Great experience! I dropped by without an appointment because I had busted one of my tires while running errands. Andre was the person who assisted me and he was kind, professional, and very attentive! Dealing with car troubles is never fun, but when I can depend on the staff at Discount I dont worry at all :)

Went to this location to get my tire patched because there was a nail in it.Not only did they mess up my wheel lock key which cost me $50 to get a new one, they also removed the nail from the tire and then proceeded to tell me they can’t fix it.How am I suppose to drive my car after you remove the nail from the tire? The thing can’t even hold pressure anymore!

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! The professionalism is very poor and the location is very unorganized! The team lead Ralph and his worker Ubalde display very poor customer service and time management skills as they will indeed waste your time. I wish that I can leave zero stars

This location was great! The young man that helped me at the air check made my morning more enjoyable. He smiled, offered a warm greeting and had me in and out quickly. I wish I hadnt been in a rush to get multiple vehicles serviced, I forgot to get his name.

From the moment I drove in and was greeted by the attendant, my experience only got better. Wait was short and was soon welcomed by Felix who looked over my car, and took the tire measurements. Felix was attentive, courteous, and very knowledgeable about what recommendations he felt were best for our vehicle. I am a repeat Discount Tire customer for this very reason. Don’t mind paying for a quality service and buying experience. It was excellent. Felix you represent the Discount Tire brand well. Good job, and many thanks for taking care of me.

I left my tire and wheel at this location over a week ago for a tire replacement. I was never notified that my tires was ready after a couple days, so I contacted them to see what was up. They said that the tire had to be order. No big deal, but communication would be nice. Fast forward to a week later and I still haven’t heard from them. Yesterday, I called again and the staff member on the phone didn’t know what I am talking about and could find any record of my service. After about 10 minutes of frustrating conversation explaining that they have had my wheel for a week and that I for sure took it to this location, the man found my record and assured me that the new tire was coming on the following day. I called today to make sure that it had arrived before I made an appointment to pick it up and have my tires rotated. Again, the staff on the phone could not find my record and had to go ask around the shop to find my wheel and make sure the tire had arrived. Thankfully, it is ready for pick up, but this location is so disorganized. Next time, I will just go to a different location and save myself the headache.

Worst customer service ever, i told the guy about the text received that its ready to pick up instead he say they will bring it outside kinda like everyone else but after waiting extra 25 mins the other dude let me know that i gotta check with the dude in red tent, no one even called the name. I guess they just pick and choose who they want to service. Total time spent was 3 hours at this garbage tire shop. Went outside to find out that red tent guy hs the keys.

Great experience. Set up the online appointment and prepaid. Easy process. Checked in a few minutes before my appointment time and chilled in the waiting area. I was maybe there for 20 minutes tops for the one tire getting replaced. Fast and easy.I strongly encourage people to make the appointment. One guest was irate that she had to wait, as appointments have priority. Despite this, the Staff was very professional and accommodating.Also, booking online almost guarantees that youll have the right tire in stock for your vehicle. Mine was an odd size, so thats what I had to do. Glad I did it though.

I called two weeks ago to request for specific Michelin tires to be sent to the shop. The order was placed by the clerk on a Friday and I scheduled my appointment for the following Monday as suggested by the sales person. I left work early to make it to my appointment only to find out that they didn’t have the tires. No one called to inform me of this. So I missed out on money I could’ve made by completing my work shift, fought through the afternoon galleria traffic and I still don’t have the tires. I called today...nearly two weeks later and the tires still have not arrived.This is unprofessional and inconsiderate of potential customers’ times. Not sure if I’ll even bother to go here as it appears to be unorganized.

He took the time to answer all my questions to help me and gave me quotes based on my driving patterns and needs - he also helped me minimize my wait time. Extremely happy with their service, Ill be returning for all future tire related needs.

Jennifer Ventura helped me today and she was very quick and efficient, not just with me but with everyone at the tire shop. She was greeting everyone as they were walking in while attentively coordinating the entire lobby. The lobby was full.I needed a 20inch pilot sport 4s tire for my 08 cl63 and she told me her store is the fastest one that can get one since it was nearby the warehouse. I called in the afternoon around 5pm the tire arrived at 10am the next day. Might I add this specific tire is very hard to find. I called the location near my house and all I got is a “no, we don’t have it in stock” she approached it better, She is a hero!

