and scraped the wood, leaving a physical gouge in the wood. After speaking with Richard and business office, they termed the issues with my headboard as blemishes and cosmetic issues only. These two beds were close to 5K and the quality of the beds does not match the price. Richard was very clear that they were not going to remake the beds and that the issues with my beds should have been fixed at the factory, he then wanted to know when I wanted delivery. U reach out to their corporate office and they are useless, they push you back to the store and you are back dealing with the Richard, the owner, that has zero integrity. I’m still waiting to hear back from the San Jose store, I know I can easily request my bank to place my money back into my account but that’s not the issue, we ordered beds and assumed we would receive what we paid for. Please save yourself the grief and shop somewhere else, walking into an empty store should have been a clue!!Ethan Allen is not the store it use to be, too bad!

You pay dearly for Ethan Allen furniture. However, the company does not stand behind its product. The cabinet doors to our china cabinet do not stay in track, and Ethan Allen does not provide a repairman when this should not occur. We paid for style and quality. Ethan Allen is over rated with its poor quality furniture and lack service to back up its product.

I had purchased a white chair and had a custom slipcover made. The chair itself was beautiful, however, it wasnt until a year later that I had discovered that the original cushions did not match the chair. I did make a cursory check to see if it was the chair I had purchased.Very poor work ethics.

Beware of extremely long deliveries (8-9 wks) that get pushed back another 4-8 wks because of their mistakes. Finger pointing is what youll see them do to each other.
