** Caveat, I am writing this review 2 ½ years after Northwest Houston Auto Windshield Repair fixed my window.I found this business via a Google search and brought a 2005 F150 into the shop with a leaky sliding rear window. Every time it was parked in the rain the window leaked from multiple areas around it that ended up saturating my interior carpet. The water would be trapped beneath the rubber floor mates and wet carpet and started to stink up the cab. After speaking to Jim about the leak we determined that the best course of action was to replace it with a solid single panel window (I dont recall the exact terminology he used). Unfortunately I didnt clearly communicate the whereabouts of the leak which resulted in a minor delay in the repair process. Overall the window was replaced in good time. Jim and his crew were very hospitable and addressed my questions and concerns throughout the process. Jim is an attentive business owner who values his customers as well as the reputation of his business and staff. This was my impression while I was in the shop and it has been a lasting impression over the years. I can honestly say that after close to 3 years I havent had to worry about a leaky rear window and the window still looks great and matches the tint on my other windows. Looking at it youd never know that it was a replacement window. This shop has earned my trust with good customer service, quality work, and quality materials that have held up over the years all for an affordable price. The outstanding customer service is what you are greeted with, the timeliness of the repair. This shop made me not mind paying for the repair. They have now become my go-to shop for all my mechanical needs.

Jim told me to come pick up my car by the end of the business day. I asked if I could pick it up the next morning, but before I could he call to tell me that I would have to tow my car from his shop, and to pay him $386.88. When asked why, he first said for parts and labor, when I asked for the receipt and warranty for the part (main censor), Jim, said he would not give them to me. Which then I said that I would come with with police and a lawsuit. When I and Officer Escobedo and Officer Aroiza arrived at Northwest Houston auto glass Jim, began to get loud saying that my car would stay where I was at and that I would still not be getting any proof of the work he said that he did, but I will pay him as he has a conceal carry license. Which at that the Officers and I left as now I will have to report him to the BBT and file a auto civil suit to get my car back, and all this came from me asking Jim and Northwest Houston auto glass for a receipt. So if you take your car there DO NOT QUESTION Jim, or ask for a receipt. Thank you for your time reading my post.

Rude owner and with attitude, gave me a lot of stress waiting 2 additional hrs of what I was initially told.Found out that I could have saved $150 if going to my regular windshield repair shop. I would not recommend this place for windshield repairs

Was told to bring in and they would take a look at it. upon arrival I was told that they did not sell the parts I would have to buy a whole window unit& that that they no longer sold d repair parts. Within 10 minutes of returning home I found the parts available at a General Motors distributorship dealership local and on eBay!!!! dont lie to me just tell me the jobs too small and you dont want to mess with it. Never ever waste my time with them again.

They got me fixed up quickly and efficiently! Will be back if my vehicle needs anything!

Jim and his team are wonderful. I came in originally to have a window replaced due to a break in but opened up a can of worms in getting my state inspection and oil change done as well. There was a lot more to be done on my car then expected and of course made it a lot more expensive but Jim called and texted me at every step in the process to talk to me about what he saw and the best steps. Highly recommend, they care about their customers!

I needed a window replaced in my car due to a break in this morning and my wife found this repair shop close to our neighborhood. When I called them, they gave me an estimate that was much better than my insurance company was prepared to offer so I gave them a try.A few hours after I dropped off the car, they called me to say it was ready for pickup and when I did - I realized that they had cleaned up the shattered glass that was still all over the car. I felt that this was way beyond what I had expected them to do.These people are friendly, they kept to their estimated price and if youre looking for a neighborhood repair shop that will offer personal care rather than treating you like a number - check them out!

I came here only to replace my windshield which they did and the owner Jim was very friendly. They also noticed I had a sensor out on my car i drive a mercedes I was surprised by how cheap and quick it was. Mercedes wanted 3x more for the sensor that was replaced. I was very happy with how everything turned out. I will definitely be back. Thanks Jim!!