I had called ahead for a set of tires and they let me know they were busy and it might take a while, but I needed them, so went in anyway. Got there and they were PACKED so I was expecting quite a lengthy wait. All four tires replaced in about 30 minutes from the time I arrived. I was quite surprised at the turnaround time. Staff were friendly on the phone and in person and seemed to have quite an efficient process going.

Extremely busy. Well organized. Within 45 minutes the screw was removed and I was on my way...all for free. EZ to set up an appt on line. Their app informs you of where your car is at all times. 1st class service.

Great experience! First time needing to buy new tires. Nathan was extremely helpful, listened to my driving habits/tire needs, provided options in my price point, and wasn’t overly pushy just to make the sale. I appreciate that new tire purchase at Discount includes lifetime free air checks, rotations, and flat tire repair.-Covid side note: Employees were wearing masks correctly indoors and chairs in waiting room were physically distanced. I was offered a hand wipe and sanitizer after my purchase.

I love Discount Tire! Theyve fixed 1 flat and replaced 1 tire for me in the last 3 months at no charge by honoring their warranty without me having to ask. Anyone can stop by for a free tire pressure check without getting out of their car. This might seem like pure PR, but Ive stopped by other places that offer that service and no one could even find the person who supposed to be attending to that duty. (That job looks like no fun and thankless. So I always tip the attendant for that!) They have the most hard-working team! I appreciate their honesty and courtesy. It says a lot about their corporate ethic.

Pros:- They have tires.Cons:- They scratched my car (see pics). How do I know it was them? Because I got the TPMS light before coming in, and I looked at all my tires. I wouldve seen these gashes when I was pumping my tires with air. It was so noticeable that I caught it within the first hour of leaving my appointment. What are the odds that someone else messed with the paint above my tires?- They told me they had my tires and I should come at 10am. Once there, I waited 40mins before asking why my car hasnt been worked on yet. They told me someone was going to get the other 2 tires. OK, so (1) thanks for lying about what is in stock and (2) thanks for saying I should arrive earlier than you can acquire these tires.You can get the tires for the same prices at multiple places. Pick one with better service. I will not be coming back.

The location is usually always busy, I reccomend making reservations first. Get the road hazard plan for your tires. Its well worth it in the end. It cost only $22 per tire compared to usually over $125 to replace a tire on average. Disclamer I dont work for Discount, not have any interest. Just helpful tips to help people out.

The worst experience ever! I came in to replace all 4 of my tires and during my service. The tell me they broke two of my lugs. The associate tell me they arent able to fix what they broke and refers me to a shop in the area. He replace the lung but doesnt have the screw for the lug and I have to go back to discount tire.I return and get completely ignore for 30 mins for a 2 min service. Finally I leave and my car is making noise and shaking!!!! I call the mechanic that discount tire referred me to he checks it out and said. Theres some type of object INSIDE your tire that Discount Tire left inside. So Im back at discount tire 30 minutes into my hour appointment while my car sits in the parking lot. And two car bays were open!The only part of this experience that was smooth was when they took my money.Attached is the sensor that discount tire broke that was rolling around inside my tire.

Will is a great guy to deal with and has always taken care of my truck and my wife’s car. They match prices every time and they do clean work.

These guys are really service-oriented. Go there regularly for free air/tire check. Last time, they spotted what looked like a nail. They inspected and it was just the head of a screw, no repair needed -- and no repair conjured up by them either! Trust.

Brought in my car for an appointment at 11:15AM - 2 hours and 3 minutes later, my car is still not taken into the service bay. Employee initially stated that my car was serviced and ready to take home, but my car was not even moved from my original parking spot. This was an obvious sign of lack of communication and coordination amongst employees, yet I am the one paying the price. Employees reason that they had me at the top of their list, but unfortunately due to another 11:15AM appointment arriving at the time slot, there appears to have been a mix-up. This location does not value the time of their customers at all, in my experience. I’d expect better service if I’m shelling out over $800. Nobody even attempted to check up on me either. One employee suggested I just go grab lunch as a result of my additional wait time. Never returning to this location again.

The service is so slow though I was dealing with turtles employees most of the time just walk around and talk to much left my car for 4:30 and when I came back wasnt ready the only excuse one employee did was they were so busy think management need to put more pressure to this employee location I dont recommend to come here go to the one in stela link they are more fast and courteous.

Bought four new tires here a month ago, and went to change my brake pads and noticed Discount Tire didn’t put one of the lugs nuts back on. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND POOR QUALITY CONTROL. I am very disappointed that such a big company has poor quality control measures in place to prevent things like this from happening. I don’t blame the mechanic who didn’t it, I blame the location’s managers. It all starts at the top.Not to mention the guy helping us had a “chin strap” on for a mask. Why wear a mask if you are not going to wear it correctly? That also starts at the top. No accountability from this location’s management. I don’t recommend going here.

