I received an estimate of the cost for the repairs in a timely manner and scheduled an appointment the same week of the incident. This company was good with communication and is very responsive as well. The repairs took a couple of hours and as person who pays attention to detail, I was very pleased and surprised with the outcome. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs front or rear bumper repairs.

I contacted the Houston paint guy for serious scratchs on the paint of my car (as you can see on the pictures).The job was done amazingly by Amaya: he showed up on the morning as planned (and called me before to update me on where he was at).The work took a few hours, all done in my own garage, and Amaya was very open to discuss the all process and to show me what he was doing.The result is amazing, absolutely perfect as if the car was out of the factory.Looking to the car under various angles and light conditions, there is absolutely no way to tell there has been a repair done to it.In addition to the convenience of a job being completed in one day, and at home, the price was actually reasonable.I highly recommend the Houston paint guy!

He initially came over(07/19) and repaired a crack on my Corvette front fender. I paid cash. 3 weeks later, the repaired crack showed up again. After badgering him for 6 weeks (09/19) and him missing appointments, he comes over and grinds out the crack and applies epoxy. Another 4 weeks goes by with him missing appointments to finish the job with paint and clear coat (10/19). A week later I am telling him that the finish looks terrible and is very rough looking. He says it just has to be buffed out. 4 weeks later he doesnt even reply. Body shops tell me the fender has to be completely redone - he misapplied the clear coat.Stay away from this loser. Pay up for a reputable shop.

I had a slight scratch on my vehicle and sent an online quote request with an uploaded photo on Wednesday evening. Here it is late Friday morning and nobody has bothered to get back to me with a simple repair estimate by email, not to make an actual appointment for the repair. Am I being overly picky expecting a simple estimate in one day???

I dont write many reviews, but The Houston Paint Guy did such a great job I wanted to pay it forward. My Porsche had a scrape along the corner of the rear bumper. Amaya came to my office and within a few hours had it looking like it was never there. When I was inspecting it after he was done, it took me a minute to realize I wasnt even looking at the right spot! Thats how good the repair looked.

Amaya was very nice and professional. I was considering multiple options in the Houston area, but Amaya was the only one who was professional and would respond to all my questions quickly. Amaya was was very accommodating. We ran into an issue where the week I needed my car fixed, it was forecasted to rain everyday, and the humidity from a rain shower can mess up the paint drying process. We had to keep re-scheduling around the rain, and he was very flexible to also work around my work schedule. He was so fast, and fixed several large scratches on my rear bumper in under two hours. Quality work, and a super nice guy. Hopefully I dont run my car into any more walls, but if I did, I know who to call. Keep in mind that you have to have your car near an outlet. He does have an extension cord, but extension cords only go so far.

Amazing service and work from Amaya and Rudy. I got the referral to Houston Paint Guy from a mobile auto detailing company that works on exotics and I needed a large deep chip on the back driver panel fixed on my nissan GTR. I also had to fix my wifes lexus RX suv rear/front bumper while they were here at my home. I left the garage open and they were on their own pretty much the whole time. Amaya responds quickly to my texts and answered all my questions. You could tell that these guys have a passion for cars from the detailed description of their processes in fixing my cars. love it and I would refer them to anyone who also cares alot about their cars.

I read all of the reviews and so I reached out to schedule an appointment. I spoke to Amaya, who seemed like a really nice man. I sent him the pics of the scratches and scheduled an appointment. I also confirmed the appt, through the appt calendar on the website. Weeks went by with no confirmation of the appt. I finally called Amay6 back, and he apologized for forgetting about me, no problem, everyone gets busy. But then it happened again. So I rescheduled again. But that time I had to reschedule. So I rescheduled on his site again, and spoke to him, and set a date for 7/12/19, in which he informed me that the 12th was booked, but 7/19 was available. So I took it, he texted me that he would send the confirmation. I never received the confirmation. So I texted him the next day..he didnt reply. The day before the appt I reached out to Amaya again with still no response back. Very poor customer serviceand follow through. Ive called since and have left messages, and have been very cordial, to which he has ignored all of my attempts. Im very disappointed to say the least...

This guy is the truth! I had a seriuos deep scratch on my Buick Regal. It was deeeep! Just knew i had to go to a body shop. I was wrong.. He came over within 2 hours and fixed it. He had all the right equipemnt and paint!

Amaya is a great guy! Punctual, professional and devoted to work. My GMC 2016 Terrain got scratched (slightly dented and paint got chipped). I stopped by couple auto body shops and their quotes were ridiculously high and they put unnecessary (10-20h) working hours on the quotes. I called Amaya and made an appointment. After 6 hours, I got a brand new car (dents were removed and paint were repaired) and there was NO color difference at all!! And Amaya only charged me half as much as auto body shops did. When you paint need to repair, Amayas HPG is the way to go!!

I got a major scratch on the door of my Porsche Cayman S driving on the newly opened segment of the Grand Parkway; I went around to a lot of other body shops in the North Houston area, a lot of body shops wanted to simply paint over the whole door, but I wanted to keep the original paint as much as possible. I found Houston Paint Guy on google and viewed his instagram account, and I saw a black Porsche almost just like mine with the same Carrera wheels, too! I was impressed because it looks like he had a lot of experience working on high-end vehicles so I contacted him with pictures of my vehicle so he was able to give me an online estimate, and arranged for an appointment later that week. Amaya is very professional with his customers and tells you exactly what he will do before he does it; the best thing about his unique service is that he comes to you (home or work) and you dont have to feel uncomfortable giving the keys to your precious car to somebody you dont know; and if you want, you can even see with your own eyes everything he does! His work isnt cheap, but I was pleased with the quality of his work and he even gave me a little bottle of touch-up paint from the left over unused paint. I would feel confident doing business with Houston Paint Guy again, awesome work and great service! I originally posted this review on Yelp; so here it is again!

Amaya, Owner of Houston Paint Guy was AWESOME! His work repairing the deep scratch on the tailgate of my 14 GMC Acadia was unbelievable. This car has a tricoat paint job and you could not tell it was ever damaged after Amayas repair. The GM dealers and other auto paint centers wanted to remove all the back chrome, lights, rear wipers and take up to 3 days to repair. Houston Paint Guy only had to remove the car lettering and took less than 4 hours! Total cost was MUCH LESS than the dealers too!Amaya may be THE HOUSTON PAINT GUY but hes MY paint guy from now on!