I had a big crack in my windshield, and they fixed it for $50.00. The service was quick and professional. No complaints here.

I regret coming here based on the prior reviews. I went back to this location 3 times for them to try and make it right. That’s 6 hours driving and 8 hours waiting, only to be told “I’m not putting another nickel into this car” by the owner. In the end, they kept Scratching more paint with each visit, Mangled and Slashed the bottom gasket, installed an airgap in the top gasket that sounds like a hurricane when I drive, and left garbage on my dash. I was handed touch-up paint for my trouble. I did talk to Jim about taking this to get fixed elsewhere at his cost, and he refused the idea.Stay away from this place if you value the appearance of your car, because they dont. Ive posted 6 photos of their work. The neglect in these pictures reflects their product.Update.Jim called me like an unaccountable child. He blamed me for everything, cursed me out, never let me talk, then fabricated his facts below. He even threatened me twice prior to hanging up on me. Not very proffesional.Here is how it went down Jim (as you wouldnt let me talk on the phone). You guys screwed up the first time (broken clips, large gaps, and a few chips of paint). You told me to come back. I came back we agreed to seal the upper window and you said it wouldnt look too bad. It looked terrible (Caulk on hood, more scratches). I came back a third time, you broke the glass fixing the terrible trim, more scratches, garbage on my dash, and the results are in the photos below. I didnt scratch or break any of it. This is your craftsmanship.If an FJ cruiser is outside of your comfort zone, man up and say so before ruining mine. Dont call me like a child with a skewed reality of how I made the problems, dont lie on the review board, and you should think twice of threatening your customers. Some people dont take kindly to threats. On attempt 2, I asked to take this elsewhere and have you pay for the damages. You refused. In the end, you are out $200, and have a bad review. I have a scratched vehicle, a noisy windshield with no warranty as you put it, and your aggressive threatening phone call.And in your world, you lost, and this is still my fault? If the warranty you revoked because of this review is backed by your integrity, then it was worthless.

I have recently been to this shop and and have nothing but the best to say about this place.They replaced my windshield on my Ford Edge and gave me a great deal!!I have been short on cash lately but the manager of the location gave me a discount and worked was extremely polite.I plan on referring this place to my friends and family.You should go here too!They perform a wide variety of services, pretty much complete auto-care.GO SEE THEM!!!

I brought my BMW 328i To the shop just to get a brake change. Had a side issue I asked if they dont mind checking it out for me. They did and told me the issue and quoted me a price and worked with me. Got me a ride to my home to get my work equipment and took me to my job. Had the car done quick! My dad came here to get his windshield replaced. His car had a special rear-view mirror, which had cost more at the dealership, that could open and close his garage door and had other special features. When he got his car back, he noticed that they had replaced his rear-view mirror with a plain mirror. He immediately noticed it after picking it up, but when he went back to correct the mistake, they denied everything. He has had his car for over two years and knows exactly what his rear-view mirror looks like as well as what features it has, but they told him he was mistaken. Even though he has the original papers from his dealership showing what features were installed, the shop blatantly denied everything and tried to make him feel like he just didnt know what he was talking about. I know many people who worry about getting taken advantage of by car shops, and that is exactly what has happened to my dad at this shop. They lied, refused to take any responsibility, and kept all the money he paid. Maybe they thought they could get away with it because he has an accent, but we have lived in Texas for over 30 years, and have never had something like this happen anywhere weve taken our cars. My dad has worked as an engineer his entire life, so he also knows quite a bit about cars, especially about the ones he owns. There is not much more we can do at this point other than warn other people not to trust this shop with their vehicles.In response to the rude reply below that refers to me simply as woman, I can only say I never accused anyone of stealing anything. The cars mirror worked a certain way before the windshield replacement, and the mirror that is currently on the car does not have the same functions. I would be happy to discuss having this company pay to have the mirrors functions restored or replaced so that it continues to work the same way it did before your shop worked on it.