Staff are super helpful and patient and always do amazing work on my car. I never wait too long even though they can be so busy, so I am always happy.

I stopped here on Saturday a week ago and the nicest most helpful gentleman helped me with my tire pressure. Manager Matt, I think his name was Jose but please ask around as he will remember me! This Discount Tire (and DJ and Alex who work there) is amazing! Really! Don’t bother with Costco or a car dealer. Good prices and GREAT service. Got my issue fixed quickly and made were very professional and informative. And the crazy thing was, they were somehow managing to do this for the 10-15 other people waiting on service with me. Really great team.

I got a full set of really nice tires here at a fair price. I enjoy going to places that specialize in something, because then you get that peace of mind from having an expert working on your particular issue.My advice would be to ALWAYS make an appointment; if you cannot, it might be better to go elsewhere if theyre busy. Call ahead and be smart about timing by picking less-busy slots during the day (unless an emergency, of course). This isnt a knock on the quality of customer service or repair at this location, as both are phenomenal. But when I needed a simple procedure (nail removed and tire plugged) a week ago, the wait time was a whopping 5 hours. I took it to a local mechanic and had it done in 10 minutes flat, no wait.

Friendly and good customer service. Came in with a nail in my tire and they got it fixed up. They found another little problem and they fix it for free as well. its funny if you get there early before they open you can see all the staff lined up getting their morning pep talk.

These youngsters work hard and continuous...They exhibit a customer service ethic that I thought was extinct in todays society. This location is the best compared to other Discount Tire locations where a 2 hour wait is normal. I waited 30 minutes.

Don’t come here. The first rep told me the wait time would be 2hrs....it’s now 2hrs later and my car still hadn’t been looked at. When I asked them, they now claim the wait time is 4 hours. None of the people in the store are the same as when I arrived. How in the world does it take 4 hours to change a single tire?!?! Bad customer service, long wait times for no reason. Save your time and sanity and go somewhere else.:Update:First guy told me 2hrs, second guy told me the wait time has been 4 hours all day, and third guy claimed it’s due to a delay, still waiting and no explanation.

Horrible customer service and communication. Ive been waiting since 8:30a for a tire change. Currently in the lobby still waiting (almost 12p) and my car is still in the same spot from when I first parked. I specifically called prior to coming to inquire on wait time. I was told 2 hours and when I asked if it would be faster to go to another location I was told no. Clearly that was no where near accurate. Ive also spoken with staff to get an update on time and was told appointments have arrived so my service was pushed back. I will never come back to this discount location ever and wouldnt recommend anyone else to either.

I call to get a total price for a new set of tires(230ea-tire only)...cannot remember the gentleman who answered but shout out to him, when I asked him to hold on & let me checkout this one website(it was not cheaper). He price shopped right there with me. Found what I couldnt. Got the OTD price to $830....like $300 in savings. Puts me in line long before I could get there......but wait....theres more...I prepay the gentleman Byron when I get there who remembers me from 2 months back, helping me with a flat and saying I was going to order new tires(I forgot)....after only a decent wait time they are only able to to get 1 wheel lock off, stripped key in process...couldnt even be mad because genuine care and embarrassment was right there on Byrons face. I come back the next day after getting the lock situation handled ($100) and he refunds me enough to cover that, the price difference from another establishment (unadvertised) and gas for having to waste an entire day driving around Houston. Thanks you guys rule!

Their tire pressure check service is organized and fast. I go to them for all tire-related needs. Yesterday there was a line and the last 4 cars backed up to let the FedEx truck out. Big smiles and waves. Happy holidays!

My baby just got 2 brand new tires. Jose was great, he made me new pot of coffee since it was out. They was very busy and since I didn’t have appointment, mine took about 1:30, fair enough better than 2:00. With appointment, last time it took about 40’. Very reasonable and honest, if they can patch it, they will do it for free, doesn’t matter where you got your tires. Warranty is Recommended, always bought for all my tires and for Acura MDX, mine aren’t cheap at all. Last time I ran over the curb and my right front tire was gone, free towing service from AAA and paid less than $15 for a new tire since I bought the warranty for it, in and out in 30’. My go to place for tires.

Great service. Very quick. Trustworthy team. I came in for one tire, wasnt excited to have to buy four, but they made the experience bearable and explained everything along the way.