He assisted me when My sons vehicle key was not working. He went above and beyond to assist me with a locksmith and dropped my vehicle back off to my home. His work is remarkable and unmatched. What started out as a cloudy start to my day turned into a ray of sunshine.When I saw that the glass on my car needed to be replaced my main concern was getting it done as soon as possible - especially with this weather (currently pouring heavily from above). I had contacted a few places that just didnt seem interested.When I called Northwest Houston Auto Glass in the morning they were helpful and by the time I got off the phone with them someone was already waiting for me to get there so they could start working on my vehicle.For the quality of the finished product and the price there is tremendous value - this place is truly a hidden gem.If you need to have some auto glass work done I would highly recommend working with them.

At first, the shop owner and the shop seemed OK. we saw reviews and fell for them. they were kind and seemed transparent at first but after he feels the job is done, he doesnt want anything to do with you.Caught him in lies, after the job was complete, he did not honor the work that he did by denying mistakes and damages he made during the repair. he made promises to make you feel comfortable but when it comes to honoring those promises, he did not.again, dont let the smile and promises fool you, after the money is paid, job is done they treat you like a stranger and ignore you like your typical sketchy car shop.dont know what all the positive reviews are from. must be his buddies.lastly, the owner is racist & rude. Will not be returning after feeling like our intelligence was insulted. Luckily it worked out better and I found what I needed $60 cheaper with a better glass company. Ill make sure I tell everyone to avoid you.

I came to get the back windshield of my 2012 Toyota Rav 4 replaced last year and had such a positive experience from start to finish! Because of my amazing service, I had to go back to them to get my front windshield repaired as the crack was expanding. Jim, the owner, is incredibly professional and does not push any services on you that you don’t need. He fit me in for an appointment on the same day and had me out in the amount of time he promised. He does great work and I have not had any issues with my back windshield at all since the replacement last year. In addition, I told him I was heading off to school and will be driving my car about 16 hours to my destination and he took a quick peek at the other parts of my car to make sure I didn’t need any other services.They do full services here!Tip: Very competitive prices. If you pay in cash, he will work out a discount for you!

Wow!! Got a rock chip around 4pm on a weekday. Was in their area and called to see what could be done on short notice. Jim returned my call quickly and asked what would be most convenient for me. I was just a few minutes away and already headed to their location. When I arrived they started on the repair immediately. Ive spent more time in a fast food drive-thru than it took to get me in, repaired and out! I was back in business by 5pm. Excellent! JNJ is the vendor of choice for our entire fleet of vehicles in this area. I can see why. They look to be a growing business and have probably outgrown their current location. Be aware, parking is limited. Of course as far as I can tell they have mobile service as well since Jim asked when and where he could meet me.

Needed a front windshield for my Camry, and found Jims shop on Google super close to my work. Dropped my car off at lunch time, got a ride from Jim, and had my car with shining windshield delivered at 2 PM. Excellent price! Excellent work! Couldnt be happier. His shop is not big and fancy. But hey, thats how he passes the savings to you.

I called and asked if I could come by and he offered to come to me. Jim was very quick and price was right ($50 for a small thumb crack and a star crack). Offered a very good price on a full windshield replacement and offered to credit that days visit.Notes: Website says he takes credit cards, which he does, but make sure he brings the machine with him or be prepared to write him a check or give him cash.Overall a very good experience and I would recommend.

Late post but on yesterday I had the pleasure to speak with Mr. Jim the owner of the business and I was so impressed with him. One day my car decided to act up horribly to the point to where I couldnt drive it. Im a delivery driver so I needed to get my car worked on asap so I can return back to work. I looked up the nearest mechanic shop and it was only a few minutes away from my location. I was skeptical to try out a new place that Ive never been before but this car tragedy turned out to be a blessing. I ended up creating an amazing relationship with some of the best workers I know. Not only are the mechanics here reliable and knowledgeable, they get the work done quickly. My first visit here I was back on the road in a few hours and back to work. Since my first visit Ive had to get some other things repaired on my car and every time I get work done by these guys Im amazed by the results. They turned my car back into the same car that I loved when I first bought it. Whenever I think of somewhere to go for repairs, this is my go to spot now.

Someone broke the window in my Avalanche. I contacted Jim at Northwest Houston Automotive. Jim found me a replacement window at a very fair price. When I arrived for my appointment Jim took my vehicle on time and I was finished in just over an hour. Hopefully I don’t have any more broken vehicle windows but if I do I will call these guys!

I have had 3 windshields replaced on different cars in the last 2 months due to 290 construction. Spoke with Jim and he came to my house and did the job which was very convenient. I shopped around and you cant beat his prices and quality. I would definitely us them again.

I’ve been here twice to get a new windshield. People are friendly and the price was good.I would give five stars except for:The first time they made a small gash in my dash. The second a little nick and the dash and support bars were dirty. They didn’t clean up their finger/hand prints on the insideThey didn’t ask me if I wanted a tinted windshield or not and it didn’t cross my mind to ask. Out of fairness I don’t remember if my previous one had it but the new one seemed different.Lastly, it took over two hours.None of this was a big enough deal to take off more than one star.

Great customer service, which is extremely rare! Called for a vehicle inspection and they were about to close, but told me not to worry about their business hours just bring in my vehicle. Very friendly and professional. Would recommend them to my grandparents or parents, so that means I would recommend them to anyone. Will also be leaving positive reviews on BBB, although Google is nice; the BBB accreditation is what really helps the company.

Im writing this review to express how pleased I am with the over all service that I received from JNJ Auto Glass Services. I selected this establishment after reading all of the positive reviews that it was given. I reviewed the website and noticed that they rendered more services than just windshield repair and replacement. I needed to have the seal replaced around my back windshield, brakes & rotors replaced as well. It was a one stop shop for my needs. My back windshield was removed, reset and the seal was done seamlessly. You would have never known that it was replaced. My brakes and rotors were installed without issue. They even repaired some small cracks in my front windshield for me and repaired my broken cupholder without a cost to me. They provided me with AWESOME 360 degree service! I would recommend them to anyone! Give them a try!

Took my car here for a tire rotation. They let me drive off with FOUR missing lug nuts, two of them on the same wheel. Very dangerous.My car had locking lug nuts on it which they claim were on too tight and had to be broken. They showed me one of them and made it sound like only one was too tight. He spoke about it very casually like it was no big deal at all. What he did NOT tell me was that all four locking lug nuts had been broken and none of them were replaced. I dont care that they had to break them, but I had four brand new lug nuts in my car!! They were in a clear case which also contained the key to the locking lug nuts so I KNOW they saw them! There was absolutely NO reason to let me drive off with missing lug nuts when replacements were available!! This was extreme negligence on their part.On top of that, my husband called to inform them of what happened and the owner/manager basically blew him off and accused him of lying. He didnt seem concerned about the dangerous situation that his shop created at all. We werent even asking for a discount or a refund or anything like that, we just called to let him know.Please be very careful with these people, its extremely dangerous to drive with two missing lug nuts on the same wheel. Any respectable shop should have known better.Edit: I figured he would accuse me of lying in his reply just like he did on the phone. I have absolutely no reason to lie about this business. I was actually happy with the window, but I also feel that when a business is this negligent with safety issues, people deserve to know. Theres no way for me to prove that Im telling the truth, but if you read his reply carefully, you will see some troubling things:1: He AGAIN shows no concern for the huge safety risks of missing two lug nuts on one tire. This is extremely dangerous, he should have charged me for new lugs, refused to do the work, asked me to replace them, ANYTHING but let me drive off in an unsafe vehicle. Not to mention the fact that his technician SAW new lugs in my vehicle with the key. Hes outright admitting that he let me leave while missing lug nuts. Hes a mechanic and he thinks this is okay. Ask ANY other mechanic, two lug nuts missing on one wheel is NOT okay!!2: He completely failed to address the fact that he/his technician saw new lug nuts in the clear case with the key that they USED. They had access to new lug nuts and chose to let me drive off without them rather than put them on.3: He accuses my husband of putting the locking nuts on too tight and/or cross threading them. This isnt true, I put them on myself and if they had been cross threaded then the next mechanic that I had to take it to would have had a problem putting the new lug nuts on. Much more importantly, notice how hes focused on whose fault the broken locks (that I explicitly said I didnt care about) were, rather than the safety issues with letting a customer drive off missing lug nuts.4: He seems to think that having a flat and being unable to change it is somehow worse than driving at highway speeds on missing lug nuts. Its not. Ask any mechanic, two lugs missing on one wheel is extremely dangerous. A flat tire sucks but it doesnt put your life at risk.Please read between the lines here, is this really the kind of mechanic that you want to trust with your vehicle?