I have been going to discount tire for about 7 years. Always very happy. I am still happy, but today was different. 1. An employee was shouting angrily in the vehicle bay. No clue what it was about. 2. When my vehicle was ready someone brought my key to me and said I could pull my car out unless I wanted them to do it. Ive never been told this before. They have always pulled my car to the front. I saw them pulling everyone elses car to the front door today. Not sure why they brought my key to me. Since I was working and had to out away my laptop and gather my things, I asked that they pull my car to the front and they did. So, nothing bad, just odd in my experiences with Discount Tire. Ill keep going back!

Check tire and told me the problem. It will take 3-4 hr before getting a nail out of tire, and was told to go on line and get an appointment for Monday. I was disappointed. Im my from here. In my home town it would be at least 5 minutes. Wow wow.

Been to several Discount Tire locations but this one has the worst customer service and lack of communication. Came to visit in attention to replace a flat tire but had to leave because was waiting for a while in front of their representative and NEVER been asked or helped. No one seems to care for their customers.

Horrible service and location. It took them three years to get a tire. First, we paid for it. They didnt have it in stock. Second, the appointments take longer than they say. You wait for hours to get service. Lastly, the people are unprofessional. They blamed me for the mistake. Tried to make me pay for a another tire, claimed I gave them the wrong phone number and claimed I needed to find the receipt. Finally they realized they took down the wrong number and were able to find the transaction. No apology for wasting my time, instead they tried to sale me another tire. LOL. Last time Im ever going here. All my money will go to NTB or anyone else. Brian the manager was great with difusing the situation and finding a solution eventually, but the sales associate sitting down in my picture was the one I had a horrible experience with. He does not belong in retail or service industry at all. Two stars strictly for the great manager, but he has to train his associates better.

Always friendly staff. They give honest time frames for your wait. Generally busy, I can only assume because of the awesome staff and quality tires offered. I will continue to go here whenever needed.

Dont show up as a walk in on Saturday morning after nine! They told me an hour and a half, that was two hours ago and I still have at least another hour to wait. Either have an appointment or drop your car off!

Had a slow leak in a tire because I ran over a screw, came here to get it patched (couldnt plug it myself because of the sound-dampening foam liner inside). Fast and effective service, and the repair was on the house.Would highly recommend.

Despite the fact that it located in a busy area and they have super long lines to check tire pressure and things like that, the guys did an excellent job and got people in and out as fast as they could. I really never have complains about any discount location. Very professional and attentive.

Excellent customer service is readily on display at Discount Tire Houston SW Frwy. Tire/wheel problems are already hectic, but Matt Souder and Jake Haldiman made the experience as easy as possible, and the entire team had great attitudes...hard to find, these days. Their excellent, efficient and effective service is greatly appreciated.

Pulled up to get one tire aired up(just a few #s low”while holding a umbrella....The man told me he couldn’t air it up because it was sprinkling rain & told me to check in with the front desk to do so. I go to the front & he says it’s a 3hr wait for them to pull my car under the building & air up one tire!

There is no better location in the city! You may wait a while.....but honestly thats to be expected at this store!!! These guys are very thorough and detail oriented, crack rams, theyre going to tell you about it, bent rims, they will tell you about it, bad TPMS sensors, you will know about it! They dont just put a tire on and send you on your way, nope its not going to happen😇. 🤔unless you tell them thats all you want! If theres any issues that you need to be aware of, they will tell you, which is extremely important on the roads here in Houston. Because the last thing we want is to be stranded in rush hour traffic on I10, 69/59, 610 or I45.Oh and if they say its a 2 hour wait, trust me it is! But usually not much more unless its an issue out of their control. As always an awesome experience for me and hell yes you get what you pay for here! The Discount Tire Guys . . Well they know tires!😁

Lucky that I even gave a star rating. Me and my husband brought in my car 2 weeks ago since I got a nail in my tires which they claimed was ‘fixed’. After a couple of days I thought it was fixed, then noticed that it kept loosing pressure. Brought my car to Firestone, and the tech told us, your tire was never fixed, nail was still there. WHERE ARE THEIR CONSCIENCE?! SHAME ON YOU!

...I stpped for tire-pressure check, it took an HOUR & 11 MIN while only 3 cars ahead of me, it seem each car was over 25 min, just to check and correct tire pressure...., some.....get paid for, ohh well!!!

2 hours and counting to fix a tire on warranty but when you come and ask to buy 4 new tires for $600 they mount, rotate and balance them in 20min. Like people dont have anything else to do.