Highly recommended!!! This is the only company that is really 24hrs. I called every company that claims to be 24hrs for auto glass repair and never got a real person. JMJ Auto Glass was the only company to answer after business hours (after midnight). They came out and replace my trucks back window, and I was driving again by 11am. They are honest with excellent quality work. If I ever need any of my auto glass replaced, this the only company I will ever use. Thank you Jim!!!

Jim is a down-to-earth, friendly guy who seems to care about how his work reflects on himself and his business. He took the time to drive out to my work and replace my windshield with no charge for the travel. I have a 2000 Ford Ranger, which at its age can be difficult to work with. He did a great job and was always friendly and quick to answer his phone, and just as quick to call back when he couldnt. Convenient, courteous, and cool. Highly recommended.

JNJ had the windshield for our truck in stock and they were available the same day to install it. They were more ready than I was! 2 days later we went in to have the windshield replaced. Customer service is exceptional at JNJ. Jim even called to make sure we didnt get lost on the way. We also got our inspection done and it all took no time at all - less than an hour.After finding out that JNJ is a full service auto shop, we will definitely come here for anything we may need.

By far the best car service experience Ive had, customer service and pricing wise. Jim was very attentive and reasonable. He had no problem coming to me and got the job done in a timely manner. I am definitely saving Jims number for the future and HIGHLY recommending him to others.

Great Service! I have to say I was very pleased to see that it everything was done professionally. They treated me like family and made a bad situation into a great experience. I had called and talked to many different people and LSB Auto Glass Repair was by far the most reasonable and professional. When it comes to window repair they set the bar high. They educated me on what they were doing while i watched and that is something most will not do. All in all it was a pleasant experience and i was blessed to have done business with LSB.

This place is great!!! I had a cracked windshield on my Nissan Altima so reached out to a large national provider who was going to have me wait a week to get an appointment and cost $344. I called JNJ who got me in on the same day and saved me over $100! Plus, the shop was clean and the people there are super-nice. Save your time, save your money, support small business and call JNJ - thats my two cents.

The place was great. They replaced my windshield in less time the owner quoted. Very professional, courteous, and friendly. Ill be taking my truck there for a brake job as well.

These guys are so close to home and work on all four of my familys vehicles. They also do inspections, which is a huge plus for me. I made the mistake of taking my car here for suspension work. I asked Jim Moten, who I believe is the owner, to look at the suspension and let me know what it needed. I had previously taken it to another shop and their quote was kind of high so when I got a couple prices over the phone from Jim the thief, his quote was much lower. That all changed when I brought the car in. He used the bait and hook approach. He said there were several things wrong with the car (later verified to be false) and that to fix the suspension problems and make the car ride like it is supposed to it would be $1500. He charged my credit card $1500 before he performed the work and then gave back the car with all types of problems. For starters the dash was displaying a “hood open” alert, that was not there before, and the hood was not open, the car drove way worse than when I dropped it off, and he didn’t even finish the work, which is why I was willing to pay him extra in the first place, because time was of the essence. He told me they just didn’t have enough time to fix it that day but I could bring it back in a couple days and they would fix the rest. When I asked him if it was going to ride better when I brought it back and they “fixed the rest” he replied “No”. He said the car had a tight suspension and that was just a characteristic of the car. It was a CADILLAC! I tried to talk to him about my dissatisfaction with his work and it was like talking to a box of rocks. He kept trying to gaslight and deflect and bring up insignificant points. All he did was try and blame shift instead of addressing the problem at hand. He kept saying he didn’t tell me to buy that car and why am I blaming him for buying it! He constantly kept mentioning how I should have expected to put money into a used car and it wasn’t his fault if I didn’t have the money to fix everything that was wrong with the car. The point that I was trying to make to him was that I paid him an arm and a leg to fix the suspension in one day and he failed at both. The car rode horribly and it wasn’t fixed when he gave it back to me. Also, I was going to have to waste more of my time bringing it back to him. He was trying to deflect and offend me by saying “it’s not his fault that I didn’t have the money” He wanted me to get off topic and defend my finances to him so we could move off the real topic of him not doing the job. I never mentioned that I didn’t have the $3900 he originally wanted, I only told him that if the car really needed that much work I would be better off selling it. As I mentioned previously, the things that he was claiming were wrong with it were discovered to be untrue. He is a dishonest crook. I wish I would have waited until I drove the car before I paid him because once he had my money he didn’t even try to fix the suspension. Save your money, time, and energy and take your car elsewhere. I tried to dispute the transaction with the credit card company but he falsified the work order and added prices to it after I had already signed it. When I signed it as I was dropping the car off to him (giving him permission to assess the car and tell me what was wrong with it) it did not have any prices on it. He added those prices later to make it look like I agreed to pay that amount and win the charge dispute. I plan to report him to the BBB and hope and pray that no one else has to go through what I went through. I’m pretty sure he must have bought the positive reviews from a company that sells positive reviews to businesses. I may be out $1500 but if I can help one person from losing their money with him it will make me feel better.In response to the owners response: It does not constitute credit card fraud when you dispute a credit card transaction for services that were never provided. You bought your positive reviews. You talk a good game but a good, decent, honest mechanic would have fixed the car, made sure the customer was happy with the work, and then charged the customer but you are a con man and had to charge my credit card beforehand.

They scratched my car and did not even apologize for it and made it seem like I caused it. I would take my worst enemy to get their car fixed here

I spoke with Jim before I arrive at his store. He was able to give me an estimate of the windshield replacement. This is the first time I have ever needed a windshield replacement and the replacement was quicker than I expected; it only took approximately one hour for them to replace the windshield. Definitely recommended.

I called for info on getting my vehicle inspected and Jim was very quick to help although it was less than an hour before closing. (6pm) He was friendly and professional, not to mention very good and quick at what he does! I would totally recommend this business!

Had my back window broken into and called Jim at around 4 pm to see if I could get it fixed. He drove to my place at 7 pm, and in about 30 minutes cleaned up all the glass in my car and replaced the window at a reasonable price.Would recommend you give him a shot if any repairs are needed!

I knew there was a danger he may break the glass taking it off. He, in fact, broke the glass... But, he gave me a decent enough deal on replacing with a new one.Points against--Broke my sunroof switch-Broke the spring clip holding my rear view mirror in place-When I called to ask about them, he denied taking them off to replace glass (despite the fact the rear view mirror is attached to the glass)

This was a great experience. Jim answered his phone every time I called. He gave me a quote and stuck by his number which was $100 less than my first quote by another vendor. He called before he came out and was on time. He was professional, honest and cleaned up after he completed the installation. This is the right way to run a business. Great job Jim.
